Minhee POV

"Do you have everything you need? Pencils? Homework? Lunch?" I asked as I was getting Hyukjin ready for school. I just nodded his head and put his bookbag on

"Neh noona! I have everything! I double checked this morning, don't worry" Hyukjin reassured me. I believed his words but I just wanted to make sure. I fixed his jacket and made sure he was cozy enough

"Arraso! Make sure to call me if you feel sick, and don't catch a cold out there! Where is your hat? And what about your gloves?! Your hands are going to fall off!" I pestered. I couldn't help it! I could not afford my brother to get sick and plus, its just the motherly side of me.

"Noona! I have everything! I'll be going now!" Hyukjin pushed my hands away gently and walked out the door. I smiled softly and watched him leave with his friends whom he'd caught up with. I closed the door and sighed. What to do now? I could wait until Sehun visited me but when would that be? Sighing again, I went to the kitchen. It's been a while since I've cooked something and it's almost noon. I looked in the fridge and frowned. There was nothing to eat! Grabbing the extra money we had in the jar, I went out the door and straight to the store. The jar full of money is only for food, medical and rent emergencies. It was full of envelopes but barely enough money for us. We would always grab just enough money on whatever the need is: no more, but sometimes a little less.

I arrived at the store and I got a cart to seach around. What exactly am I going to make tonight? Since I haven't worked in a while and I didn't get paid, we didn't have a lot of money to spend... so what should I make? Thinking about all the foods I could make with my limited money, I decided on making Juk, rice porridge. Smiling happily with my decision, I went to get the ingredients. Lets see, I already had some rice at home... I need chicken, carrots, garlic and soy sauce. I have the other ingredients at home. As I went to get my things, I noticed that there were quite a few people looking at me weirdly. I had no idea why they were but I never questioned it and went on with my business. As I was picking the which chicked to get, there was suddenly a tug on my sleeve. I looked over and saw a boy with big doe eyes. He reminded me of Luhan a bit, I could see the similarities. I smiled and bent down to his level.

"Annyeong!" I greeted him, giving an eye smile that showed my teeth. He just gasped and ran back to his mother, hiding behind her leg. I just looked at the little boy, wondering what just happened. The child's mother gave me a disapproving look and stalked away. I bit my lower lip and stood back up, getting the chicken I wanted and walked away quickly, avoiding the looks I got from other customers there. That was so embarrassing! Why did that little boy run away? Did I do something wrong? Did I say something wrong? No, I couldn't have said something wrong, all I said was hello! Shaking off that something was wrong, I paid for my things and left. Even when paying my groceries, I still got looks from people around me, including the cashier. The looks I got were utterly shocking. They looked at me like I didn't belong here. It was a small town, so of course everyone knows each other... why would they look at me like that? I haven't done anything wrong...

I got home and started cooking right away. As I was cutting the vegetables and cooking the soup, my thoughts still drifted to the looks people gave me. I still don't understand what was going on, why they looked like that.

"Ah!" I dropped the knife and immediately lifted my finger and put it in my mouth. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to drift away in my thoughts while cooking, I almost cut my finger off. Luckily, it wasn't a major cut.

I finished cooking and poured a bowl for myself and left another bowl for Hyukjin went he gets home.

And it looks like we have enough porridge for dinner too! Good, now I don't have to buy more things at the store. I sat down at the small, wooden table and started to eat. When I finished, I cleaned my bowl and set it on the dry rack. Now unable to do anything, I sat on the couch, staring at the blank TV. I was suppossed to continue work today, but I was already late, might as well not go, which will hurt me financially. I sighed and went to my room, laying on my bed. I touched my pillow and smiled softly to myself. I really missed my bed and my room to be honest. I felt like I haven't been here in years when really, its only been days. I drifted into my own thoughts again and I didn't know how much time passed until I heard a knock at my door. Running downstairs, I opened the door and saw nothing. I furrowed my brows together and looked from left to right and saw someone at the door. Was there really someone at the door? Was this a ding-dong ditch prank? Ugh, kids. I shut the door and turned around, only to have a mini heart attack

"Oh my goodness, when did you get there?" I asked, putting a hand over my heart. Sehun only chuckled and pulled me into his embrace

"Just now... I missed you" he whispered into my hair. I chuckled and pushed him away

"It's only been a day! Scratch that, not even a day!" I told him

"Still! I've missed you every second of the day" Sehun grabbed my hands and intertwined them together, looking deeply in my eyes. I smiled and pecked him on the lips.

"I've missed you too... are you hungry? Did you want to eat something?" I asked him, pulling him to the kitchen. Sehun shook his head and we stopped. I noticed Sehun frowned and pulled me in, cupping my face so that he had a better look

"Minhee..." Sehun started. "Have you looked like this all day?" he asked. I tilted my head to the side 

"What do you mean?" I asked. Was there something on my face? Did I look funny?

"Minhee... your eyes are still red... your fangs are still out. Did you go outside at all today?" Sehun asked ugently. I widened my eyes and touched my face, mainly my mouth. My fangs were indeed out. Was that why everyone was looking at me like that? Oh ...

"Oppa ottokhae! I went to the store earlier!" I started having a panick attack! What's going to happen now? Are the going to report me to the police? Omo, I can't go to jail! Maybe even worse, they contact the scientists and they disect me!! Goodness, might as well faint now. I grabbed onto Sehun's arm for support or my legs will collapse. Good thing that Sehun grabbed my waist just in time

"Minhee?" Sehun called my name and cupped my face with his free hand

"Hey, you ok? Why don't we sit down for a while" he suggested and he brought me to the couch and we sat

We sat there for a while, both of us not talking, just enjoying each other's presence. I was in deep thought, trying to figure out how I'm going to solve this problem. As many questions ran through my mind, Sehun grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him so that my cheek was now on his chest

"Minhee, you should stop worrying. I'm sure they'll only find it weird. They aren't going to do anything. They're stupid humans" Sehun tried to cheer me up but it did nothing. I lightly slapped his chest

"Yah, should I remind you that I was once human and my brother is still human. Are you calling him stupid?" I questioned, looking up at him with a fake angry expression

"Ani! I just meant..." he panicked and didn't know what to say. My angry expression went away and I just kissed his cheek

"Thanks for trying, but these worries just won't go away" I sighed and laid back down on his chest, Sehun carressing my hair

"Don' worry. If you are that paranoid, do you want to stay at the castle?" Sehun asked but I shook my head

"No, I don't want to trouble you guys" I told him honestly. It would be to bothersome to go back again, and not visiting but staying. I was be in debt to them but it doesn't feel right... at least not yet. I would love to go back but living there? It was still a question that needed to be thought over. I need to solve this problem, not run away from it.

"Minhee you know they love you and Hyukjin. Why would it trouble us?" I was about to answer when I realized what time it was. It was already 5 and Hyukjin still hasn't come home yet. Thinking that he went to a friends house, I know he'll come back in time for dinner. Me and Sehun continued our conversation but later on switched to different topics, distracting me from the current situation.

As time passed, it was now 7 and Hyukjin still hasn't come home yet. Surely he would have told me he was going to a friends house. Even if he was eating dinner over there or sleeping over, he would have needed permission from me. This hasn't happened before and I was pacing back and forth from kitchen, Sehun only watching me with hands crossed across his chest

"Minhee, do you want me to look for him?" Sehun suggested but I declined

"Ani oppa. I know he'll come back but I'm worried that's all"

"I can go look really quick if he's ok! I know his scent pretty well, it'll just be really quick-"

"Oppa! ... Arraso, but can you accompany me to the school? Just in case if he's there, then you can look for him ok?" I told him and he nodded in agreement. We walked out into the cold night and went straight to the school. I was stupid enough to forget my gloves and my hands were freezing. Sehun, on the other hand, wasn't cold at all. He was wearing only a light jacket and a beanie. It was freezing but he didn't think so at all. 

"Are you cold?" Sehun asked out of the blue. I didn't need to answer as Sehun took my hands and warmed them up with his warm breath and then took them and stuffed them in his pockets. I smiled at his kindness and now our bodies were close together, his warmth vadiating towards me, making me even warmer. In no time, we arrived at the school and we stopped at the police man who happened the be there

"Excuse me, are the students will studying in there?" I asked him, pointing to the building. He only nodded and stared at me with no emotion whatsoever. I glaned nervously at Sehun and he was staring holes into the guards head

"Do you mind if we go find her brother so we can go home?" Sehun asked and the police man brought his attention to Sehun, and they were now having a stare down. I don't know what Sehun did to make the police man flinch but he agreed and stepped to the side. When we were passing him, he put a hand out, stopping the both of us

"I shall let you find your brother, but I need to you" the said. I frowned but said nothing and we went to look for Hyukjin, with a police man at our side. I went to Hyukjin's classroom and thankfully found him, studying diligently.

"Hyukjin..." I called out his name softly and he looked up with a confused look at first but then turned into a warm smile. He smiled even wider when he saw who was beside me

"Oh noona... HYUNG!" Hyukjin got out of his seat and ran towards us, embracing us in a bear hug.

"What are you doing here?" the question mainly directed at Sehun

"Your sister was worried about you. You never came home" Sehun explained, knealing down to his level

"Ahh, seongsangnim (teacher) told me to stay here and study more!" Hyukjin explained and pointed to the teacher who was now coming down the hall. She stopped and froze when she saw us

"Omo! Guard! What are you doing?! Get her away from my student!!" she yelled and now ran full speed at us, pushing me away from my brother

"Excuse me! But that is my brother there!" I tried arguing but the guard held both my arms behind me tightly and forced me away from Sehun and Hyukjin

"You should let go or else I will tear your limbs apart" Sehun came up to me and the guard, having a hard grip on the guard's arm and squeezed it, causing the policeman to scream out in pain. He released me and Sehun quickly moved me so that noone can touch me

"Hyukjin, come here" Sehun demanded and Hyukjin didn't hesitate to move, but the teacher has a tight grip around him

"Sorry seongsangnim, but we need to take him right now" Sehun told the teacher and tried to step foward but she just yelled

"No! Get away you monster! Hyukjin doesn't need a monster sister like you! Leave or else I'll call the police!" the teacher yelled. I was frozen for words. Looks like everyone knows about me now. Teachers and kids from different classrooms peeked out of their room to get a look at what was happening. There was already enough problems at the moment, I don't need more! 

"Sehun, we need to get out of here!" I urgently said

"Dammit..." Sehun cursed and as fast as lightning, he scooped Hyukjin in his arms and we ran out of that place. Right when we got out of the building, we heard police sirens and people screaming and a wild crowd appeared. I looked around, frightened

"Sehun, if you don't mind, we need to get-"

"-to the castle, got it!" Sehun then placed me in his arms too, along with Hyukjin and he went in the air, trying to get away from here as fast as possible. Something took hold of Sehun's foot, bringing us all down and landed hard on the ground

"..." Sehun cursed again, punching the ground. He was the one who got up the fastest, grabbing Hyukjin first

"Minhee!" Sehun yelled and held his hand out. I wasted no time to take it, but I felt myself being dragged away from them

"Minhee!"

"Noona!"

In a blink of an eye, Sehun and Hyukjin was nowhere in sight and in front of me were a bunch of police men, aiming their weapon at me. I couldn't do anything but put my hands in the air in defeat.

Sehun, get Hyukjin out of here first

I told Sehun, through telepathy

NO! I'm not leaving without you! I'm coming to rescue you now

Sehun replied, but I just turned my head to the ground as I was being held up by police men and they hand-cuffed me

Sehun please, if you don't leave now, they'll get you too... please

I begged. There was no response from Sehun for a while so I assumed that he did what I wanted. They hauled me into the big police car, guards everywhere I looked, people with yelling with fury. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared right now. I purely terrified. I've never been this scared before in my life.

Fine... I'm coming back to get you, wait for me

I heard Sehun's voice again. I looked out the barred window and saw Sehun's figure in the air, heading to where the castle was... where it would be safe. I hid a releaved smile and looked down, sobbing silently to myself. What's going to happen to me now?
