Our family doctor came to our house in minutes after he went to the hospital to pick up some files.

We guided him to the unconscious girl and explained her situation and while we were explaining he just listened carefully, nodding his head once in a while. "honestly I can not do anything except give her Tyelenol for her headahe but i can give you advice. I searched through her medical records and read to find out it was actually a miracle she was able to live even after that head trauma and since she is gaining back her memory, she will probably remember the day of the attack as well. When she does remember everything she will be mentally unstable if she has no one comforting her and is only giving her more stress. Lastly, don't push her in gaining her memories or her brain may just shut down for good," the doctor adviced and left 

i sat next to gaeul and held her soft hands. Umma came back in after sending the doctor off

She rested her hand on my left shoulder "Will you pursue her again?" my mother asked 

"yes," i answered immediately 

"Did your feelings rekindle after  you saw her again or did you grieve for her in America as well?" she questioned 

"Both..."

"Honey, your brother..."

"I know, i know she was Yijung's first love. I know how devasted he was for her as she disappeared from the hospital. Despite their younge age, anyone could tell the genuine feelings they had for each other. But Gaeul's mine now. Yijung's dead."

"YIHYUN!!" 

"He left her! He abandoned her! Yes he was in pain after she left but that's all he did for the girl he loved! he only weeped for her! HE NEVER EVEN TRIED LOOKING FOR HER!" 

"YIHYUN!" Umma yelled 

"He then ran to that . Leaving behind his love. While i searched for her for 10 years. I wasted my life searching for her frantically but after I come back to Korea after so years, she suddenly reappears in my life again.”

“Son…”

“I LOVED HER! More than Yijung ever did! My one-sided love was lonely and devastating,” I said as I weeped.

“She was the first one to EVER see my fragile side…see the broken me. She’s the only one that gave me love. You and appa always favored Yijung. Yijung even ended up with the girl and lost her. Now it’s my chance.”

YIJUNG’S POV

I watched everything. I listened to everything

“You seem surprised,” Siyoon said as he randomly appeared by my side again 

"of course. I just found out me and gaeul knew each other before I picked her as my helper"

"no you already knew"

"what?" I asked

"you regained your memory. You remembered what gaeul meant to you in the mortal world, you remembered how traumatized you were after gaeul left which resulted in you losing your memory which led you to Eunchae. You remembered who gaeul was the day you found her crying in the rain...but that's not what surprised you,"

"the what did?"

"finding out your own brother was in love with your first love"

I was quiet 

"I don't know what you're talking about,"

"you know exactly what I'm talking about,"

"no I'm glad things turned this way because hyung can be with gaeul and I can be with Eunchae again,"

siyoon smirked 

i sighed "how did i remember?"

"it was bound to happen sooner or later but your memory triggered after you saw gaeul crying in the rain because when gaeul disappeared you always had nightmares and in that nightmare was chu gaeul crying in the rain...that's how you remembered because you saw your nightmare with your own eyes,"

"you made the rules so that i would pick her. you knew if i chose her then i would have to face the future that i never wanted to endure,"

he was silent as he just stared at gaeul

"Chu Gaeul is one that is pitiful...she lost her parents at the age of 10 because someone murdered them but she always thought they died in a car accident when she was 7....she lived her life thinking she was a different person but when she finds out the ENTIRE truth...the night of her parent's death, the day she ended up in the hospital, the day she was kidnapped and hypnotized, the day she was put in an orphanage and the day she reveals the disgusting details of everything...she will die internally,"

"she was kidnapped and hypnotized?" iasked staring at him 

"look," siyoon said and i turned towards gaeul 

Her body started to glow brightly 

"What's going on?" i asked as i was unsure of the situation

i guess only we could tell she was acting that way because hyung and umma just continued to talk 

all of a sudden gaeul started talking in her sleep

"she's remembering everything. Right now she's telling us what happened,"

GAEUL'S POV

[night of parent's murder]

i woke up hearing the sounds of glass landing on the floor 

i grabbed my teddy bear and cautiously walked up to the door 

i heard more but this time with a scream

i open the door but i was shaking 

"Mama? Papa?" i called out but it was cold and dark 

i walked down the hallway to my parents room

i tried not to look around because i was scared something might pop up 

i arrived in front of my parent's door 

"mama? papa?" i called out carefully as i opened the door 

i screamed loudly as i saw them lying on the floor with blood flowing all over the wood floor

i ran to them 

"UMMA! APPA!" 

but they were already long gone 

"UMMA! APPA!" 

[night of gaeul's attack]

it has been 2 years since my parents died 

i am now 12 years-old 

i live in the mansion all by myself but i'm moving because this house is too big for a 7th grader 

tonight was going to be my last night in here so i decided to look at the entire house one last time 

after i finished looking i ended up in my parents rooms 

i entered cautiously as i remembered the night of their death

i looked around and sat on the dusty bed 

i heard the door open even further and i turned around but saw no one there so i just went back to what i was doing 

i then heard rustling 

"who's there?" i called out as my voice trembled 

i got up immediately 

i grabbed the lamp near my parents bed and ran to the door but it was locked 

before i could slam the door down i felt a strong impact on my head 

i fell the floor with a thud 

i couldn't look up but all i could see were shoes

So yijung's pov

Suddenly gaeul fainted

  my heart started aching and I fell to the floor

"it's time for your decision,"siyoon said as he stood next to me

"what do you mean?"

"i told you, you are going to have to choose which girls' life to save"

"no that can't be now," I said not believing the situation 

Hyung suddenly came in and he ran to gaeul and yelled for umma

She came through the door 

"what's wrong?"

  "gaeul she's burning up" hyung said and umma touched her forehead and her expression darkened

"we need to get her to the hospital,her forehead is burning," umma ordered and suddenly her phone started ringing 

"hello? What Eunchae? Okay bye,"

"what's wrong?"

  "Eunchae got into a car accident and her condition is critical,"

"damn...okay let's get gaeul to the hospital"

No Eunchae...Gaeul

"time is ticking, you have 5 minutes," siyoon said and he disappeared and suddenly I was in the white room and 2 videos were playing

"damn,damn,damn...who do I choose?"

All of a sudden I heard siyoons voice "thank you for choosing," he said

"I didn't choose anyone though!!!" I said panicked
