“I can’t wait to arrive at Jeju!” shouts Jiyoung

Aeri was drag by Jiyoung to go for a small trip that their professor invited. Aeri didn’t want to go at first because of piles of work she have but she just couldn’t resist it when Jiyoung starts doing cute talks to her. She also had to leave Hyuk even so it was only for 4 days.

“Is everyone here?” Professor Choi said

“YEAH!” everyone synch

Aeri put down her bag and sighed “I really have a lot of work”

“This trip will be fun!” Jiyoung trying to cheer Aeri up

Aeri blow her fringe “But there’s nothing in Jeju”

Jiyoung gasp “What now?” Aeri said with a low tone

“You don’t like the beach?”

Aeri let out a heavy sighed “I love the beach”

“Then you’ll enjoy it cos there’s me!”

They both entered the KTX (Korean train express) and settle down on seats which have a table between them. Aeri put up her bag in the small cupboard above them and slump back down on her seat.

Aeri then pull out her notepad, Jiyoung sighed

“Really Aeri?”

Aeri didn’t even look up to Jiyoung “I gotta finish this piece”

“But it is a holiday” Jiyoung pouts

Aeri tuck her hair behind her ear “You can continue talking to me” she smiled

“Fine, I’ll sleep!” She turns to look outside the window

Suddenly,

“Is someone sitting here?” a voice asked

Jiyoung turned to look “ah no-“ she then suddenly loudly gasp

Aeri look up to her this time “What?”

Jiyoung points to the person, Aeri turn to look

Then she saw the person that would make her entire day so much worse, Ravi.

“What are you doing here?!” She stood up

Ravi snorts “Sorry I am going for a trip”

“I guess you’re in the wrong coach because this is our coach” she said it so fast with a lot of tension

Professor Choi claps her hand to get attention,

“I forgot to tell you the boys from Seoul Arts are joining us today” she smiled

Aeri turn and stare back at Ravi “There’s a lot of other places”

But when she look around the other places are occupied and they both are the only girls that have empty seats.

“You found seats yet?” another voice said

Ravi scratch his head “I don’t know”

The person turn to Jiyoung “Can we sit here?”

Jiyoung gave a look to Aeri

Aeri just stare out of the window, Jiyoung then just nodded

The whole ride was like hell to Aeri and Ravi. They both didn’t expect to meet each other, and especially sitting beside each other inside the KTX. Jiyoung had fun though. Ravi’s frined, WooSung, was quite chatter and make the tension loosen up a bit.

The ride was long after Aeri finish her piece she put her notepad away and stretched. She turn to her left and saw that Ravi was facing his back to her. She didn’t care and just turn to face the window and lean her head on the seat.

“So close yet so far” she whispers

She hugged herself and think that it’ll be a fun ride if them both were still together. Suddenly her phone rang.

She slide her hand in the pocket and pick it up to answer “Hello?”

“Noona!” It was Hyuk

Aeri smiled after hearing his voice “Oh, hyuk”

Ravi overheard.

“Are you there yet?” Hyuk asked

Aeri laughs “oh not yet”

“Okay then! Don’t forget to buy me souvenirs okay?!”

“I promise that” Aeri softly said

“Have fun noona!” Hyuk’s voice was loud and cheerful

“I will, I’ll talk to you later tonight. Bye” she end the call and put her phone back into her pocket

Jiyoung then lean front “Was it Hyukie?”

“Yeah” Aeri smiled

“He must have missed you already” Jiyoung nodded

Ravi then stood up,

“What’s wrong?” Woosung asked

Ravi sighed “I need to go wash my face”

Woosung then point towards the toilet sign “It’s over there”

“Thanks” he left

Jiyoung and Aeri exchange eye contact

“Do you think he??”

“No I don’t” Aeri firmly said it

I have come to my senses to ended it as fast as possible to focus on my studies more!
