Before you had a chance to scream, his other hand covered your mouth.

You could feel him turn and face you, his grip loosening a bit.

'Shh~! I didn't mean to scare you. Please don't scream or run away. I don't want to hurt you. I just wanted to talk to you. I'm going to let go now, ok? Promise you'll listen to me?'

You both stood there in silence for a moment: you trying to decide whether or not it was worth you'd get away from him if you ran.

'Umm...'

'You are just as beautiful as i though you'd be' He muttered under his breath.

'Pardon?'

'Oh! It's no-othing!' He stuttered.

What a creep you thought. It was so dark: how could he tell what i looked like?

Unless he is a stalker?

You scrunched up your face and shook the thought away.

The guy noticed it and took a step away from you.

You looked up questionably.

You swear you could see him smiling in the darkness, 'I'm sorry, this is my fault. Afterall: i was the one who came up to you in the darkness. Its getting late, how about we talk another time.'

'But, you said~'

He had literally vanished into the darkness.

You waited a moment: and the silence continued.

Thinking that he was gone, you ran all the way home.
