Remember when you watched those Korean dramas, about youngsters hating each other, and then their parents forced them into marriage? Well, typical story everywhere. I've always thought those as stupid and unoriginal. I never knew that one day, the same plot will twist my life, and in the blink on eye, my once normal life will become melodramatic.

Shinkyu and Jiyong have known each other since they were sleeping in their cradles as babies, on account of their parents being business partners. Kwon-Ly Share Holdings was the most powerful company of the Korean business empire. Therefore, Shinkyu and Jiyong were treated like royalty with privileges everywhere. Even after knowing each other for at least 18 years, the two hated each other a lot, and their parents' efforts of enrolling them in the same schools didn't help either.

When the company suffered financially one day, their parents had no choice. Never would Shinkyu or Jiyong ever expect that there will be a day when their lives would be just like the drama series.

Even after they were married, they fell for some one else. Just when life proved to be impossible to be shared by them, will they really follow the plot of a typical drama, and fall in love?

Characters:

Ly Shinkyu
Shinkyu was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Ly, co-owners of Kwon-Ly Share Holdings. Her childhood companions were Jiyong and Kyuhyun, which contributed to her tomboyish behaviours. She was very brave, and she promised herself she would not cry, ever since the faithful event back when she was still a child. At the age of 19, Shinkyu was taking the same classes as Jiyong and Kyuhyun, who were both 3 years older than her. This was why she usually teases Jiyong when he ocassionally did badly. Her best friend was Ga-eul, who was the complete opposite of herself. She was also good friends with Sohee, her maid. Out of Jiyong's four right-hand men who were sent to 'protect' her, she was the closest with Seungri.

Kwon Jiyong
Jiyong was the only son of Mr and Mrs Kwon, founders of Kwon-Ly Share Holdings. He had known Shinkyu and Kyuhyun ever since they were all very young, but over the years he had since shielded himself away from them. He disliked competitions, and would gladly cheat to achieve what he wanted. Although Shinkyu usually accused him of being a jerk because of his attitude, he actually has a soft spot to those who he was close with. His online username was PrinceOfYourHeart, and he was in love with his anonymous online friend, PianoPrincess. Jiyong didn't hesitate to show his hatred towards Kyuhyun, who he was once 'brothers' with. His main intention to marry Shinkyu was actually to spite Kyuhyun.

Cho Kyuhyun
Kyuhyun's family might not be as rich as Jiyong's, but he was definitely more gentlemanly. He was childhood friends with Jiyong and Shinkyu but he left to study in the US when he was 12. He later enrolled in the same university as the two, much to Jiyong's distress. Ever since young, he had feelings for Shinkyu, and once he intended to confess to her, but Jiyong came and he didn't have the chance to. Kyuhyun was very protective of Shinkyu, and when he knew about Jiyong's plan to 'destroy' her, he used it as a way to make sure Jiyong would never hurt Shinkyu.

Jiyong's right hand men::~
-TOP (Seunghyun)
He was the oldest in the gang, and the only one whom was respected by Jiyong. He was the least seen around Shinkyu. But although he seemed to be cold towards her, he actually did care about her as a younger sister.

-Taeyang (Youngbae)
About a few months older than Jiyong, known as the sensible one. He was worried about his height, which he thought to be too short for a guy, though he only told this to Shinkyu. He was shy around girls, except Shinkyu, who sometimes called him 'hyung'.

-Daesung
Always telling the gang to be gentle and kind to others, much to Jiyong's annoyance. When he smiled, girls around him melted. Due to him being friendly with girls, he was sometimes accused of being a playboy. Highly obsessed with Doraemon, and thus earning him the nickname 'Dora-freak' from Shinkyu.

-Seungri
The maknae of the group; a funny and cute kid. He tended to say things without thinking first which made Jiyong angry at him. He was very sweet natured, and was seen around Shinkyu the most. Appointed as Shinkyu's tutor when her grades fell. Due to his good looks, he was always hiding in empty classrooms and janitor closets, and usually it was Shinkyu who saved him. Once or twice, he was scolded by Shinkyu for being stupidly loyal to Jiyong and too easily manipulated, but he just told her it was because he wanted to tag around her, hinting that he might have a crush on Shinkyu, though not heavily suggested.

Kyuhyun's right hand men
-Sungmin, Siwon, Ryeowook and Donghae (Not frequently mentioned in the story)

Lee Ga-eul
Ga-eul was the typical mother-ish best friend whom Shinkyu thought to be Mrs Ly's personal spy to make sure the princess behaved well. She liked to be optimistic about everything, even if she was scared on the inside. She came from an average family, and she liked cooking. Ga-eul prioritized cleanliness, and would sometimes be called 'hygiene-freak' by Shinkyu. She had a very 'pure' heart, and would easily cry when she heard vulgar words.

Mr and Mrs Ly
Shinkyu's parents. They owned Kwon-Ly Share Holdings along with Mr and Mrs Kwon.

Jiyong's parents and founders of Kwon-Ly Share Holdings.

Sohee
Shinkyu's trusted maid. But when everything unfortunate that bestowed Shinkyu had something to do with her, was Sohee really who she seemed to be?

Others who made appearance throughout the story are casted under minors and guest stars.
