“Well, this is my room…” Kris opened the door to his bedroom.

The room was pretty small but big enough for him. There were guns all over the walls and other weapons that looked dangerous.

“How do you keep this away from your mom?” Tao asked running his hand over the ninja stars.

“I lock this room up when I need to.” Kris answered sitting down on his bed.

“What’s this?” Tao picked up a syringe with red substances in it.

“Nothing.”

“I know it’s not nothing Kris.” Tao sat next to Kris with his back against the headboard.

“It’s nothing babe. I promise.”

“Kris~ Tell me. Now.”

“Fine.” Kris wrapped his arms around Tao’s waist, “When I first started the business I was poisoned on my second mission. I drank a glass of wine thinking it was safe. I should’ve been more careful. I almost died that night. My organs are ruined. I shoot it into my arm when I need it.”

“Kris…” Tao whimpered hugging him.

“I’m fine Tao I swear.” Kris patted Tao’s head.

“Then tell me what this is.” Tao pulled back and grabbed Kris’s wrist.

“Oh this… It’s nothing really this time. This was the past Tao.”

“No. Tell me. It’s not fine this time either.”

“Fine. This was when my dad left my family. I cut myself Tao. I wanted to die.”

“Do you still want to die?”

“No.”

“Tell me more about yourself.” Tao smiled snuggling up to Kris.

“Mhh… 7 people died protecting me. They were like brothers.” Kris sighed.

“I bet they were great people.” Tao smiled.

“Yeah, they really were.”

“Oh! I need to call Kai! He promised he would bring us dinner.” Tao grabbed his phone a dialed Kai.

“H-he-ll-o?”

“Kai! Don’t forget the dinner ok????”

“Yeah don’t worry Tao. Ngh. Babe stop.”

“Kai what the are you doing?”

“I’m busy.”

“Oh hell no you better not be speaking to me when you’re busy doing that.”

“I got to go Tao bye.” Kai hung up.

Kris was laughing his off rolling around in his bed.

“Shut the up Wu Yi Fan.” Tao slapped Kris’s arm.
