Few days later, Hyuk always be there whenever Aeri finish her classes. He would send her back home or probably treat her for dinner first. There is never a day at all he will not be there for her.

“Don’t you have basketball practice?”

Hyuk walked beside her while flipping through her note pad “it starts at 5”

“but it’s 4.15, you wouldn’t make it in time” Aeri was concerned about him

Hyuk closed the book and hugged it “I am the captain” he smirked

Aeri then stops

“why what’s wrong?” Hyuk asked

Aeri pulled his arm “Let’s go to school”

“But I need to send you home” Hyuk growls

“It’s okay, I have no class tomorrow”

They both then arrived at school at exactly 5 o’clock.

A girl then walk towards them, she looks really angry “SANGHUK!!!” she shouts

Aeri and Hyuk just frozed in front of the door

“You’re late!... AGAIN!” She said

“pft.. I am on time okay” Hyuk talks back

“But you’re not in your clothes” She glared at him

Hyuk sigh “Can’t you just give me a break, I am on time today okay? It’s not like you are going to play for the school team”

Hyuk gave his school bag to Aeri and then drag his feet to the changing room.

“Oh I am so sorry for shouting just now” the girl apologised to Aeri

Aeri smiled “its okay”

“Are you his girlfriend?” She asked

Aeri eyes widen “…” she was just speechless

“Ah you must be. No wonder he’s always late” She smiled

“I am the team manager, hyunyun” She puts out her hands for Aeri to shake

“Aeri, Jung Aeri-” Aeri shook her hand

Hyunyun then gasp “THE JUNG AERI OF THIS SCHOOL?”

Aeri awkwardly nodded

“You used to date Ravi the ex captain and now you’re dating Hyuk? Wow!” she just blurt it out

Aeri softly laugh “No… not really”

“It’s okay” Hyunyun tapped her back

Aeri was totally confused

The whole evening Aeri was watching Hyuk practicing with his team and recalls back the time when everyday Ravi had practice she stays to watch him practice. She just sighed. She knows she badly miss Ravi but he never came to see her at all.

The team then had a break, Hyuk walks toward her with sweat all over him.

“Eww, don’t come close” Aeri laughs

Hyuk jokingly wanted to throw his towel at her, he laughed

She suddenly gasped, she remembered that Ravi did it to her before. She just stare down at her feet like she was in a trauma.

“Are you okay?” Hyuk asked

Aeri nodded and smiled

Hyuk took out a bottle for his bag that was on her lap. He squat down to face her

“You look pale” He look at her with worried

“I am just tired” she smiles

“Oh! It Jung Aeri noona!” one of the boys said

The team then quickly noticed her.

“You’re dating her now Hyuk?” one of the boys asked

“So lucky to date a very pretty senior” another boy said

Hyuk just suddenly blushed. He turned around and throw his towel at them.

“Let’s practice everyone!” He shouts

After the practice end,

In front of Aeri’s house

“Thanks for being there today” Hyuk said

“I don’t mind” Aeri smiled

Hyuk then gives back her notepad “here you go”

“Thanks” Aeri said

Hyuk scratch his hair “Tomorrow is Saturday… so…”

“You want to go out?” Aeri smirked

Hyuk nodded

“Sure, I have no class tomorrow” 

Hyuk waves to her then suddenly remembered “I don’t have your phone number”

Aeri looks down to her feet “I don’t have a phone”

Hyuk then took his bag behind him and it. Aeri just stare at what he was doing. He took out his phone and gave it to her.

“W-why are you giving me your Iphone?!” Aeri asked

Hyuk smiled “I have another phone at home. Don’t worry”

“But what if your friend calls you?”

“That is a new phone. They usually calls me from my Samsung” He reassured her

Aeri nodded “thanks?”

He giggled “I’ll call you” he bid goodbye

She waves and smiled at him

He walked away but then he turns back and quickly walk back to her. He lean down and kiss her forehead. Aeri blushed

“Goodnight” Hyuk softly smiled

Hyuk then waves back again and walk away. He then slowly disappeared into the darkness. Aeri still stood there. She touched her forehead and slightly blushed.

“So this is why?”

Suddenly a voice approached her

“Ravi” she softly mumbles

He then appeared in front of her “This is why you’re mad”

“No!” Aeri said

Ravi just face palmed “Then what Aeri, you know those pictures are edited at least!”

Aeri then step back in a shock. She shook her head; she just felt regret and she also felt a bit scared at that time. She falls down on her .

Ravi then threw the pictures on the floor “Look my head is cropped”

Aeri stared down at the pictures “why”

“There’s white lines, and they’re really obvious!”

Aeri then took one of the picture “Why you’re lying”

Ravi smirked “What?”

“There was no white lines when I first got it, I remember the pictures well Ravi!” She stood up

“How could you be so sure?”

Aeri tears rolled down “I look at the picture again and again and again okay!”

“You could’ve mista-“

“There’s no MISTAKE!” she screams

She then cried and fall back down on her knees “Why are you lying to me now”

Her tears drop on the pictures

Ravi didn’t like what he seeing right now. He felt bad for everything that happens, he want to turn back time and erase all the things he did. Ravi slowly walk to her, he wanted to hug her.

But when he was about to, someone grab his arm.

“Don’t” Hyuk glared at Ravi

“Let go!” Ravi pushed his hand away

“stay away from her” Hyuk warned him

Ravi smirked “I am her boyfriend”

Hyuk laughs “What kind of boyfriend are you making the girl cry?”

“No Hyuk stop, I’m okay” Aeri hold his trousers

Ravi saw her doing it and just backed away “So it means this is the end”

Aeri eyes widen with the sudden confession. She wanted to say something but her whole body was just trembling.

“Let’s break up Aeri” He turned and walked away

Aeri cry and she just can’t stop it. Hyuk bend down and hugged her.

“It’s okay” Hyuk said to her

“Unnie?!” Kairi shouted, she walked down to both of them

“Hyuk sunbaenim! What are you doing here?” Kairi asked

“It’s a long story” Hyuk softly smiled
