For the rest of the day, as Hyunjoong lay beside Youngsaeng, he stayed wide awake.

"Only those who have drank my blood can kill."

He grit his teeth. I'm the only one who has drank his blood. That means I'm the only one who can kill him. But I can't kill him... How can I? How can I kill someone I love and treasure so dearly? I can't...

"Hyunjoong, are you awake?" Youngsaeng quiet murmur came from beside him.

He nodded and turned to face the cute boy, wrapping his arms around the latter. He brought the boy close to him, burying his nose into the crook of the boy's neck, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. All of a sudden, he felt Youngsaeng's body trembling and heard sniffling. He quickly pulled away and looked at Youngsaeng.

"Saengie, why are you crying?" he asked kissing both the boy's eyes.

"T-Taemin... H-He was r-right..." the boy hiccupped quietly.

"Right? Right about what?"

"I-I am a murderer... I killed them... I... Th-they died be-because o-of me," Youngsaeng managed through his sobs.

Hyunjoong hugged him tightly again. "No, Saengie. You're not a murderer."

"I'm scared," Youngsaeng cried, tears flowing out incontrollably. "I'm so scared. I-I don't want to be a murderer. I don't want to kill anymore." He clutched onto Hyunjoong's shirt and brought it up to his face, muffling his sobs.

"You're not a murderer, Youngsaeng," Hyunjoong said, his voice stern and strong. "You're definitely not a murderer. You didn't mean it at all."

"I'm scared... Please Hyunjoong, just kill me now. Please... I don't want to kill anymore. I don't want to become the nine-tailed fox. I don't want to... hurt anyone... Please, just kill me. Kill me..."

"No, I can't kill you, Youngsaeng," the older boy growled, bringing him closer into a tighter hug, squeezing his arms around the shaking boy. "I definitely won't kill you. I'll save you somehow."

"Are you sure? You'll find way?" the boy whimpered as he pulled away, looking deep into Hyunjoong's eyes to search for doubt but his lover's feelings were pure.

"Yes, I will," Hyunjoong said with a smile as he connected their lips softly. "I promise."
