The Lost Time
“Why did you lie? Do you… hate me?”
Taehyung shook his head as Suga left the room. He looked at his best-friends, he didn’t know what to do. Should he chase him?
“If you still hate him, go tell him and break the marriage now. You have a chance, you know? Because I know the old you will never think about the baby,” Jimin said the matter of fact. Yes, the old Taehyung would never think about anyone else before him.
Jeongguk pat his shoulder and smiled, “But Hyung,” he said, “Yes, it is your chance to get out from Yoongi Hyung. But think again. Even though you didn’t feel it, think about what Yoongi Hyung did to you. And also think about what you already did for the family. Last but the very important one, think about the twins.”
“Taehyung-ah. I won’t tell you what to do, because I believe you have the answer already, deep inside your heart,” Hoseok said, “I have questions for you, but just answer it by yourself, in your heart.”
“Go on, Hyung.”
“Will you be okay without him?”
No.
“Will your life became as wonderful as now without him?”
No.
“Will you like it, when you find an empty sheet every morning?”
No.
“Will you be able to life knowing that you just let go of the half of your life?”

He found it. Taehyung found what was deep inside his heart, his feelings for Suga. He needed him for survive. He wouldn’t be okay without him. His life wouldn’t be as wonderful as now. He wouldn’t like it, knowing he would find an empty sheet. And…

He couldn’t life peacefully without him. He realized it just now, how his smiles make him feel better. How he had an urge to keep him safe on his embrace. How he changed him. How he always greeted him every morning. And how he loved him.
“Take care of my children. I will go catch him.”
Taehyung bid goodbye to his friends and parents before drove his car away to search Suga. After quiet a while, he found him on a park near their house. He approached him, and before he could say a thing, Suga said, “You probably didn’t know. But Taehyung kissed me for the first time here. It’s also the place where he confessed to me.”
“No. Taehyung first time kissed you in the school hall,” Taehyung corrected, “But like him, I also have something to confess.”
“Do you want to let go of my hand? You don’t even love me. You are the kid Taehyung who hates me with all of your hearts.”
Taehyung didn’t reply for a while. He stared at Suga’s teary eyes. He knew that Suga was ready with his decision, in case he decided to leave. But how could he leave him? “You know. I fell to a deep hole. It is so deep and I can’t climb back. But when I was about to giving up, a hand helped me to get up. And now, I am standing here. Do you want to take my hand?”
“Taehyung-ah…”
The younger then pulled him to a tight hug as tears rolled on his cheeks. Really, Taehyung didn’t want him to leave. Not when he was fall with him. Not when he was ready to have this happy family with him. “Let’s go back to our home. I will explain you everything.”
Suga agreed to go home with him and they headed to their house. They sat on the couch and Taehyung pulled Suga to sat on his lap. At first, Suga insisted, but Taehyung was stronger so Suga stayed on his lap. “Yeah, like you know, I am a kid Taehyung. The childish, careless, selfish one.”
“Why did you here? Where is the future Taehyung?”
“I don’t know,” he shrugged, “It’s all started when I made a swear that I would rather lose 15 years of my life if I kissed you. Then right on my birthday, I tripped on my own shoelace and fall, which accidentally kissed your lips. And ta-dah, I’m here.”
“Do you hate me, now?”
Taehyung eyed him before get up and play music. “Let’s have a dance.”

Suddenly the song stopped.
“It’s midnight,” Taehyung said as he stopped dancing and holding both of Suga’s hands.
Suga nodded then looked at the younger guy, “Today is our wedding anniversary. It has been years since I am together with the future of you. And few days since I am together with you. Thank you.”
Then the song played again.

“Kim Yoongi. I love you. I love you. I only look at you,” Taehyung confessed as he looked deeply on Suga’s eyes. “Do you want to love me? Do you want to love me? Do you want to only look at me?”
“Taehyung-ah…”
“I know I used to hate you. But you changed my mind. You are now an important piece of me that I can’t life without. I love you.”
“You are being different for better these days. And it makes me feel loved and in love with you more. I love you too.”
Taehyung then leaned his face closer Suga. But when they nose were touched already, and they lips just centimeters away, Suga slipped his fingers between their lips which made Taehyung looked at them confused. What happened? “If you kiss me, does it mean you will lose another 15 years of your life?”
His words made Taehyung softened. Suga was afraid to lose him, and same went to him.
“Even if I lose another 15 years on my life. Even if I will be in 2049, you are still going to be with me, right? You won’t leave me in 15 years, right?”
“No.”
With that, Taehyung gently pressed his lips on Suga’s lips. “I love you.”
