“YES!!! C’MON FASTER BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE ” Seungri ushered but when we rush out  I saw Jay looking at me

 

“What’s wrong ? ” He ask and Seungri rush to get his car .

 

“Oppa , JiYong Oppa … he’s … dying …” I manage to choke out and he shakes his head muttering “ no.. no..”

 

“ I have to see him , oppa , pls send me to the hospital ” I almost beg but when I saw his face , I regret what I just said .

 

He’s mad…

 

Really mad…

 

“No , He broke your heart and now you’re gonna run back to him ? He’s gonna die anyway , why do you care ? ” He yell and I was shocked because Ive never seen this side of him and his question hit me .

 

Why do I still care ?

“ You love him don’t you ? ” Jay ask and I look at him helplessly .

 

“ Then , go …” Jay sigh and give me a slight push

 

I turn around to look at him but he just look away .

 

“Oppa…”

 

“I SAID GO !! I don’t like to see a girl I love being with a person that she doesn’t love ! ”

 

“No.. Oppa..”

 

“Just… Go… Please… J-JiYong needs… you .. ”

 

I gave up …

 

I tried to pat him on the shoulder but he just flinch and throw the car keys on the floor. I pick the keys up and walked to his car , unlock it and when I was going to start it I saw Seungri waving his arm like crazy

 

“ I’LL TAKE U THERE !! HOP ON !! ”

 

Without hesitation , I open Seungri’s car door and we drove away .

The ride to the hospital was quiet because I just look out the window and think of all the things we went through .

 

JiYong never kisses me because he has aids …

 

JiYong never shares food with me because he has aids …

 

Aids kills…

 

Which means …

 

JiYong is gonna die…

 

Tears unknowingly stream down my face and Seungri passes me the tissue box .

 

“hhhh…J-Ji…hhh .. why .. didn’t u guys tell me ..?!” I choke out and Seungri said “JiYong wouldn’t let us, he said he would tell u himself …”

 

“But .. He didn’t ..hhh” I cried and Seungri said “ JiYong kissed and had with Kiko just to affect his sickness on her ”

 

“hhhh… Why ?” I ask dumbly

 

“ U remember telling JiYong how u hated KiKo and wanted to kill her ? ”

 

That answers everything…

 

I finally knew…

 

“ Is there anything else he’s hiding from me ? ”

 

There was a slight pause before Seungri open his mouth and spill out something that gave me the shock of my life

 

“ JiYong had decided to end his life today evening around 7-8 with those syringe and could send death immediately , he said he have nothing left anymore why not just die without any worries …”

 

“ DID YOU STOP HIM ?! ”

 

I nearly yelled hoping to get the answer I’m dying for right now but the hope was crush when I hear his answer

 

“ No … If that’s what he really wants I shouldn’t stop him..”

 

No…

 

No…

 

No…

 

“ What time is it ? ” I manage to ask

 

“ It’s 7pm sharp now ..”

 

Everything was a blur now ..

 

My ears are block …

 

I cant feel my heartbeat …

 

My stomach feels like it’s been thrown off the 18^th floor…

 

My legs are jelly…

 

“ Drive faster .. Please.. Im begging you…”

Author’s POV

 

JiYong was flipping thru his phone photos as he stare at the first photo taken with his ChaeRin he cant help but smile sadly at it .

 

‘ where the hell is Seungri ? ’ JiYong thought and the door swings open revealing a nurse holding bowl with a syringe inside .

 

“ Are you sure of your choice ? Do you want me to inject it for you ? ” the nurse ask sweetly

 

“ Ah… just leave it here , I wanna do it myself ” JiYong said and the nurse retreated out of the room

 

He close his eyes for a brief moment before picking up the syringe .

 

He point it to his arm and when he was going to jab it in the door burst open and reveals someone he had been hiding from all these months .

 

“ C-Chae…”

 

ChaeRin was infront of him , her hair all messed up , she was panting and tears were falling non stop .

 

JiYong’s heart ache when he saw her in this state ‘ .. This is what you’ve done … Just die …’ the little voice inside scolded him

 

“ G-Go away ..” He muttered and acted cold towards her

 

“ No… Oppa .. stop ,please , just stop .. ” She pleaded and he kept quiet

 

“Is this why you left me ? ” She ask and he shakes his head

 

“ No , I left you because I don’t love you anymore , go back to your new goody-good boyfriend ” He lied , but it was for her own good

 

Silence cut thru them ..

 

 

 

 

 

“hh..Liar…” ChaeRin said shaking her head

 

“You’re still wearing that ring … ”  ChaeRin said choking on her tears, pointing to his hand which he was trying to hide them from her

 

That made JiYong speechless …

 

Eventhought his eyes look cold , a fragile JiYong hidden inside of it

 

ChaeRin ran over and hug him tightly when on the other hand , JiYong was trying hard not to give in ‘ChaeRin… Ive hurt u so much… and u still want to stay with me ’ JiYong thought and bit his lip.

 

“I wanna stay with you because u hurt me for a reason … ” She said as thought she could read his mind

 

“Im so sorry , oppa , I should’ve know , I shouldn’t have scold u refuse to kiss me or share things with me ,Im so stupid ”

 

She said , using one of JiYong’s hands to slap her own head

 

“I know what’s behind those cold eyes , please don’t hide it… Tell me … Tell me everything …Please…” She cried on his neck hoping he would hug her back and start spilling words but he didn’t instead he maintain frozen.

 

“ I…I… I still l-love you … I’ve always love..you , even thought you are going to die one day ,just let me spent the rest of your remaining days with you …” She started to spill first and the words hit JiYong hard.

 

‘I cant believe it , Ive hurt her so much but she still loves me.. ’ That was the only thing running thru JiYong’s mind .

 

The whole fact made JiYong’s cold side melted away almost quickly , he hugged her back immediately when he felt her started to pull away .

 

“I…I don’t want to die ..”

 

He said soaking ChaeRin’s shoulder with his tears , ChaeRin hug him back and rub his back soothing him down .

 

“ Go On.. Spill .. Tell me what are u feeling .. Tell me everything …” ChaeRin whisper and she could feel him choking on his own tears.

 

“ Don’t ever .. leave me .. please .. I beg you …”

 

The syringe he was holding has dropped onto the floor and rolled towards the door . The nurse squated down ,open the door quietly and pick up the syringe before giving Seungri a nod and throwing a secret smile at the couple hugging and crying in the ward .
