Chanyeol's laptop is open, and he is waiting. Baekhyun is going to be on a radio show alone, and the rapper couldn't help but worry for him; it is when they are together that he felt the safest. Chanyeol knows that Baekhyun would be okay, that he would do a great job and make EXO proud, that isn't what he's worried about. He's more worried about himself; he always feels terribly lonely without the vocalist.

And then something appears on the screen and Chanyeol turns his full attention towards it. The camera shows the host, who's waiting. And then the host begins to speak, but Chanyeol is barely paying attention, until he hears him say something about EXO, and finally Baekhyun. The vocalist's musical laughter reaches his ears and he sighs, relief flooding through him. His eyes are squarely on Baekhyun throughout the entire thing, and Chanyeol's happy that he was at least able to watch this, but wishes that he could have been there with him.

Every time the smaller male says the words yeobo and/or jagiya, Chanyeol could feel his heart melting as he pretends that those words are for him. Near the end, Chanyeol almost turns it off because he can't stand the other's flirting when it's not directed at him, but then Baekhyun looks straight at the camera and he winks. Chanyeol's heart skips a beat because he knows that that was meant for him.

All too soon, but at the same time not soon enough, the radio show draws to a close and Baekhyun exits the studio. Chanyeol sighs happily, the smaller male had indeed done a great job and everything, but he couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of jealousy. He sighs again, a little sadly this time, and leans back against the couch, hoping that Baekhyun would be home soon.

The door opens just as Chanyeol is about to fall asleep. He jumps up and runs to the door just as the smaller male enters, tiptoeing through the minefield of shoes. He pauses when he sees the other and smiles.

"I'm home, Chanyeol-ah…"

"Welcome home, Baekhyun-ah," Chanyeol smiles as well before embracing the other tightly, while inhaling his familiar and sweet scent deeply. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," Baekhyun buries his face into the crook of Chanyeol's shoulder. "Doing this show alone felt terribly lonely…"

"I'm sure," The taller male whispers, rubbing soothing circles into his back. "It's okay, you can rest, you are home and I'm here to take care of you."

"Rest sounds really good right now…"

"Then let's go to bed," Chanyeol says, lifting the smaller male into his arms bridal style. "You can even sleep in my bed."

"Thank you, Chanyeol-ah," Baekhyun replies, leaning his head on to the other's shoulder, and wrapping his arms around his neck. "I'd like that."
