Minhee POV

"What did you say?" I asked, Sehun bringing his head up and made me lay on his chest

"Oppa, what did you say? I couldn't hear you" I pouted, wanting to know what he said. Sehun only chuckled and hugged me tight around the waist

"I said... Let's go on a date" 

"A date? Why all of a sudden..." I lifted my head to look at him. He remained silent and continued to stare straight ahead, onto the TV screen. I pouted my lips but it didn't look like he was going to continue what he was going to say, so I let go of the topic.

Some time passed by and I knew it must be passed midnight already. It was getting boring with what was on right now, so I rested my eyes as I lay on his chest. I was only resting but I felt pressure on top of my head. I carefully looked up at saw Sehun's sleeping face. I smiled to myself and let him be, I didn't want to bother him. As more time passed, I found myself sleeping in Sehun's arms, the TV still on

Sehun POV

"Are you guys planning on doing this everyday?" an annoying voice woke me up. The light was shining right in my face and I groaned because it was only getting on my nerves. I tried moving but I noticed there was a weight on me. I looked down and smiled. Minhee was sleeping there peacefully there on my chest. I could see her face scrunch up as the light was also getting to her and also that annoying voice. Looking up, I saw Kai turning off the TV and looked at me with annoyance written all over his face

"Cause if you are, I'm not going to help you anymore. Suho wants you so you better get up or he'll get pissed" Kai told me. I thanked him and carefully placed Minhee on a pillow and put a blanket around her so she wouldn't get cold. I ran my fingers through her hair and just smiled. I still remember last night... I asked her to marry me, but I just said it a little too soft, she didn't hear me. I could still feel how fast my heart was racing and how nervous I felt at the time. Thank god she didn't hear me. That wasn't the moment I was looking for, it wasn't the perfect time to do it. How would she have reacted if I did ask her? It wasn't romantic enough... what was I thinking?! It was too sudden! Ah, pabo...  I gave a nod to Kai and walked passed him when he stopped me and looked me in the eye

"Did you ask her yet?" he asked in a low whisper. I sighed and nodded, then suddenly Kai's eyes turned bright

"What did she say?! Are you two-"

"I said it too soft... she didn't hear me" I let my shoulders drop and Kai seemed just as disappointed as I was.

"That stinks.. when are you going to ask her again?" that was a question I never thought of. Should I ask her again? So sudden... I should prepare this time, make the atmosphere beautiful, make the scenery stunning... and make this proposal so romantic, that she'll never regret or forget that moment for the rest of her life.

"I was going to take her on a date, do you think..." I looked Kai in the eyes, and I knew we were both thinking the same thing. Smiling, I crushed my brother into a bear hug, thanking him a million times. I ran out the door to find Suho, thinking of how I was going to plan all this. Should I get my brothers to help? Should I ask how my appa did it? Yeah, that sounds good. I smiled like an idiot, there was no way she was going to say no! Lifting two fists in the air, I let out a triumphant scream and then I found myself on the floor. 

I groaned in pain and looked up to see Suho, also on the ground. Immediately, I helped my hyung up, dusting him off

"Minhae hyung, I didn't see you there" I apologized and bowed multiple times

"That's ok, what were you thinking about anyway? You never seemed this excited before. What's going on?" Suho asked, raising a brow. I rubbed the back on my neck, debating to myself to whether or not to tell him. After all, I don't want the whole clan to know that I want to marry Minhee. That'll ruin the surprise!

"I was just uh... planning a perfect date... for Minhee. YOU CAN'T TELL HER THOUGH!" I panicked, making Suho jump in shock. He only chuckled and straightened out his jacket

"Your secret is safe with me, now if you're not busy, I want you to clean our room" and he walked away. I scoffed and opened my mouth to argue but he beat me to it

"You're the maknae! And most of it is your mess anyway, clean it up. Or should I tell Minhee about this 'perfect date' thing?" Suho gave me an eye smile but I knew behind that mask, he was trying to torture me. I groaned and stomped to our room to get started cleaning.

Finally! I finished cleaning and I wasted no time to find my father. I searched everywhere and there was no sign of him. Scratching my head in confusion, I walked around, thinking to myself on how I was going to propose. I sighed, not knowing how all of this would work, if anything would go right. What if she says no? What would I do then? It would be so awkward! Banging of the door could be heard as it echoed through the halls. I looked in that direction and saw my father walking down the hallway, talking to some of the guards we have. Appa saw me approach him and he dismissed who he was talking to only to walk towards me with a warm smile

"Sehun, were you looking for me?" Appa asked and wrapped his arms around my shoulder. I nodded and he led me to his office, where we could talk in private. I remained standing while my father took a seat in his comfortable chair.

"Ah, why are you standing? Take a sit" appa insisted. Following his instructions, I took a seat. Father leaned forward, propping his arms up, resting his elbows on his desk

"So, what did you want to say?"

"How did you propose to mom?"

Today is the day: the day I am going to ask Minhee to marry me. I have everything planned out. I'm going to make a wonderfully prepared dinner for her, and then when the moon is high and bright in the sky and we will go on a stroll out in the garden. After that, I will hold her hand, bend down on one knee and ask her to marry me... it'll be perfect. I know it. And this is when all the flowers are starting to bloom too, it'll be absolutely beautiful!

As I was making sure the dinner was prepared correctly, I told Kai to find Minhee and take her to the dining hall, where we will have our dinner. I was sure that the dinner was perfect and I was waiting for Minhee to show up and I have to say, I was very anxious. My heart was racing and my palms were sweating. I began to get so worried that my eyes turned red, a light shade of red. I couldn't control it! The door creaked open and Minhee's head could be seen. She smiled and I motioned her over to me. 

She was wearing a black, strapless dress that reached her thigh while wearing a light, white jacket to hide her bare shoulders. Her hair was down in loose curls and wore light makeup, looking just perfect. I should know, I picked out her outfit. As for me, I was wearing black dress pants and a plain, white dress shirt. No tie. I tihnk the tie would be a little too much.

"Wow, you look nice!" Minhee walked to me, her heels clicking against the hard, glass ground, smiling at me warmly. I smiled back and also walked towards her so that we met in the middle.

"And you... you look stunning" I honestly complimented her. From the moment she stepped in the room, she took my breath away. What a breath taking view.

"Thank you. So what's all this for?" Minhee asked, looking around the decorated room. 

"Remember when I said we should go on a date, well this is it! Today, you will be treated a princess and you will enjoy this day, I guarantee it"

"Ok, I believe you" and we looked into each other's eyes for a while. I broke contact and motioned for her to sit. Minhee walked over to her seat and I pulled it out slightly, waiting for her to sit. I could see the slight blush rising in her cheeks and as she was sitting down, I pushed the seat back in. Now, that's what a gentleman does. I went back to my seat and our food came out. I took the whole day, trying to perfect our meal and hours trying to find the perfect design to present to Minhee. After many tries, I finally found one I think Minhee would like. 

The main dish came out and Minhee gasped at the sight. It was a simple meat dish with a special sauce drizzled on top. It wasn't much but I tried to make it look pretty fancy. Of course there was some side dishes also. I watched as Minhee took the first bite and waited for her reaction. I was afraid that she wouldn't like it, but I was wrong. Her reaction was the complete opposite. When she took that first bit, her eyes lit up. They were brighter than the stars shining in the clear sky.

"Do you like it?" I asked, making sure that she wasn't putting on an act

"Like it? I'm in love with it! I haven't tasted this good of food since... since forever!" Minhee admitted and continued to eat her food

"I'm glad you like it, I made it" I told her and chuckled when I saw her reaction. She almost choked on her food, well it seemed like it. Minhee looked at me with wide eyes, like she couldn't believe it

"Neh? You made this?" Minhee asked. I nodded and she made an 'o' with her lips.

"Wah~ Sehun this is daebak! I never knew you could cook..."

"Well now you know. Learn something new everyday" we both laughed a bit and I soon started eating too. That evening, we talked and laughed and talked some more... this was turning out better than expected. This is great! When we finished eating, the chefs brought out dessert, which I also prepared

I wanted to move on with the plan, so I suggested that we should go out for a walk while we eat our dessert. Thankfully, Minhee didn't argue and so we did that.

We arrived outside and the air wasn't chilly, but it wasn't too warm. It was the perfect weather to be in. We walked and walked, talked and talked, never running out of things to say. It wasn't boring at all. Minhee always knew how to make things entertaining. I would follow along and have fun with her. Having the time of our life, we both finished our desserts and some of the servants ran and took them out of our hands. Now we were alone. I intertwined our fingers together and we continued walking in silence. Sometimes, I would ask myself, 'Am I doing the right decision?' 'What if she isn't the one for me?'. But I know for sure now... Minhee is the one for me. I never find myself being bored around her. Whenever I hold her, I want to hold her forever. When she leaves my side, I instantly miss her and want to pull her back to me. I would miss her touches when she's not around me.When I kiss her, its like fire works are exploding in my heart... in a good way.

We reached a bench and Minhee suggested that we sit for a while. When we did, immeditately Minhee put her head on my shoulder and we stayed there in comfortable silence. With one hand, I wrapped it around Minhee's waist, bringing her closer to me. The other hand? It was stuck in my pockets, fiddling around with the box that has the ring in it. Now that I was thinking about it, I was growing more nervous, more nervous than I was from the beginning of the day. The feeling from now and from before, are so different because now, it was the time. It was the moment.

I swallowed, feeling my throat become dry. It was now or never. Gathering up my courage, I stood up causing Minhee to look up at me.

"Oppa, wae?" Minhee asked curiously. Hearing her angelic voice doesn't make it better. If anything, it only made it worse. Shaking from head to toe, I bent down on one knee. I stared down below, looking at her feet instead of her face. I couldn't look at her yet.. i didn't have the courage to, so looking below her was the best option

"Oppa, waegurae?" Minhee now sounded worried, but I could hear her voice shake a bit

"Minhee, from the moment I saw you, I knew you were different. I didn't know if it was a good different or a bad different, but that's what only made me grow interest in you. Everyday... everyday I would go and see if you were there, in that spot that you always were in. And sure enough, you were there. When I finally introduced myself to you, I fell for you. No, I actually fell for you before I even knew you. You  could kinda say it was love at first sight. Every moment I got to know you, I fell harder in love with you. I love everything about you: how you are always protective against your brother, how you think of others before yourself, how laughter always brighten up my day, how eyes glitter whenever you see something you like... when you are just being you, everything. From that moment until now, I have loved you and always will love you." After that speech, I took a deep breath and took the box out. Taking another deep breath, I opened it and looked into Minhee's eyes for the first time since I kneeled down

"Minhee, will you marry me?"

"No"

:O no comment ^^ so a whole week off from school! its insane guys! so how was the chapter? Good? Bad? i dont know if i was satisfied with this or not. I feel like its not long enough or even good enough to be called a chapter >< sigh... please tell me what you think!
