Twenty-first chapter~!

Hee Young’s POV

I casually walked with both hands behind my back, glancing every once in a while to see him walking in front of me. A few times, he would glance back and I would automatically lean on the wall and cover my face. And then I would follow him again.

I looked up at the ceiling and saw something. I stopped and squinted my eyes  to see.

Oh……….it’s just a spot.

When I looked back down, Hyunseung was gone. I panicked and ran. Where the hell did he go?! I turned at a corner and gasped at his face glaring at me.

“ Aish, Hyunseung!!!! You shouldn’t surprise people like this… “  I shouted.

“ And you… “ he leaned closer while my eyes widened. “…shouldn’t stalk people like this. “

I became angry. “ I just want to know why you’re being like this! “

His eyes look surprised but his face didn’t change. “ Don’t even bother. Nothing’s wrong with me Hee Young. “

“Then why are you so…different? Why don’t you feel the same? Why won’t you tell me why? Why do you- “

He cut me off. “ BECAUSE, HEE YOUNG! BECAUSE! “ he sighed. “ Because I can’t just pretend that nothing happened. I can’t. And it hurts me because when I see you, it’s like pressing a button that rewinds what has happened. “ He closed his eyes and walked away.

I was about to follow but he stopped. “ Don’t even think of following me again. “

I sighed and clenched my fists. Am I the reason why he’s like this? Was it about Junhyung? Argh. Too much questions and not even a single answer.

“ Keep frowning and your eyebrows might really meet and become one. “

I turned at where the sound came from. “ Key. “

He was leaning at the wall, both hands in his pockets and his head tilted in a cocky position. Though there was a smile on his face, his eyes seem to feel different.

He got off the wall and walked towards me. “ It’s Hyunseung, isn’t it? “
I bit my lip and nodded.

“ Don’t worry. He’ll wake up soon. “ I must’ve had a confused expression because he laughed and said, “He’s still thinking about a lot of things. “

“ He doesn’t seem like the type who’s serious. I haven’t seen him like this. “

“ It will pass. “ He smiled and put his hand on my shoulder. “ I’ll try talking to him, okay? “

I smiled and nodded.

He touched the corner of my mouth, which froze me. What is he doing?

He blinked, realizing what he’s done, quickly took back his hand and walked away.

I stood there, staring at him walk down the hallway, just like what I did to Hyunseung. Should I follow?

I touched the corner of my mouth. Key, if you keep doing this, I might not know what to do. I’m so confused since the person that I MIGHT actually LIKE is being cold and distant all of a sudden.

Jang Hyunseung, should I give up on you?

Hyunseung’s POV

I sighed in frustration. Why can’t she just like me back?!

I heard someone laughing behind me. “ You won’t know the answer to that unless you ask. “

Did I shout it out loud???

He put his hand on my shoulder. “ Why are you doing this to her, anyway? She’s hurting because of you. “
I faced him. “ And you think I don’t see that? “

“ If you see what you’re doing to her, then why won’t you stop?! “

“ I DON’T WANT TO GET HURT, OK?! “ I shouted. Why do people keep asking me a lot of questions?

“ You’re doing this so YOU won’t hurt in the end? That’s why you hurt HER?! “

“ I don’t want to hurt her! She won’t be hurt once she realizes she still loves Junhyung. When that happens, I don’t want to be there, pretending I didn’t like her and smiling like a fool while my best friend holds her when in fact, SHE’S SUPPOSED TO BE MINE! “

“ So you’re saying you don’t want to end up like me?! Is that what you’re saying?! “

“ YES! “ I screamed.

I could tell that I hurt him. His face instantly turned to stone as he glared at me. “ The only reason why my story ended like that.. “ he said. “ …was because I didn’t fight for it. Just like what you’re doing right now. “

It was my turn to glare at him.

In an instant his eyes lit up like he just discovered something. He smirked. “ You know, Hyunseung, my story might have ended like that BUT, I can begin a new one. “ He went closer to me and leveled his eyes with mine, “ And Hee Young could be perfect for me. “

My eyes widened. “ She doesn’t like you. “

“ She will like me. “

I clenched my fist. “ She won’t! “

He tilted his head in a way that made me so annoyed. “ She WILL. And I’ll make sure of that. “

I knew I couldn’t punch him. So I punched the wall instead.

He turned around. “ It actually feels good to join a love square, doesn’t it? “

I looked back at the traces of red on the wall.

He can’t just think of this as a game, right? He can’t play with her feelings like this.

She’ll get hurt. I can’t let her be hurt.

Hello again, people!!!!!!!!!!

When I was about to write, ‘No better then Strangers’ by Baby Soul was playing….that’s where I got the idea for the first part.

And it goes on and on and on…on and on and on.

BTW, the title is from the OST of City Hunter. Both the drama and OST are daebak!!!!!!! :D
