"We're Just Friends" [HIATUS]
Description
This story is about Hwang Minyoung's journey to becoming an idol. After successfully becoming a trainee, everything seems to be going fine. That is, until she meets SHINee. They were her first real friends here in Korea, even though their friendship wasn't exactly normal. Little did she know that her 'friendship' with one of Korea's top idol groups would make her journey harder and almost cost her her dream of becoming an idol.

This was it. She went through hell just to be able to reach this point, and she still has a long way to go before she could proudly call herself an idol. Minyoung closed her eyes as she heard the audience talking excitedly trying to figure out what was going on. Oh no, don't be mistaken. They weren't here to see her. They were here for a concert, not a debut performance.
She opened her eyes and walked towards the middle of the stage. The HOTTESTs turned all their attention to her. "I hope I don't disappoint any of you guys." She thought. As she was scanning the crowd, she saw a familiar face in the front row. His only disguise was a fitted cap and shades to hide his face. Minyoung could see his colored hair peeking out from the cap. The sudden smile on his face confirmed that he saw her too. That heart-breaking, beautiful smile that used to be her motivation. She wondered how he managed to find out about her debut performance. Suddenly, memories of the past 4 years flooded her mind, and she stood there, frozen. Remembering where she was, she shook her head and cleared her mind. "No way, you're not going to ruin this for me too. I want you to see how far I've come. I want you to see that you're not the only 'Almighty' idol out there. This is for you." The music started to play and the lights . She smirked at Key, fixed her headset, and made the first move.
Foreword
This is my first ever fanfic, so please don't expect too much!
Most of the story will be from Rhea's POV, but I may switch it to Key's and Taemin's POV every now and then. Basically, this story is mostly about Rhea's journey to becoming an idol. Excuse me if SHINee's personalities are different in the story. I've only been a shawol for about a month or two, so I'm not exactly an expert on them.
I'm not sure how long I'm going to make this story. The more comments I get = the longer I'll make the story. I'm most likely going to update this story maybe once a week? I still have summer reading to do for school so I may not be able to write that much... Sorry in advance!
P.S. The foreword is supposed to be towards the end of the story. So I'm beginning with events that happen before this.
