Onew: “Oh Come on ______” He pouts in front of you. You and Onew were sitting together on the couch just talking until he had brought something up “Please do this challenge for me?” he puts his hands together and puts his lips, flapping his sad eyes

You: “Okay fine” giving into his will. As soon as you said yes his face cheered right up “What’s the challenge?” your ears open for him

Onew: “Okay, the challenge is to live 1 day without me.” He does a dubu smile as your face looks confused

You: “Onew? What kind of challenge is that?” 1 day without Onew? Can you really do that?

Onew: “It’s a fun challenge! Now here are the rules, tomorrow, you can’t see me, talk to me, or meet me. You have to go through 1 whole day without me. Got it?” he looks at you serious

You: “Got it, Got it. But what’s the point of this whole thing?”

Onew: he thinks for a while before responding “If you can last 1 whole day without me; Then I’ll love you more than I love you now” he smiles as he taps your nose lightly with his index finger

You: “Okay” you agreed.

The next day you woke up grabbing your phone to text Onew

You: “Oh yeah, I’m not supposed to talk to him…” remembering the challenge from yesterday. You put your phone down and sighed as you got ready for today “A whole day without Onew…” you thought to yourself. Ever since you started dating Onew, you had talked to him at least once every day. Today was going to be real different as you thought about what you can do to keep your mind off him.

As the day went by, the hours soon passed and the day was already over. You head to sleep, accomplished by finishing the challenge!

The Next morning you woke up and texted Onew like you always do. But as minutes pass, nothing came back. You look at your phone, thinking something might be wrong.

You got ready and headed to SHINee’s dorm, knocking on the door.

You: “Hey Key” you smile as he opened the door. You look at Key’s face, his eyes red and swollen. “What happened?” worried now after seeing Key’s crying face

He lets you in and when your eyes focus to the middle of the room, there were a lot of people inside, all surrounding the coffin in the middle. Tears start to fall as you walk slowly closer, everyone’s eyes on you

Key: “_____, Here… this is from Onew” he hands you a small piece of paper that had been folded once. You look at him confused as you open the note to find his hand writing, with little blots of wetness around them

You did it ______, now I know you can do it every day…

Those were the only words that were written. You look at the Key, speechless

It turns out Onew had given you that challenge without letting you know that he had only 24 hours to live because he was suffering from cancer. The note dropped from your hands as Key wrapped his hands around you to comfort you. You began crying hard into Key’s chest as the other members came to help comfort you, each one crying themselves.
