Prologue
UnbreakableFebruary 2013, Wednesday 11.15 P.M
The night had almost reached its peak, every peaceful soul were drifting off to a dreamland where everything’s so blessed yet unreal no less. Nights could be a perfect time for the longing souls of God’s mercy, praying in gracious silence. On the other hand, night as serene as it was, would be the busiest time for nocturnal creatures, striving with its ultrasonic sound and echolocation sense to survive. And for the unfortunate one, the nights would be another dreadful time which forces them to keep their sense alive from all the senseless beating.
Grimacing painfully as she felt her lower jaw throbbing, the girl with barely decent and blood tainted garment strived to stand on her feet. The blood has been dripping down from her swollen lips. She brought her shaking hand to wipe the blood off her lower face. It felt warm, the blood was still warm. It’s just as warm as a cup of chocolate milk her late mother usually made her. The thought of her mother was then clouding her already troubled mind. Oh how she missed her being here, to hold and sooth her. And father, would have been there to protect her and tell that everything’s going to be fine as green as pine, he always said. That was if the airplane crash around the South China Sea a year and half ago never happened and had her father passed away.
A blow on her head brought her back to a reality there and then. A middle aged man has swung his filthy hand over the skinny girl’s top that made her head whipped to the left, leaving her an unbearable pain from stitched skin above her right temple she got from the cut he caused her two days ago. Tears agonizingly slipped through her red cheeks, she was in so much pain.
