Taehyung woke up that day only to find an empty spot beside him. It was another morning in their house, few days after they came back to Korea and Suga’s health was making Taehyung worry even more. Last night, he stayed up all night because Suga kept vomiting and of course, he couldn’t just sleep, right. He stepped out from his room only to find Hyungjin in his baby-seat and Mrs. Kim who was cooking for his breakfast. “Ahjumma, where are the others?” he asked then lift Hyungjin, “Good morning, baby-boy!”

“Good morning, Dad!”

“Oh, Master Kim. The kids are going to school already while Mr. Kim is going to his office. And the kids also said that they’ll be on Jungmin’s house after school.”

Suga is going to the office? Isn’t he feeling unwell?

A worry once again grew in Taehyung’s heart. He felt so worried toward Suga these days, especially since the day they were in Japan. He didn’t even know why he should feel worried. It just… Saw those hurt expression of him make him feel weird. Then an idea popped in to his mind. Today, he would make himself closer to Suga. He would completely erase any bad memories—that only he who feel that—between them. Because he couldn’t back. So try to learn how to love, and found out while the future Taehyung love Suga wouldn’t hurt, would it?

The twins would be in Jimin’s place, so let’s not worried about them. As for Hyungjin… Guess Jeongguk’s place would the best. So Taehyung went to his room to take his phone and dialed Jeongguk’s number. “Jeongguk-ah. This is Hyung. Do you by any chance free today?”

The maknae was laughing on the other line, “Why Hyung? Do you want to ask me out for a date?”

“No. But are you free?”

“I am always free. Why, Hyung? Want to go to the fortune teller again? You better drag Hoseok Hyung along if you do.”

“Can you please take care of Hyungjin today? I’ll be out until night, probably, or maybe tomorrow along with Yoongi. The twins are in Jimin’s place. Please, pretty please?”

“Okay, just take him to my house. But don’t blame me if I teach him read okay? He’s in the age of reading, isn’t it?”

Read? Oh, yes, Hyungjin was three.

“Too early, to be honest. But feel free to teach him so. I’ll be there in around an hour, maybe?”

“Sure Hyung.”

“Thanks a lot, maknae!”

With that, he hung up the phone and texted Suga before he took a bath.

To: Yoongi~

Yoongi. Are you busy after lunch time today?

Just when he came back from the bathroom, his phone rang as Suga called him. He received the call with a hand as his other hand was drying his hair, “Hello, Yoongi?”

“Hello, baby. I’m free after lunch since there are no many jobs these day. Why?”

“Just want to take you out for a uhm—“ How to say it. How to say it. “Date?”

He could hear Suga’s soft laugh from the other line, “Why so sudden?”

“Well, I know you’re a bit unwell lately. Guess it was because of hmm stress? Just want to loosen your stress~~~ Will you go on a date with me today?”

“How about a no?”

“No?”

There was a slight disappointment in his word.

“Just kidding, of course I will! You’re going to come here?”

“Sure. Lunch time.”

There was a slight of excitement in his words.

“Okay. It’s a deal then babe,” He said as he held the phone for a while. Taehyung could hear that he was talking to someone now. “Sorry, your noona is calling. I must be in a meeting now, will be done before lunch. See you on lunch, okay? I love you.”

Taehyung hung up as he looked around his room. When he was empty from his schedule, he felt like the wife since Suga was working on his company. He went out from his room and Mrs. Kim was feeding Hyungjin. “Ahjumma, I will take Hyungjin to Jeongguk’s place today, so you can go home faster today,” he said to Mrs. Kim.

The woman just nodded, “Yes, Master. He is done already with his breakfast. You haven’t take any breakfast, do you want me to make you toast?”

“There’s no need, Ahjumma. I’m not that hungry. Beside, I’ve promised to Jeongguk to take him soon. I’ll be going now. Thank you, Ahjumma,”he refused politely. To be honest, he was really hungry since it was like 10AM and he hadn’t eat anything yet. But he didn’t feel like eating breakfast that not made from Suga’s hand. He didn’t even know why he acted that way, since he was not a picky-eater. Probably because he was used already with the taste of the foods. 

Taehyung put Hyungjin on his baby-car-seat as he drove to Jeongguk’s place. And again, thanks to GPS. He would be lost now if it wasn’t because of it. He arrived in 30 minutes. Jeongguk opened the door with big smile, “Hello, Hyungjin! It has been a while~~ Hi, Hyung.”

“Hello, Jeongguk. Are you sure it’s not troubling you to take care of him?”

Jeongguk shook his head, “Of course no. Even if until tomorrow. Jin Hyung has been nagging a lot lately to see Hyungjin,” he said then looked at Taehyung as he grinned widely, “You’re going to take Yoongi Hyung for a date aren’t you?”

“Yes. If I can’t back, I may as well learn how to love.”

“You can do it, Hyung. He was so easy to love~ Fighting!”

Then a figure appeared from inside of the house, Jin. “Oh, Hello Taehyung! And Baby Hyungjin! What’s with sudden visit?”

“I want to put Hyungjin here because—“

“Hyung is going to ask Yoongi Hyung for a date,” Jeongguk cut off Taehyung’s sentence.

Jin grinned after he hears his ‘wife’’s sentence, “Oooh, I see~~ Enjoy your date, your baby is save with me. But don’t forget that we are going to have family gathering the day after tomorrow,” he said.

Seeing Jin with Jeongguk, Taehyung supposed to feel betrayed and heart-broken. But it was weird, since today, he didn’t feel it at all. His love for Jin felt different, it was more like a… brother. He gave Hyungjin to the couple who was staying at home today and left for Suga’s office. Arrived there, he put on his glasses, It was time for V, he thought as he walked in to the office. All employee bowed to him, of course, he was one of the owner since it was his family’s office.

“Yah! Kim Taehyung!”

He heard someone yelled his name, the voice that he was familiar with. He turned around and found his sister was waving to him with files on her hands, “Oh, Soobin Noona. How’s life?” he greeted her in his usual way.

“It was great. Looking for Yoongi? He is still in meeting room with some people, just wait for him in his room. You know it, right? Beside the room that Dad used to use. And Taehyung, you should bring Yoongi to hospital, he looked so pale. I’ll be going now, Bye,” Soobin said as she left Taehyung to somewhere.

Was he okay?

Taehyung silently thankful to Soobin since she explained the way to Suga’s room. He walked around the lobby to find lift as he observed the office. Nothing much changed after 15 years. He could remember it clearly, how he liked to running around the lobby, pushing every button in lift, and visit his dad many times a week when he was younger. Younger meant younger than 18 years old, not 33. Now he missed his Dad, the one that passed away because of him.

I am a bad son.

That thought was running on his mind as he entered the office and pressed 10. Then a voice called his name, “Taehyung Baby.”

Not her, please.

He turned around and his thought become true, it was Sora. Even himself had no idea in what was that girl doing in the office. “Don’t call me that name.”

“You like it when I call you that name.”

“Liked,” he corrected as he look straightly to the lift’s room, clearly refused to see Sora. “Why are you here?”

“Can’t I? I got a feeling that you’re going to come here today, and I guess I am just right.”

 Taehyung scoffed, “You better go home if you just come here for it. And can you stop appear in my life.”

“You know, why don’t we make it clear?” Sora asked, “Let’s make a deal. Give  me right to meet the twins and I’ll stop bugging you.”

Again, Taehyung scoffed as he looked at Sora. “Are you kidding me? No I will never give you that right to meet them. You’re the one who dumped them. Why do you want to claim something that you once dumped? If you want this matter to go in law, go on. It’s what you want, right? So you’ll be on allkpop and all infotainment and your name is going to rise again.”

“Taehyung—“

“But I will not let you to use MY twins for fame.”

“Taehyung, listen. I am sorry. I regret all the things that I did to you, I regret it a lot. I just want to hear my own kids call me mom, it’s my right. But I understand, maybe I’m that bad in your brain and it’s true too, anyway. My career is dropping now and I need something to make myself on spotlight. But if you think that I will stop, no, I won’t. I will destroy you again, worse than before, until you won’t be able to rise again. Just give me my right and I will stop threatening you.”

No, even if it means I become public-trash, and I lost all my jobs. I will never stop protecting my kids from woman like you.

“No.”

“I really mean it, Kim Taehyung. And is it a sin for a mom to meet her kids? I’ve said sorry to you—“

Ting!

Taehyung stepped out of the lift as he said a farewell to Sora, “I hope we don’t meet each other again. In the future, probably, I will tell the kids about you, including how you dumped them. And I will let them call you mom and visit you—“ He stopped for a while, making Sora’ face lit up, “In your dream.”

Then Taehyung walked straightly to Suga’s room. He did a right thing again, didn’t he? He just wanted his new family like this, only him and Suga. Without twins knew their ‘real’ mom. He went in to the office only to find it empty.

Suga was probably still in meeting room, like Noona said.

He travelled around the not-so-big office room. His eyes looked at his desk, there were few pictures on it. His graduation picture with Jin and Namjoon. Taehyung smiled at that pict, three of them were great friends, even though he sure that Jin and Suga’s relationship was a bit awkward after Taehyung dated Jin. Then he looked at their wedding picture, and the last but not least, their family picture. He never saw the family picture before. It was in Jeju island, judging from the scene. In the picture, he was kissing Suga’s cheek while the older was holding Hyungjin, and The twins were making heart-sign.

This is a perfect family.

Then he looked at Suga’s name on the desk, Kim Yoongi. It sounded weird at first, but the name felt so right. Kim Yoongi. Taehyung kept looking at the name as he read it again and again, he liked the name. It sounded weird but felt so right.

“Taehyung?”

A voice called him as he turned around only to find Suga with few files on his hands. “Hey, Yoongi. I’ve been waiting you for a while,” he greeted as he observed Suga’s face, it looked a bit pale, “Are you sure it is okay for us to date? We can cancel it and go to doctor instead, you look pale.”

“I am okay, dear.”

“Okay then, I’ve brought your clothes to change in the car. Let’s go, I’m starving,” Taehyung said as he put his arm on Suga’s shoulder and led him out from the office. He found it weird at first time he did skinship with him, but this time, it just felt so right, how his hand wrapped his shoulder perfectly.

Taehyung drove his car to a restaurant that they visited during his birthday and ordered some food. “Please tell me if you think you can’t do this anymore, okay? We can always do this next time.”

Suga nodded. “I am okay, you shouldn’t be concerned that much.”

They both enjoyed the date as Taehyung did many skinship like put his arm around Suga’s shoulder, or hugged him, and interwined their hand. Well, Taehyung was king of skin-ship since he was younger. And doing skin-ship with Suga, it just felt right. Now, they were in movie cinema, was about to watch the movie that Suga chose for them. Before the movie start, Taehyung gave him a box.

“Military necklace?” Suga said once he opened the box.

“Yeah,” Taehyung responded as he showed his armor that was on his neck. “You don’t like it?”

“I do like it, everything that you gave me,” he said then looked at him, “But why Military Necklace?”

Taehyung silent for a moment, thought about the most cheesy answer that he could give to him. To be honest, he bought armor and named it with their name because he thought armor looked manlier than couple ring or necklace. Then he found a great cheesy reason, “A military won’t ever take off the necklace until the end. For me, this necklace is the smaller version of armor, since I can’t give you an armor. Armor—or military necklace in our case—and Military, both can’t be separated and always together. And I hope my love and you can’t be separated and always together as well.”

Little did he knew, he really mean it.

After the movie was over, they were just walking around with ice cream on their hands. Then suddenly, Taehyung’s phone rang, Hoseok was calling. He excused himself for a while, “Hello Hyung. What happened?”

“Do you know how to calm a girl that was crying?”

“Of course no. You’re the one that married with girl, how come you don’t know.”

“My wife never cry. You’re an actor, just give me a line of your drama or movie.”

“HYUNG! How come you ask me something like that, you know my condition right now, don’t you? Beside, you’re known as the ‘j-hope the heart-rob’ in high-school, you should know that.”

“Oops. I’m forget. Sorry for ruining ‘the date’. Bye!”

Hoseok hung up the call and Taehyung just sighed. That Hyung of him, it probably his excuse to disturb him. Wait, why did he felt a bit upset? He didn’t do a date with someone that he loved with his heart—at least now—so why should he feel upset? Taehyung just shrugged before came back to Suga who was palming his mouth. “Yoongi, what happen?”

“Can we go to doctor like… now?”

Taehyung nodded as he bent down, signaling Suga to get on his back. He couldn’t let a sick person walk. Even if he still hated him, he would do the same. Suga got on his back as Taehyung piggy-back him to their car. Suga wasn’t heavy, and it just felt right to have him on his back. Then he drove Suga to the hospital as Suga said he already had a schedule with his doctor tonight.

“You’re four weeks pregnant. It’ll be your second biological child, right?”

Taehyung shocked at the statement the doctor just said. The doctor was their family’s doctor and he was one of few doctor that could handle ‘gay-pregnancy’ problem. Back to the problem, Suga was pregnant, and it was (obviously) Taehyung’s child. He couldn’t say a thing, it was the first time he heard that he was a father announcement. And he somehow felt happy.

After that, they decided to pick the kids and went home. When they arrived, Taehyung told Suga to had a rest while he was going to be the one that informed the kid.

“Kids, from now on, you guys should treat mom better, okay? You’re going to have another sibling~”

And guess the respond of the twin, since Hyungjin was too young to understand.

“I HOPE IT IS A BOY! I WILL TEACH HIM HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL!”

“NO! IT MUST BE A GIRL~ HYUNGJIN IS A BOY!”

And it ended with a loud scream from both of them as they ran to their mom’s room, “MOM!!”

Suga who just took a bath seemed a bit shock when he found his kids—exclude Hyungjin who was sleeping already—were in his room with happy face. Hyejung ran and hugged his waist, “Mom! I am going to have a sister?”

“Yah, Kim Hyejung! Who said that it’ll be a girl?” Jungshin protested from aback.

“ME!”

The parents just laughed and Suga gave the kids a smile, “No one know whether it’s a girl or boy. But girl or boy, you guys are going to love your new sibling, right?”

“YES!”

“Nah, Now, go to your room. It’s getting late and Mom needs to rest. Good night, kids!” Taehyung said as he led the kids to their own room and went back to his room after that. Suga was laying on the bed as he read a book. “What are you reading?”

“Book.”

“I know. What kind of book?”

Suga looked at the cover again, “A novel about a happy family,” he said as he closed it, “I don’t even know why I still read it when I already have one.”

Taehyung smiled as he joined Suga on the bed, “Maybe we should write our own family book,” he suggested then he had an urge to pulled Suga on his embrace, so he just did it.

“I want to sleep~”

“Go sleep~”

“I can’t sleep if I’m on your embrace~”

“Why? Isn’t it comfortable?”

“I usually sleep with you on my embrace~”

Taehyung froze. He never sleep on anyone’s embrace before. Well, on his mom was an exception, but he never did it again since elementary school. But he just obeyed, he leaned his head on Suga’s arm as the older wrapped him on his embrace. It felt weird at first, to be on a person that he used to hate’s embrace. But again, it felt so right.

Everything sounded weird, but it felt so right. To be with you. Guess I would success, wouldn’t I?
