                Jiaheng lie upon the bed, his eyes still burned with the fresh tears that still lingered. His nose was running and his throat ached. This house was so empty without him. The hole in his chest wouldn’t mend. He was broken. Like a swan that had lost its life partner, he wanted to die.

                He turned his head over, looking back at the photograph upon the mantel. His smile still lingered in his memory, but every once in a while it seemed to fade, and he needed to remind himself of the face of the man he once loved. Every time he did, he tore open the old wound, and a fresh wave of depression would sweep over him.

                How could he move on? He didn’t know how. His first and only love was gone. It happened so quickly too. What could he do? He closed his eyes, and wished for the impossible. That he could hold him, just one more time.
