Next week Byul had to attend a formal gathering for her father's company success with their most recent customer that brought in much revenue for the company to prosper.

Her father had highly requested that Byul find someone to come with her in order to look professional and to not give their family a bad name. He had said that it would be better if the man was her boyfriend because there would be many relatives there around the same age as her, and they were all taken. It would look a little odd if the CEO's daughter didn't have a boyfriend.

Like the obedient child Byul is, she nodded in understanding, but then frowned when she went back to her room. 

Byul didn't have a boyfriend, so she would have to find someone to be a temporary one. 

She sighed and blew air into her cheeks. Taking her phone, she scrolled her contact list to see if there was anyone available and to her liking.

"Byunghee oppa?" she pondered, finger hovering over his name. "I could just give him a call..." She nodded in determination and slid her finger over Byunghee's name, calling him.

She put the phone to her right ear and waited for the call to go through. She counted the beeps before Byunghee finally picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Byunghee oppa," Byul greeted.

"Oh, hey Byul. What's up?"

"I have a small favour to ask you..."

"Shoot."

"Basically, my father has another one of those formal gatherings for his company... yada yada yada you get the point, and I need someone as a boyfriend for the day to not give my family a bad name. Apparently, all my other relatives around the same age as me will all have a partner, and it will look bad if I don't. I don't think my father realises I don't have a boyfriend," Byul explained.

"Sounds like quite an event. When is it?"

"Next week... I think it was Friday or Saturday."

"Ah... I promised my manager I'd do the weekend shifts at the coffee shop because I took last week off for a hospital appointment. Sorry, Byul," Byunghee said.

"Oh... Nevermind then, Byunghee oppa. I can find someone else. Thanks anyway."

"Good luck on finding someone. I'll treat you to coffee next time, okay?" Byunghee laughed.
