Minhee POV

I sat down at a long table. The room was dark and only one light was shining down on the table. Sungyeol was sitting across from me with his hands folded together. Kai was on the side, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed against his chest, watching us. I gulped and fiddled with my fingers. Sungyeol hasn't said anything yet, only looked at me which made me quite uncomforatble. Noticing my discomfort, Sungyeol cleared his throat and leaned forward, his elbows resting on the table.

"Minhee-ah, I don't want to make you stressed, so I need you to relax, but... I still need you to tell me everything you know. Do you understand?" Sungyeol asked. I nodded my head and waited for him to continue

"Alright, first question. What was happening in that room?" Sungyeol asked. I furrowed my eyebrows together. How was I supposed to answer that?! This was going to be a long answer...

"Hyung, I think that's too vague of a question" Kai interrupted

"Is that so..." Sungyeol then leaned back in his chair

"Arraso... then, who was in that room with you?" he asked

"Me, Sehun, Hyosung, Suho... their parents and..." I stopped there. Sungyeol noticed how quiet I was and his lips formed into a straight line

"Who else was there?" he asked. I hesitated on answering but then I thought... maybe they will help get them out of that room.. but who was there exactly?

"Uhm... I think her name was Sooyoung..." Sungyeol jumped in his chair and no was interested in what I had to say. As he jumped, that made me jump also

"Did... Did you say Sooyoung?" Sungyeol asked in disbelief. I nodded my head and kept my head low. Was that something I wasn't supposed to say?

"Hyung..." Kai interruped once again. Sungyeol nodded and cleared his throat, leaning back in his chair, trying to look more relaxed when really he wasn't.

"I'm sorry, continue. Who else was there?" Sungyeol urged

"Sooyoung... and I don't know who the other man was... I think it was Kai's father's father... if that makes sense..." I tried to explain. Sungyeol then looked confused. He probably didn't know I meant... Aish! This is also confusing me!

"Kris' father..." Sungyeol talked to himself. I nodded and stayed quiet once agian. Sungyeol nodded his head and clasped his hands together, leaning his forehead against them.

"Tell me Minhee... tell me what happened from the very beginning" Sungyeol persisted

"From the beginning? Where do I begin?" I asked. Where do I start telling him?

"Doesn't matter, before Sooyoug or Kris' father shows up... there"

"There.... alright well..." as I started to tell my story, Sungyeol and Kai were both listening intently. Kai started moving closer to the table and Sungyeol was leaning further and further in. As I finished, which took quite some time since Sungyeol kept telling me to stop so he could let all the information sink in, it was quiet. I just sat there while Kai and Sungyeol were in deep thought. Sungyeol let out a frustrated sigh and stood up. I also stood up from panick and kept standing until he told me what to do

"Alright... Kai, I want you to watch over Minhee. Make sure her wound is clean and make sure that no one is to harm her arraso?" sungyeol ordered. Kai nodded and gently took my arm and I followed him out.

"Kai where are we going?" I asked him when we reached out of Sungyeol's hearing range. He didn't respond but sped up his speed and I had no choice but to catch up with him. When we got to a bedroom, he locked the door and turned to face me.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked around. It looked like a bedroom but I couldn't be for sure

"This is where me and my brother's sleep. Don't worry, you're face here. No intruder can get in. This is one of the most safest place to be" Kai gave me a reassuring smile. I nodded and thanked him

"No problem Minhee... no, sit on the bed while I get something to clean up your neck" Kai announced and then left off to somewhere still in the bedroom. I sat on the bed as he instructed and touched my beck. I almost forgot about my neck... it really did hurt but it was fading bit by bit. Kai soon reappeared with a bucket and a towel, just like Hyosung. He then sat on the side of the bed and sat next to me. Gently, he tilted my head and dabbed the towel on my neck. To be honest, it didn't sting like last time. Now it was kind of refreshing.. like it was normal now

"So you know don't you..." Kai suddenly said

"Know what?" I asked back. He tapped the spot where it hurt the most and then realized what he meant. I hummed in response

"What do you think about it?" he asked. I just shrugged my shoulders

"I don't really know... should it be a good or bad thing?"

"I guess it depends. Are you ok with being a vampire now? Or would you rather stay as a human?" Kai asked. I thought for a moment. I have no idea. Would I be more happy as a vampire? But I've never tried being a vampire, so this could be a good change. A change for the better. I was about to open my mouth to answer him when suddenly banging could be heard. On instinct, Kai jumped up and stood protectively infront of me. Releasing his fangs, he slowly walked towards the door. That person still banged on the door and it seemed like that person won't stop anytime soon.

"Who's there?!" Kai demanded an answer. The banging stopped and a small voice could be heard

"Hyung!" I heard Hyukjin's voice which sounded alarmed. Kai let out a relief sigh and quickly opened the door, revealing Hyukjin and the rest of Kai's brothers excluding Sehun and Suho. They all quickly got in and Kai locked the door again. Hyukjin ran to me and ran into my arms

"Noona!" Hyukjin cried

"What's wrong Hyukjin?" I asked in a soft voice, carressing his hair lovingly and comfortingly

"I'm scared..." Hyukjin admitted and he looked up, tears filled his eyes yet not a single tear dropped onto his cheek

"It's ok Hyukjin, you're here now, safe with me!" I gave him a reassuring smile. Usually, Hyukjin would smile back but this time he didn't. He just stared at me. He had a confused look on his face and it was fulled with curiosity. I lifted a brow

"What?" I asked him. Hyukjin blinked twice and opened his mouth

"Noona... you... vampire..." Hyukjin now realized. I quickly covered my face with my hair and gave a nervous laugh

"H-Hyukjin! I don't know what you are talking about! I-I'm not a vampire! You're thinking too much!" I continued to laugh nervously but this act wasn't working him.. not Hyukjin. He was too smart for that

"Noona! Don't lie to me! You're a vampire aren't you!" Hyukjin raised his voice causing Kai and the rest of them to look up. I looked at them and made eye contact with Kai. There was no emotion in his eyes, but it was like he was telling me to go by my instincts. I bit my lower lip and looked back down at Hyukjin. He didn't look mad, yet he didn't look excited either. What does it matter now? I can't change back...

"Mhmm, I'm a vampire Hyukjin-ah. Mianhae..." I told him. The frown that was on his face turned into a smile... a wide smile. The biggest smile I've ever seen him smile

"Wah~! Noona's a vampire!!! YESSSS!" Hyukjin cheered and screamed, leaving my arms and jumped everywhere. I was flabbergasted by his reaction but I couldn't ask for anything else. I just smiled along and watched him celebrate. I noticed a few stares coming from Chanyeol and DO. I looked at them and they were watching me closely, almost like observing me.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked him. They stared a little longer and both of them shook their heads

"Are you really a vampire now?" Chanyeol asked cluelessly. Kai smacked the back of his head and Chanyeol whined

"Duh she's a vampire! Can't you tell from her energy level?" Kai scolded Chanyeol for knowing the basics. I laughed and looked around the room. Come to think of it... I don't see Baekhyun. I pulled on DO's arm and he looked at me with those big orbs

"Uhm... where is Baekhyun?" I asked him

"Baekhyun hyung? He's with Sungyeol, trying to figure something out. Since Suho is getting treated, Baekhyun is now the one in charge of us... oh!" DO suddenly thought of something important. Turning serious, he faced Kai and Chanyeol who were bickering over the tiniest things. I only watched in wonder, having Hyukjin now by my side.

"Kai... let me out" DO commanded but Kai only gave him a weird look.

"There is no way I'm letting you out of this room" Kai said with a stern voice. DO, who was now getting irritated, kept urging

"Jongin! You don't understand! Don't you remember?! The cameras..." then Kai got what he meant. With a nod of his head, all 3 of them opened the door and stormed out. Not knowing what to do, I grabbed Hyukjin's hand tightly and quickly followed them. Luckily, Chanyeol came back and with a goofy smile he lead us to wherever they are heading

"Sorry, follow me!" Chanyeol said I just nodded, following him. Within a few minutes, we arrived in a room with a bunch of screens, showing the different rooms that are held within the castle. I stood beside Chanyeol since that was the wisest thing to do. Kai, DO, Baekhyun and Sungyeol were in a very serious conversation. I bent down and pulled Hyukjin closer to me

"Hyukjin-ah," I tried being a soft as I could, not be a nuisance

"Don't run around or anything. Behave ok?" I told him. Hyukjin nodded and put a finger over his mouth signaling that he will be quiet. I smiled and patted his head and got back up

We were there for quite some time but we never complained. During that time, they had brought up the main camera for that room. It was quite a mess. I'm assuming a fight happened in there after me and Suho left. There was a huge mess everywhere! If I looked closely, I could see some bruises here and there on all of their faces. I gulped when I saw Sehun's more cut up face. I regret leaving him by himself now... oh how I wish I was with him right now.

"Sungyeol~!" Hana came rushing into the door. We all looked at her and she had a victorious smile plastered on her face

"Check the cameras now! We made a spell... or well we found a spell in the book that will help us get Hyosung, Sehun, Kris and ~~~~~ out safely... at least we hope it will get them out safely..." Hana said shyly but proudly. Sungyeol let out a sigh of relief and hand a hand on her shoulder

"Thank you Hana... thank you. Work on the spell immediately... make sure that they get out a live and safely" Sungyeol commanded. Hana nodded with a smile on her face and left. Hearing her news, my heart started to race. Sehun might be able to come out safely... thank god! Now being able to relax, I could put all thoughts to rest. We all looked to the camera and saw something start to happen. Nothing happened at first, but then, a mysterious smoke started to appear. Kris's father and Sooyoung seemed completely shocked and so did Sehun and his parents... but not Hyosung. She knew exactly what was happening. I could see her smirk, but it was faint so it wasn't that noticable. The smoke then started to thicker and thicked by the moment. We could all see Kris's father starting to curse, but we couldn't hear it since there was no sound. Now we couldn't see anything since the fog was too thick.

"Sungyeol!" someone came rushing in through the door. We all looked at the door and that person had a victorious smile plastered on his face

"We got the door open!" he exclaimed.

"Get them out. NOW!" Sungyeol yelled. That person nodded and ran away to tell them. We looked back on the screen but couldn't see anything still. I started to get anxious so I ran out and went back to where everyone was

"Minhee!" Kai yelled after me but I didn't stop. I needed to make sure that Sehun made it out safely. I ran and ran until I finally reached my destination. I grinned when I saw Hyosung, safely making it out. Sehun's parents were there also but I couldn't see Sehun yet. My heart raced when I searched around for a familiar face but he was nowhere to be spotted. I got closer and closer to them but still no sight of Sehun.

"Minhee get away from the door" Hyosung warned and power walked towards me. I looked behind me and noticed that the door was still open. My eyes widened in shock

"Minhee!" I heard that familiar voice. I turned back around and saw Sehun.... he was safe and now was running towards me. The racing of my heart finally returned to its normal beat. I smiled as I saw him. I looked into his eyes. He was purely happy but then his eyes showed fear and panic. He ran faster towards me. I started to get confused

"MINHEE!!!" He screamed. Before I could answer him, a pair of hands wrapped around my neck and something sharp touched the skin of my throat. In defense, I pulled my hands up and tried preventing that person from choking me

"Another step forward... and I'll kill her"

I've been working on a short story for English and its been taking up all my time >< but luckily, I based my short story off of Forbidden Love and good news! I've turned Forbidden Love into a one-shot ^^ so I hope you all read that and enjoy it :) haha
