There was a long pause: you've never had to make such a decision like this before.

'So you guys would protect me?'

He tilted his head like a confused puppy, 'Fine?'

He clasped your shoulders and kissed your forehead, 'Thankyou! You wont regret it, I promise!'

You placed your hand on your fore-head and he was gone.

You stood there in the dark, damp street: alone.

'I thought they were supposed to protect me...' you muttered aloud.

You turned to see a dark-haired guy with big bright eyes staring back at you.

'Do i know you?'
