Title: The Flutemaker

Plot: MC has lived his/her entire life in Heart and Soul, literally the name of town

MC is an orphan who was taken in by relatives

MC loves music since it is soothing and a constant in his/her life, can play all the instruments well

It's an average school day and MC returning home

Find a cardboard box tied with ribbona and labeled for MC  in front of door

Takes box inside and opens it; Reveals a glistening white flute

Flute has an oddly curved shape and MC plays the flute

News reports of a murder in Darkness; victim was a school student at MC's school, who was a friend of MC

School has a moment of silence for killed student

Police began investigating murder, interviews at school: people who had been close to the victim

MC is interviewed, police concluded as innocent

MC practices with flute again

Day comes, after school, another present; Another gleaming flute

Days pass and MC continues receiving flutes

News of murders continue

The stranger shows up at MC's house, when no one is around, and hands MC a flute

Next day a new murder, but interesting news too

A connection was made: all victims have a bone missing

MC pieces it together; the flutes are made of bones

Who has the skill to make bones into flutes? The flutemaker in town

MC confronts the flutemaker

And that's all I got. I was really tempted to start a fic with this but I had no idea how to end it. So, I'm leaving it to you to figure out how it ends.

Will the MC be silenced by the flutemaker? Will the MC be accepting of the flutemaker?
