He couldn’t do it. He couldn’t kiss her. It didn’t seem right to take that special moment away from her, when they haven’t even gone on their first date. That is, if she says yes. Donghae slowly pulled his head away from her, opening his eyes but still holding her waist, keeping her close. Yuri fluttered her eyes opened and looked up at him.They stared into each other's eyes deeply.

“Would you like to go out with me? Tomorrow?"

The sudden question shocked Yuri. Her surprised expression caused Donghae to think she didn't feel the same way. His pride and hope faltered. He quickly let her go and took a step back.

"Im sorry, I was being so straight forward. That actually never happens" Donghae rambled "I mean if you dont want to its ok and I really hope you and I dont become awkward after this and again I'm --"

Yuri silenced him by grabbing his cheeks with her left hand and squeezing them, making his lips pout like a fish.

"Yes"

Donghae stared at a smiling Yuri, his thoughts still processing. He finally broke from Yuri's grip and smiled the widest smile in his life, it actually felt like his cheeks were about to rip. He couldn't contain his joy and relief at her answer as he hugged her, picked her up and spun her around. She giggled as he did this.

When he finally put her down, his arms were still on her waist as he laid his forehead on hers, their nose almost touching. He closed his eyes, just cherishing the moment but Yuri had her eyes open. She wondered how Donghae could make her feel so happy right now, she's never felt this way about a guy before. He opened his eyes and looked into her eyes again. She broke into a grin, a blush creeping at her cheeks.

"I'll see you tomorrow"

Donghae whispered. She replied with a slight nod. A round of applause and whistles suddenly filled the barn, causing both Yuri and Donghae to jump slightly. They were apparently to engrossed in their own little world, they actually forgot where they were and that they were suppose to be in the middle of a food fight. Donghae held Yuri tighter, letting her head lean on his shoulder as she hid her face, feeling totally embarrassed. He brought his lips close to her ears.

"I'm sorry but I really have to do this"

He whispered, breaking away from her. He lifted his arms into the air, his wide smile still plastered on his face, turned his back on Yuri and faced the door. Before Yuri could even imagine what he was about to do, he sprinted out the door,screaming.

"SHE SAID YES"

Over and over again. Yuri was embarrassed but amused at the same time, chuckling quietly in the barn. Everyone rushed pass her to the door to watch Donghae running around the campus screaming.

It was a beautiful sunny day that afternoon. It was so beautiful, almost everyone was outside; the elders having their afternoon speed walk, kids sitting on their front porch with sticky hands as the ice-cream slowly dribbles down to their hands, parents doing their gardening or washing their cars and other outdoor activities except one person.   Kwon Yuri looked at herself in the mirror, wearing a white bell-sleeve top tucked into her black skinny jeans. She turned slightly, examining her outfit. With a huff, she threw it off and looked around her room. Her floor was basically covered with every piece of clothing she had in her wardrobe. She never thought looking for an outfit for a date would be this hard. Stepping on her clothes, she frantically picked random pieces, trying to match them but she wasn’t satisfies with any. She didn’t want to look like she wasn’t trying but she didn’t want it to look like she was trying too hard. She knew she needed help. She threw around her clothes, trying to find her phone. Once she did, she dialled Tiffany’s number.   “Pick up, pick up, pick up”   She whispered, basically praying. The ringing stopped and a cheerful greeting was given. Yuri gave out a relieved sigh. She knew Tiffany was the best person to ask, since she was the most experience in dating. Tiffany was the friendliest out of the bunch, with her eye-smile and cheerful personally and basically the least intimating person to approach, a lot of guys ask her out and she was on the quest to finding mr.right anyway. She doesn’t usually have a second date with a guy, finding them not really her type. The longest relationship she had was with Siwon and even after their break up, they’re still good friends. Yuri quickly explain to her about her dilemma but was replied with giggles instead.   “Kwon Yuri, stop feeling so nervous!”   Yuri chuckled sheepishly, trying to calm herself down. Tiffany was in deep thought, trying to piece out an outfit for her girl while Yuri, just then realising the mess and started picking up her clothes one by one, putting them back in her closet. Yuri then heard a clicking sound -Tiffany snapping her fingers- and reached for her phone.   “Do you remember that time like two years ago when we went shopping and you had that phase where you were into pink too?”   “Yea, I totally remember that. And you got so annoyed every time we had to fight over something pink” Yuri replied, giggling at the memory.   “Yeah! But remember that dress you bought? The pink strapless sundress that was too big on either of us but you still bought it anyway and hid it from your mom”   Yuri racked her brain, trying to remember where she hid it. She thanked Tiffany and quickly looked for the dress. Looking inside her closet and in her drawers but only to remember she gave that dress to her cousin Vivian for her birthday. But then it struck her, Vivian left her blouse a couple of months ago and told her she could keep it but never really bothered to look for it anyway. She looked around her room and when checking under her bed did she find the top. Quickly slipping it on, she looked at herself again in the mirror. The light blue blouse was long and flowy, almost like a dress with cut-outs on the shoulders, wearing white short shorts underneath and pairing the outfit with her black vans and long greenish yellow bead necklace. She smiled at herself as she straightened the blouse, finally satisfied with her outfit.   As she was applying her lipstick, the door bell rang. She quickly grabbed her purse, stuffed her lipstick, phone and keys in and rushed to get the door. It was Donghae. He looked freshly showered, wearing a checkered blue and red shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, blue rip jeans and white trainers. He was holding red tulips in his hands that caught Yuri’s attention but his attention was definitely on her. He was awestruck by her.   “You—that—you-uh….wow”   He slowly handed her the flowers,still pretty much staring at her. Yuri accepted the flowers shyly and closed the door. Yuri was sure she was turning the world’s brightest shade of red.   “Thank you” she managed. They silently hopped on their bikes and Donghae lead the way. They were going a very familiar route. Yuri looked at Donghae, curious where exactly they were going. It finally dawned on to her where they were when they stopped right outside the camp’s parking lot. They whizzed past the security guard with a wave and locked their bikes on the bike rack. Yuri stood up after chaining her bike and turned to Donghae.   “Why are we here? And how did you even manage to get in so easily?”   “I got a little help from Changmin"   He said, giving Yuri a wink. He took a picnic basket, which Yuri only realised was tied to his bike this entire time and again, lead the way. On the way, they slowly started to act like themselves again, not feeling nervous anymore. They finally reached their destination, just outside the gymnasium doors.   “Close your eyes”   Yuri was about to protest but Donghae gave her a pleading look. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect today. He took her hand and opened the door. They took a few steps in and Yuri heard the doors shut close, Donghae then let her hand go. He told her to stay put and quickly rushed to set up the food. In a few minutes, he came running back to Yuri and stood beside her.   “Are you ready?”   Yuri giggled and nodded. Donghae told her to open her eyes and she saw in the middle of the gymnasium was a picnic blanket, with food laid on it surrounded by pink balloons stuck to the ground and rose petals scattered around. She noticed a guitar was placed next to the basket Donghae had brought with them, wondering what he was planning to do. She wore a wide smile, a smile that touched her eyes and an excited giggle.
