Chanyeol's POV:

"Hey whats up bro?", asked Jae Ho on the other end of the line.

"Hey....I have a problem.", I told him straightaway. "Remember how I promised Ji Yeon that I will not be in a relationship til' exams are over? I think I might break it.", I confessed.

"Woah, woah, woah. Who's this girl you're talking about?", Jae Ho asked.

"Well.... It all started out like this...", I then told him the whole story.

"My advice is to definitely not go for her. I mean a promise is a promise. And Ji Yeon has never broke her promises before so you shouldn't. And can you imagine how mad she would be even though she says that she will not be but she will clearly be?", said Jae Ho.

"Wow, you know her so well. Okay fine I'll do whatever you just said."

 Jae Ho's POV:

Sigh I'm gonna call Ji Yeon and tell her whatever that has happened.

"Hey, Ji Yeon. How long are you gonna plan to keep up with those feelings you have for him?" I asked her.

"I really don't know.  I'm afraid that if I tell him, our relationship will get worse.", Ji Yeon answered feeling insecure.

"Well, you better do something about it soon. He is starting to fall for that new girl you pitied on.", I confessed.

"MWOH???. No way. But I think I should see how all of these goes first tomorrow. Is he even planning to tell me or ask her out?", she asked, freaking out.

"Well... at the meantime, I don't think he is planning to tell you but whether he'll ask her out or not.. I'm not sure. It seems really serious and he might not be able to control his feelings."

"Ji Yeon, are you there? I'm so sorry I even told you. I should have not."

"Don't worry about it. I'll see how everything goes first. And if one day it gets really serious, I don't think I'll be able to control my feelings too.", Ji Yeon said calmly.

"I'll eventually tell him how I feel one day.", she added again.

"Okay, you do that. Should I just hang up and give you some time?", I asked, worried.

"Yeah you should. Thanks Jae Ho for telling me about it.", she said.

I then hung up.

Ji Yeon's POV:

"Why does this always happen to me. Why am I being friendzoned. When am I ever gonna tell him how I feel? If I tell him, will it spoil our relationship? I guess it will.", I sighed.

I'm still very upset about what Jae Ho told me. I mean how can he never see  in me but some other girl, who just came to school a few days ago?? This is so unfair.

But I can't help it if he likes her, can I? 

After so much of thinking, I finally fell asleep. 

I woke up the next morning and got ready for school. Chanyeol was at my doorstep, ready to walk with me to school.

"Yo, ready for school? I'm so excited today!", he said jumping up and down.

I wanted to laugh but then I realized that he's never been this happy for school before.

"You. School. Happy?", I asked.

"Yeah, very. Is it that weird of me to be happy? I mean c'mon I'm the happy virus.", he replied.

"But you were never happy for school. Like you always whine in the morning and begged if we can skip school.", I said curiously.

"Sigh, you got me there. Fine, I'm just gonna say it. I knew I can't keep anything from you.", he said, eye-smiling me.

"What is it?", I asked, already knowing the answer to it. 

Then he told me the whole story. I just didn't say anything.

"Ji Yeon, are you mad? I'm sorry. I know we made a promise. I won't ask her out for now I swear."

"Chanyeol, its not that.", I said.

"Then what are you mad about?", he asked, worried.

"Ani, its nothing. Lets just forget about it.", I said while faking a smile.

Both of us walked to school without saying a word to each other.
