The end of the school dance marked the start of November. After that night, Exo became very familiar with Amber. They would wave to her in the hallways and invite her to eat lunch with them on occassion.

"You've been spending a lot of time with Exo lately, hyung." Sulli pouted, resting her chin on the desk. It was currently morning and students were waiting in the classroom for homeroom to begin. The five girls were in their usual seats grouped together at one corner of the room. "Ah that's reminds me! We're getting pizza at the place down the street after school today, and asked if you guys would like to come. They really want to meet you and they're super funny." Amber beamed at the thought of her best friends and new friends also becoming close.

"Tch. No thanks." Krystal scoffed.

"They're not bad guys Krystal." Amber defended.

"Tell that to all my ex's. You know that I'm not very fond of guys. So stop asking." her words stabbed at Amber. Krystal, being popular for her appearance and haughty charm, she attracts many males. In result, she has many guys chasing after her. She hates it; she despises guys for being so easy--despises them for breaking her heart so many times that she eventually blocked them out. All she wants for a guy to be normal when they're around her. And not be like some desperate person or love-sick puppy.

"Sorry, I won't ask again." Amber hung her head down--disappointed that she brought up something painful to her friend. With that, the bell rang for homeroom to begin.

After school, Amber left the classroom by herself in search for Exo. (Her friends had already decided not to come.) Right when walking out into the hallway, shouts of "there's Amber!" and "Amber Noona!" were heard from the down the hall. Tao, the cute panda, was the first to get to her and give her a hug. "Tao. Can't. Breathe."

"Heheh, my bad." He let her go, "But you're just so squishy."

"Me? Squishy? I have more muscle than you." She challenged. And just like that, a dual was mentally being formed in both of their minds. "Another challege I see?" Suho smiled.

"You know it." Amber laughed.

"So where are your friends?" Chen asked, his back leaning against a locker.

"Well, they weren't interested in coming. Sorry guys."

Chen gasped, "What? But I did my hair and everything!" His cool aura quickly vanished, and his true nature showed.

"Sorry Chen Chen." Amber slightly bowed to him.

"Don't mind him Amber. Give your friends space; they're probably not sure about us." Luhan patted Amber's shoulders.

"Yeah..." Amber's mind drifted. She thought about how they've been friends for a long time--always together through thick and thin. They've seen each other's bad sides. A rush of guilt flowed through Amber. "You're so not cool Amber," she mentally scolded herself.

The group walked to the pizza place together with high energy. Being the dorky five year olds at heart, they played "I Spy" on the way there. "I spy something green." it was Kyungsoo's turn.

"Tree!" Xiumin blurted and then punched the air after being correct. Though the oldest in the group, he surely did have his moments of looking like the maknae with his baozi cheeks.

"I spy something red." Baekhyun's sentence had a hint of mischief in them.

"That flower?"

"Nope."

"That car?"

"Nu-uh."

Each person guessed, but got it wrong. "The thing that's red is Chanyeol's cheeks when he walks next to Amber." Baekhyun gave them the answer. Everyone turned to look at Chanyeol who was naturally walked right beside Amber--and yes, his cheeks were definitely red from the blush. "Aww!" they all clapped and patted Chanyeol's back.

"Sorry they're weird." Chanyeol whispered into Amber's ear.

"Nah, it's fine." Amber gave a small chuckle for reassurance.

The group stopped once seeing four girls standing outside the restaurant. Sulli, Victoria, Luna, and Krystal  were all there waiting. "You guysss," Amber ran to them, "What happened to not coming?"

"We talked and agreed that if they're friends with you, we trust that they're not bad people. After all, you sure know how to choose the best friends." Victoria grinned. Amber looked at Krystal who had her eyes set on the ground. Krystal, who was usually so confident and head strong was feeling nervous. "Yah, if they do anything stupid, you better be the first one to stop them." Krystal grumbled. Amber brightened up and scooped all four of them into a group hug. "I love all of you sooo much!"

"You better!" They laughed together. Their friendship grew one hundred times bigger.
