“Good evening,” she shyly said.

“G-good evening,” I stuttered. Wow she looked really cute.

“Is Hyukjae there?” she asked. Ouch. Why was someone this pretty looking for my cousin?

“He’s uhm, he’s just upstairs—“

“Hi there, miss gorgeous!” Kangin suddenly greeted behind me “I’m Kangin! What’s your name?”

This guy! Always had a way with girls! On the other hand, there I stood, feeling all shy and quite awkward.

“I’m Sora,” she casually replied. Then she turned her attention back to me “you must be Hyukjae’s cousin?”

“Y-yes,” I stuttered again “I’m Leete—er, Jungsoo.” I smiled awkwardly.

“Sora?” came my cousin’s voice from the top of the staircase.

“Hi Hyukjae!” she waved at him with a smile. There’s that dimple again!

“What’re you doing here?” Hyuk asked when he reached the door.

“I’m returning the book I borrowed last week,” she cutely said as she handed the thick book to my cousin “I’m sorry I just finished it last night,”

“You read all of this!?” Kangin looked utterly surprised “what’s wrong with you!?”

“I could’ve finished it a few days earlier if I wasn’t hospitalized,” she gave Kangin a cold smile “anyways, there’s nothing wrong with reading the whole Advanced Calculus book.”

“That’s a red flag, right there” Kangin whispered to me.

“Sora would you like to stay and have something to drink for a while?” Hyuk offered when he noticed the awkward atmosphere “it’s cold out.”

“Oh, okay” she said “I’ll have a pineapple juice,”

We ushered her to the receiving area. It was a relief that we haven’t messed up the place yet or it will be embarrassing to the pretty girl. I went after Hyukjae to the kitchen to get the pineapple juice for Sora.

“Who is she?” I immediately asked Hyuk.

“Ahh…” he smiled oddly at me “interested?”

“Hey hey I’m not like that!” I protested “I’m just curious!”

“She’s my classmate,” Hyuk said “she’s Donghae’s seatmate in Calculus class. We became friends when she borrowed my thick scary book!”

“She seems nice,” I said as I absentmindedly poured the pineapple juice to a tall glass on the counter.

“Sora’s really nice,” Hyuk nodded “but she takes education a bit way too seriously. There’s nothing wrong with that, don’t get me wrong.”

We brought the juice back to the receiving area. She was reading the book again and Kangin was watching the television. She smiled when we entered the room. I smiled back.

“Hyung, you both have cute dimples!” Hyukjae exclaimed. Kangin glared.
