You were bored and decided to invite Yerin over today to your place, hoping that you and her would at least spend some girly time together. You haven't seen each other since the night after the Halloween thing, and you were at least hoping to spend a whole day together with her today doing things like watching a movie. It's been a while since you really did any of that, and you're hoping to just include only you and her,  and no one else.

Your phone had beeped and you checked it. 'I'll be over at 4-5' she texted you.

A few things had happened since you practically last saw her, and being her best friend, of course you would be eager to tell her everything that happened. The thing between you and Kris and the weird incident in which Chanyeol told you that Baekhyun was upset, where he actually turned out fine the next day. Even after a few days had passed, your question to Chanyeol about the whole thing still wasn't answered, which left you wondering what was the actual reason.

Despite all these talks about the boys and how they seem annoying and strange to you, you were pretty sure that Yerin would think the exact opposite. She clearly showed an obvious liking to them on the first day that she had met them, especially towards Luhan, and Luhan seemed to have feelings of the likes with her as well. However, for today, you wish that you and her would just brush off the boy stuff and concentrate on the late afternoon you had planned out together.

"Princess!" An excited Suho appeared suddenly out of nowhere as you reached the bottom of the stairs to go to the kitchen, making you jolt in surprise. "Relax, it's only me. Anyway, good morning." he greeted

"Oh, Suho," you said in surprise. Since it's been a while since their arrival, you dropped the formalities with most of the members now. "Good morning to you too."

"What are you doing here?" he asked

"I was just getting a drink" you replied

"Oh, okay,"  he said, shrugging his shoulders "well, see you around then"

"Yeah," you said about to walk off "Oh, by the way, Yerin's coming over today at around 4-5 or so. We're planning to have a day to ourselves, so like, would you tell your fellow members to keep it down please?"

"Suuure," he replied with a bit of mischief in his voice, you narrowed your eyes at him "jokes, I will" he said rushing back up the stairs.

The door bell rang.

"MiNaaaaaaaaa!" Yerin attacked you as she wrapped her arms around you and bounced up and down in excitement "It feels as if it's been too long since i've seen you!" she exclaimed.

You felt as if you were suffocating judging by the way she hugged you "Ow, ow. I know Rin, I know." you replied in agony. Yerin got the idea that she perhaps was hugging you a bit too tight, but she gave one final squeeze before letting go. She grinned at you and twiddled her fingers together cutely.

Yerin was always a fun and bubbly girl ever since you knew her, which is probably one of the reasons why you love her so much, it's like she was the type of nice and friendly girl whilst you were the cold and arrogant girl, like she was the other half you didn't have/weren't. She was cute too, with her block bangs framing her face and these big puppy dog eyes, yes, she was full of aegyo too. It was weird how you two became the best of friends with such different personalities.

"So, what are we doing today then?" she asked eagerly, her eyes darting all over the place out of curiosity.

"I was thinking...scary movie?" you suggested, smiling.

"Yeah!"

"But like, we gotta get things ready first. You know, popcorn, snacks, drinks."

"Sure, I don't think it's gonna take a while though," she said "Will...uh, will EXO join us?" she asked, stuttering in a whispher

You rolled your eyes. For some reason, you had a feeling that she would ask this question. "I-I was kind of hoping it would just be us two," you answered honestly, Yerin immediately showed signs of dissappointment. "But hey, anyways, i've got some things to tell you about them, too. Stuff that happened between us for the past few days. Come upstairs." you gestured her and she followed you up the stairs.

Of course, you wanted it to just be you and her for today. You practically live with EXO now, and time spent with them doesn't seem really special or some kind of rare opportunity since they're with you 24/7, but with Yerin, it's like a rush of butterflies in her stomach everytime she sees them, and you could understand that she would seem pretty excited.

You reached the top of the stairs when all of a sudden you saw Kris approaching you walking across the hallway, holding another book in his hand. You smiled at him and assumed he had come back from the library again. "Hi, Kris" you greeted.

Kris smiled back at you "Hello, Princess", he turned over to Yerin and bowed slightly to her "Annyeonghasseyo" he greeted Yerin. She blushed slightly at his formalities and bowed back at him. You and Yerin entered your bedroom whilst Kris was left to do what he was going to do.

"Aigooo," said Yerin "He was so dreamy. Kris. Hm, that doesn't sound like a Korean or Chinese name?" she asked

"He's from Canada," you replied "Oh! By the way, I have something to tell you about him." you said.

She replied with an 'Ooh' and both of you plonked yourselves on your bed and you began to tell her about the whole incident in which you met him in the library and before you knew it he suddenly took you flying. You could see that Yerin grew a bit jealous as you were describing how he wrapped his arms around you before you took off. It was weird though, because you talked about it in such a girly manner, and that wasn't really your style. The way you said it sounded as if Kris was your crush or your boyfriend, but no, strictly speaking he wasn't either, but Yerin had teased you about it saying that youre getting a little crush on him, but you laughed it off saying that it wasnt like that.

You also talked about the whole Baekhyun being upset thing. Yerin said that maybe Chanyeol was just joking about it for no reason at all, but you assured her that you knew there was a reason behind it, it's just that Chanyeol didn't want to tell you, and you're almost certain that there's a reason behind it, but then again, Yerin could be half right. 

"Maybe he likes you" she said, browsing on her phone before putting it down

"Baekhyun? You're joking" you replied, unconvinced

"Or Chanyeol-ssi," she suggested "Maybe he wants you to not like Baekhyun, whilst Baekhyuns trying to get you to like him. You said that Baekhyun-ssi was trying to show you his 'light' powers the other day, sounds like a bit of a flirt even if it was a dare. Think about it though, im not saying that it's entirely true what im saying, im just suggesting." 

Come to think of it, that could be a very slim possibility. "Maybe, but I don't think so." you sniffed. Could some of the EXO members really be crushing in you or what? Either way, they have an extremely bad way of showing their interest in someone they like, almost as if they can't express what they feel, like little boys who try to show girls that they like them by teasing them. Yeah, that's what they acted like most of the time. Like little kids. 

"So," Yerin said eagerly, cupping her chin with both her hands "How's Luhan?" she grinned

You rolled your eyes. "I had a talk with him the other day at the terrace. I mentioned you, too." 

"Omo! Jinja? What did he say? What did you say?" her eyes widened in curiosity.

You smiled, you knew she was gonna wet her pants at what you were about to say next. "Rin, I think he likes you"

Boom. That was it. Yerin started fangirling and squealing silently to herself and you hushed her up and told her to calm down before anyone else hears anything. "Yah!" you scolded

"Mianhe, it's just...aigo. Really? Ahh. Eottoke? What to do? MiNa!" she exclaimed. You knew she would react this way, so you told her all that happened and what you and Luhan talked about up in the terrace. It was clear that there was some sort of thing going on between these two. You also mentioned how it was weird that he wanted to go up so eagerly too, but both of you just shrugged it off.

You spent the next hour talking to each other, just talking. Sometimes, the topic of boys and EXO would drift off and get replaced by other subjects, you and her would recall the times when you and her were just little, and now you were both practically adults. Yerin was great. And you loved her company since it felt like she was the only person you could ever talk to or share feelings with.

"Okay, okay. We're losing it; the movie, remember?" she said, pointing at the clock, indicating that it was six o'clock

"Oh, right." you replied. You and Yerin had immediately rushed downstairs making a thud of noise as you went, grabbing all kinds of snacks, finger food and junk food you could raid in the kitchen. And being in a humongous palace, there was more than just enough for the two of you. Both of you had laid out the food on the table in the living room, the lights dimmed to give off a spooky atmosphere. Sweaters, cotton socks, something to cuddle and of course, the chef's hot chocolate.

You rummaged through the DVD pile near the TV and randomly selected out one from the horror section. You held it up.

"Insidious?" Yerin questioned the movie

"Yeah, sure. Why not? I've only seen it once but I don't mind, have you?" you asked, Yerin shook her head in response. "Insidious it is then" you said, opening the cd and pushed it inside the player.

"Ahemm..."

You turned around and slowly went up right. Most of the boys were standing outside the living room door, popcorn and mugs of hot chocolate were in their hands. They all grinned at you. "Can we join?" they asked in synchronization. You eyed Suho, which who you were assuming was the one that told the other members about your little plan with Yerin. You opened your mouth to speak when you stopped and suddenly looked to your right. There was Yerin, standing in adoration with her palms clasped together as was leftpretty much open, you swear you could see her eyes forming heart shapes and twinkling. Slowly, she waddled over next to you.

"C-can they?" she whisphered in your ear.

You rolled your eyes. "Whatever" you said in defeat. The boys cheered and immediately made themselves at home as they plonked themselves on the couch. Chanyeol grabbed the remote control and was about to click the play button. You looked around and realised that maybe some more snacks should be needed, so you decided to go to the kitchen and get some more.

A minute later you came back with a pepsi and another bag of popcorn in your hand, you hadn't missed much since it was only the introductions appearing on the screen, however the font and ghostly sounds that came with it made it creepy. You placed the food down on the table then turned to look for Yerin, to your surprise and shock, she was sitting in between Luhan and Sehun. She was looking comfortable with her feet up as she was quietly mumbling to Luhan, whereas Sehun seemed upset at the fact that she was somewhat ing him. You threw a confused look at her, but she didn't seem to notice. There were no other spaces, except for the one near Baekhyun. "Yogi, princess" he gestured to you. You sighed and sat down next to him, he grinned at you. "Gwenchana?" he asked, nudging you.

"Mm" you mumbled back.

"If you ever get scared, i'm here" his grin was spread even wider and you sniggered silently at how cheesy it was.

The movie had started and already people were getting scared at something that was not even the scary part yet. You watched this movie before, but that was a while back so you couldn't exactly remember the scenes in order. You turned your head to find Luhan and Yerin, who cuddling up to each other slightly, you couldn't help but feel left out and unknowingly made a face. How dare she ditch you in a matter of minutes just because you left the room for some guy who she only met once? Of course, you understand that she likes him, but seriously, she doesn't need to treat you like you're non existent. You turned your head around and decided to just ignore them.

Baekhyun stretched and yawned, raising his arms in the air, his arms were going down and you knew he was about to do that 'move' on you. "Baekhyun," you warned "no". He stopped in mid air and looked at you before putting them down immediately and crossed his arms and pouted his lips in despair. You laughed slightly, he can be funny sometimes.

About an hour passed in to the movie. A few scary scenes had already happened, and you couldn't help but get scared at the plot line and the scenes that probably will not help you sleep tonight. A few yelps and screams came from even the guys, and you, being scared, had no other option besides to hold on to Baekhyun when the tension became too much, but actually, Baekhyun held on to you before you held on to him since he seemed much more scared.

The movie had finished soon after, and it left everyone pretty much petrified. "I.can't." said Suho, shaking.

"It wasn't that scary" said Kai

"Sequel, sequel! I wanna know what happens next," Chanyeol squealed. "That was alright, actually. It's gonna leave me a bit creeped out for a few days though because of the links in the storyline."

"Now who's gonna shower with me tonight?" Tao whined

You looked around to see what the other members were doing as the lights were switched on. To your surprise, Luhan and Yerin were nowhere to be found. They literally disappeared. You put on a confused face. Where could they have gone? Did they sneak out somewhere together? You tilted your head and wondered where they could be in the palace. Then, it hit you. The terrace.

Immediately, you walked out of the living room and took the lift up to the terrace. You walked a couple stairs up, where you came to the door that led to it. Slowly, you pushed it open, it was a bit stiff at first, but you finally swung it wide. You gasped slightly at what you were seeing; Luhan and Yerin were just centimetres off away each others faces, before they both turned around to look at you. Both of them blushed and looked away, trying to seem as if they weren't doing anything with each other.

"Uh, guys?" you said sternly "we were watching a movie?"

"Uh, n-ne..." stuttered Luhan who nervously scratched his neck "I-i'll go back downstairs now, Mina, Y-Yerin-ssi" he anxiously trotted off by himself, leaving you and Yerin face to face. You crossed your arms.

"Why did you guys sneak off like that?" you asked, sounding annoyed

"We didn't-" she defended "we were just-I don't know, i'm sorry, Mina"

"Yerin, this was supposed to be our movie time. I mean, I had no choice other than to invite EXO when they came since they were practically ready to watch the movie. And plus, you were looking at me with those puppy dog eyes of yours."

"Couldn't resist, huh?" she said, trying to lighten the mood

"It's no joke, Rin," you replied "it's just-okay. Let me get this straight. First, you seem more eager to hang out with EXO than you were with your best friend. Second, you totally ignored me during the whole part of the movie, didn't even sit next to me and it got me annoyed. Third, you sneak off with Luhan whilst we were in the middle of watching it, too? No wonder he wanted to know where the terrace was; wanted a place where he could secretly steal a kiss from you. Aishh."

"Hey, don't talk about him like that, okay?"

"What, so you're defending him now?"

"I didn't say I was defen-"

"Yeah, well you are."

She rolled her eyes. "You know, why are you getting so stressed today?"

You sighed "You're totally being ignorant of me, Rin. Ever since I introduced you to those guys it's just been - ugh!"

"What? I don't talk about them to you all the time. You're just saying that cause you're mad."

"Yeah, well, maybe I am mad then. You know what, maybe I shouldn't have planned this out today. It's been EXO this, guys that, boys this, Luhan here, Luhan there." you said, turning your back.

"Just cause one of them is interested in me and not you!" Yerin said. She immediately clasped her hand over afterwards. 

You turned back around. "What did you just say?"

She looked at you for a brief moment then looked down. "I'm leaving." she said, pushing past your shoulder as you hear her footsteps go down the stairs.

You couldn't believe what you just heard, what she said. 'Just cause one of them is interested in me and not you!'. Your best friend in the whole world was acting like she had the biggest ego ever today, and she was practically left blinded by the boys's charms that she pretty much forgot about you now. You shook your head; this wasn't the Yerin that you know. She was sweet, bubbly and kind. Never in a million years would she ever think about leaving you.

But still, her words repeated itself in your mind. Was this true? Was the words that she said true? That your best friend can find a love interest at first sight and sneak a kiss from them on their second meeting, whilst you can't even develop any real feelings for anyone, or in fact, anything? You sniffed. Maybe it was because you were cold and crude, yes. Maybe it was because you weren't the most charming person in the world. Maybe it was because your best friend and everyone else seemed more open and friendly to people, whilst you really weren't. Her words were simple, but they hurt. Even though it could be any of these reasons, for the first time in your life, you actually felt worthless. Worthless like no one would care about you, or like you, or love you. More or less, you felt isolated from the rest of the world. It was like the qualities that you had weren't good enough, and that you, yourself weren't good enough.

A/N: Lengthy chapter. Hope it makes up for the updates I haven't been making a lot :<. Oh, btw, anyone here in London going to Infinite's concert? I'm thinking of going, but it's a week away and I practically have no one to go with b/c my other friend can't go cause she says it's too expensive. So I was wondering if I should just pay for my tickets asap and just go on my own, aha. I'll be a loner. But it's okay, because Woohyun will be there. *starstruck face*. eHheheEHeh. Awuouou.  Meh, that is if I went though.
