Eighteenth Chapter~

Hee Young’s POV

Once the elevator’s doors closed, he took his arm away from me. But I was still nervous because although his arm was gone, his gaze was still there. A hard piercing gaze that made me want to…

…punch his pretty face.

“ I’m not as bad as you think I am. I just did it because they’re competition. “

I looked straight at him. “ You’re wrong. You ARE as bad as I think. “

He gave me a cocky smile. “ Won’t your boyfriend be jealous that you’re with me? “

I sighed. “ Let me get this straight. YOU are Key and YOU think that the arrogant and idiotic Jang Hyunseung is MY boyfriend? “

He seemed surprised. Well, I couldn’t blame him. People do get surprised when I shout at them.

He gave me a little nod.

“ Then, Key, YOU are so wrong. He is definitely NOT my boyfriend. “

“ But I was sure of what I saw. Why would you kiss him if he wasn’t your boyfriend? “

I thought about that for a moment. “ Because…umm…I…It’s…actually a long…and VERY complicate story. “

“ Ah, I see. “ His cocky smile was back. “ You don’t trust me…yet. “

I gave out a little laugh. “ I will NEVER trust you. “\

The elevator opened. I went straight outside and looked at each of the door’s numbers.

“ You’re at the wrong lobby. “

I turned around. “ What? “

He sighed, took my hand and dragged me in another direction. “ Here it is. “

I took out my key and unlocked the door.

Woah.

The room was so big and there was a king-sized bed in the middle of everything. Behind the bed, there was a big glass window overlooking the lights of Tokyo. The bathroom had a glass-paneled shower, a shining white toilet and a sink…with no switch?

Key went behind me. “ Why do you look so confused? “ Then he followed my gaze and because of the mirror in front of me, I can see him trying to fight a smile. “ You’re wondering how to turn it on? “

I frowned. “ You think this is funny?! How the hell am I supposed to wash my hands, then? “

He held my hands from behind me and held them under the faucet. In a split second, cold water came pouring out. I was too amazed at what I saw that I didn’t even realize that Key was hugging me. I looked at his face in the mirror. There was a little smile but the rest of his face was just expressionless.

After a few more seconds, he let go. “ Even the shower is sensor activated. The cabinet behind you is where you’ll put your clothes. “ Then he frowned. “ You didn’t bring any clothes? “

I bit my lip and leaned against the sink. “ It’s actually a- “

“ A long and very complicated story?” he smiled.

I smiled back. “ Yeah. Something like that.”

“ If you want to stay here in Japan, you better have some clothes. “ He took my hand. “ Come on. “

I didn’t move. “Where are we going?”

He pulled me out of the room. “Shopping.”

Hyunseung’s POV

I really can’t understand Hee Young. Why is it that her mood swings are so…swing-y? AISH.

When she was at the elevator she was angry…

A few moments later, when Junhyung was impatiently banging the elevator, she felt confused.

After getting in the levator and while trying to calm Junhyung, she felt amazed.

And now, she feels nervous. Conscious. Tense. And a girl can only feel this things at one situation:

When she’s with a guy.

That’s when I joined Junhyung of being in a panic for Hee Young.

When the elevators opened, I hurried to go outside but Junhyung also did the same thing which resulted to the both of us being squeezed shoulder to shoulder at the doors of the elevator.

“ Back off, Junhyung. “ I hissed.

“ YOU back off! “

Doojoon pulled us to the very back of the elevator. “ Both of you will back off. “ Then he started to run outside, to find out where Hee Young’s room could be.

I got out. The rest of my members were in the wrong corridor. Fortunately, because of our connection, I knew where she is. I headed to another corridor and stopped.

I turned around again and looked just in time as the elevators closed.

Key was smirking while he held up his hand. That’s when I noticed that he was holding Hee Young’s hand.

“ Not your girlfriend, right? So there’s no problem if I ask her out? “ he gave me one last smirk before the doors finally closed.

Hee Young’s POV

“ Ask me out? “ I asked.

He laughed. “ I told you, we’ll just be shopping. Anyway, it feels good to make someone else jealous, right? “

I suddenly took away my hand from his and tried rubbing it to stop the pain. “ Ow. “

“ Why? What’s wrong with your hand? “

I smiled. Hyunseung must have punched a wall. “ You’re right, Key. He IS jealous. “

Key’s so cocky…Junhyung’s so cranky…and Hyunseung’s so jealous. If I were Hee Young, I wouldn’t know what to do.

But still, I know what’s about to happen. And YOU, yes you, should keep reading because a lot of things can happen in Japan.

*P.S. I should stop writing about Key. He might take away Onew’s position as my SHINee bias. Haha. But what can I do? He’s the perfect guy for his role!
