Everything was dark, it seems like there is no exit in here, the Silence is suffocating, and it’s like a nowhere.

Drop… a water sound was here for a second making the ten years old boy to open his eyes, which was closed tightly afraid to find any red eyes monsters if he open them.

Drop… the sound come back again and again till he was sure that it was raining.

He let out a sigh before sitting on the bed instead of lying position.

It’s just rain, nothing to be afraid of… just rain… he kept mumbling this words over and over trying to make himself believe it.

Then the thunder sound crushes after the lighting which lighten the small room for a few seconds before everything turn black again.

The boy found himself already shaking with the tears tainting his paper-pale cheeks.

He covers his face along with his body under the cover, but he was scared of the dark, of the silent, of the rain, afraid of everything.

He felt like it’s just a matter of time before someone would appear and kill him.

Soon a footsteps was heard, every time the sound would be clearer than before, as if he coming closer and closer.

He put his small palms over his ears mumbling a shaking statements like ‘you are just imagine things…’ ‘There is nothing…’ and ‘I want mommy’

The door opened roughly and a man with red-tears-stain face man, with a shaking body walked in looking in all the directions trying to find his target in the dark.

“b-Baek?” he called with a broking voice and start crying again.

The little boy heard the sound the left the cover from his face, but when he did it everything was white.

The rain stop and who he expected to find also wasn’t there.

Suddenly unclear voices start to reach his ears; he tried to focus on the sounds.

“Is there something wrong? Why isn’t he awake yet” the first voice said.

“Don’t worry, he is just sleeping, he will wake up soon anyway” the second voice replay.

Where am I? Baekhyun asked himself. But he couldn’t find an answer.

He then ignores the voices only to fall in the dark silence once again.

He open his eyes only to meet white again, but this time when he turn his head to the left he saw a window, the Curtains were open allowing the sun light in the room.

He tried to sit, but as soon as he moves his head a headache attacked him making him groan in pain.

“You’re awake? How are you feeling?” a man wearing a while coat say standing next to the bed.

Baekhyun looked at man before giving him a confused look.

“Oh yeah, my name is Minho, I’m the doctor in charge of your case” Minho said.

“d-doctor?” baekhyun asked his voice cracked, maybe because he just wakes up.

“Yeah, you pass out yesterday from a high fever, can I ask you why you were standing in snow storm?”

Pass out? Fever? Snow?  Baekhyun replied the words trying to find the connection between them, and then it hit him…

He didn’t come, that mean I should already giv--

Baekhyun thoughts were cut when a deep voice that he likes was heard.

“doc, I already put as much information as I can but there is a lot of things I don’t know about hi—oh he’s awake” chanyeol stood in the middle of the room the papers that was given to him by the reception lady and his eyes on the boy lying on the bed.

“Well, he is awake you can ask him whatever you don’t know, I will come back later to check on him, he still have a slight fever, so let him rest” Minho said before leaving the room.

As soon as the doctor closed the door an awkward silent fall in the room.

“Baekhyun… right?” chanyeol asked breaking the silent.

Chanyeol want to hit himself for the stupid question, but he couldn’t think of anything right now.

Baekhyun nodded still not believing that chanyeol was really here.

What is he doing here? Baekhyun asked trying to find the answer.

All what he remember is waiting outside of the shop for hours for chanyeol but he never show up, and when he moved to leave he saw him, but then he wake up to find himself here.

Did chanyeol take me here?

“Umm, the hospital need a little information about you, so I need you to answer a few question alright?” chanyeol asked and when he got another nod he move closer and sit on chair next to baekhyun.

Baekhyun heart beat become faster and faster, it’s like the nearest distance since the kiss.

Chanyeol cough a few time trying to get rid of awkwardness before looking at the paper between his hands.

Last night when he was sitting here in the same spot watching baekhyun pale face, his eyes were closed and his lips were part slightly, sometime his eyebrows would cross so he would put his finger between them  to make him relax, but soon it would come back as if he was having a nightmare.

He thought about that night when they kissed, at first he wouldn’t admit that he like it, but now he relies how much he did like this lips.

He also notice how he would always think about the shorter boy, and since the day that baekhyun show up, he would stare at the said boy a lot, he was in denial.

He finally knew why he never told baekhyun that it was a mistake and it would never lead to anything, because he himself didn’t want to hear these words.

Because, he … like baekhyun.

That what he reach from all the thinking he did last night, but he was afraid that baekhyun would hate him after he wake up, after all he did forget him waiting outside till he got a fever and pass out.

“so I write all the things I know which is your name byun baekhyun, I also write your school name and your age which is just like me , that all I know…” chanyeol said and left his eyes from the papers only to be met with another pair of eyes.

But baekhyun looked away almost immediately.

“Let’s just start from the start… name?” chanyeol asked, he knew he got it right but he just want to make sure.

“b-byun baekhyun” baekhyun speak for the first time since chanyeol wake up.

He didn’t know why he is that nervous, usually he would be all noisy, but when chanyeol around he would be all quiet and shy, as if the real him would show up, not the faced that he try to show for everybody.

“Age?”

“17”

“School?”

“SM high”

“Phone number?”

“Family members?” chanyeol asked.

Baekhyun suddenly stiff and didn’t answer.

“Baek? Did you hear me? I said family members?” chanyeol repeat and almost hit his head on the nickname, but it’s look like baekhyun didn’t notice, he was staring at nothing.

“None” baekhyun finally said shortly not wanting to talk in detail.

“Oh!, okay I would just finish the rest” chanyeol said putting everything aside after all, what left is Financial transactions.

When he looked at baekhyun again he found tears falling from his eyes silently while his face didn’t show any kind of feelings.

Chanyeol panicked and didn’t know what he should do.

It must be about the family thing…are his family members dead? Or something bad happen to them?

So without much thinking chanyeol hugged baekhyun, making him burry his head in chanyeol chest.

Baekhyun who was in his past thoughts didn’t notice he was even crying, not in till he felt chanyeol hugging him.

Great, he hates me and I just cry in front of him, now he will hate me even more

Baekhyun tried to break the hug but chanyeol only tighten the hug more.

“It’s okay, cry as much as you can, don’t hold it”

When baekhyun heard this, he couldn’t help but to cry harder, he really needed a hug like this long time ago, when he would be sitting in the corner of the room crying his eyes out, asking why this should be his life.

He hate how as soon as he hear anything about his family the tears would easily flow, he is not a kid anymore, he should stop crying, but he can’t the wound was so deep in his heart, so after all this years it was still fresh and hurt as hell.

Chanyeol could do nothing but to hold the crying boy between his arms afraid that he would break if he let him go.

They stayed like this for away till baekhyun cries finally disappear.

“c-can I ask you something?” baekhyun said.

“Hmmm” chanyeol hummed.

“Why are you here?”

Chanyeol broke the hug and sit on the chair again taking both of baekhyun hands.

“look, I know you may be mad at me or even hate me, for letting you wait out in the cold weather, but I really want to come, something happen made forget about you, so as soon as I remember I run to find you but it was too late… please forgive me” chanyeol said not letting of baekhyun hands.

Baekhyun was speechless, not in a million years he thought he would hear chanyeol said this.

He wanted to come… he don’t hate me

“I would never hate you” baekhyun said, he knew he only knew chanyeol for a small period of time, but he couldn’t help but to feel that he knew chanyeol for a long time.

There was that thing in chanyeol, that make baekhyun heart go crazy and the butterfly in his stomach go wild.

Their eyes met and this time baekhyun didn’t look away, he just stares deeper in chanyeol eyes, and chanyeol did the same thing.

“Baekhyun, I’m really sorry, I know this could be late, but I like you, I really do… I hope you would give me another chance” chanyeol said.

Baekhyun couldn’t believe his ears, is this dream? Is so, he didn’t want to wake up.

“Pabo, you know I like you,” baekhyun finally said smiling.

Is this real? Chanyeol really like him? Maybe the life finally giving him a break.

“How I didn’t notice you all this time?” chanyeol asked.

Baekhyun giggled finally returning to his normal behavior.

“I’m not dreaming, this is the real you, right?” baekhyun asked.

“Yes, it’s me, I finally relies how stupid I am for lying on myself,” chanyeol said smiling at baekhyun.

“Just to make sure…” baekhyun then lean kissing chanyeol on the cheek.

“So, is it real?” chanyeol asked still surprised from baekhyun move.

“Yes” baekhyun said laughing.

“So, byun baekhyun would you be my boyfriend?” chanyeol said tighten his hold on baekhyun hands.

“How can I say no to this handsome face” baekhyun said.

“I will take that as a yes” chanyeol said before locking his lips on baekhyun in a sweet kiss.
