Twelfth chapter~!

Hyunseung’s POV

“ JANG HYUNSEUNG! “

Why the hell is he shouting?!

I went out of Hee Young’s bedroom and saw the four of them looking at me. Doojoon and Junhyung were clenching their fists, Gikwang was smirking at the back while Dongwoon was looking at the floor.

I scratched my head. “ O…kay? What are you guys doing here? “

Doojoon scoffed. “ Why didn’t you tell us? “

I frowned. “ Huh? “

“ If you told us, I could’ve understood. We could’ve thought of something to help you. Instead, you had to keep it and wait for Gikwang to discover?! “

“ What the hell are you talking about?! “

“ Tsk tsk tsk….Don’t pretend. I know EXACTLY what’s going on. Unlike you, a true man knows how to face his problems. “

“ YAH! I’M A MAN! “

Junhyung scoffed. “Yeah, right. “

I was starting to get mad. “ WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?! “

Doojoon got in between us. “ Hyunseung, we know she’s pregnant, ok? But, why her? She seems so innocent…so young…so good… “

Instantly, my jaw dropped. “ HUH?! “

Junhyung whispered, but it was loud enough for all of us to hear. “ She’s perfect. You don’t deserve her. She’s not meant to be with someone like you. “

We  became silent for a moment. I tried replaying everything that Doojoon said. Did it even make sense? They said she was pregnant, how did they know? She didn’t even tell me…

Wait. But Junhyung said…I don’t deserve her. But doesn’t that mean…?

I slapped my forehead. “ ARE YOU ACCUSING ME OF MAKING HER PREGNANT?! “I screamed in front of Doojoon’s face.

Junhyung exhaled loudly and pushed Doojoon aside. “ That’s it, Hyunseung. I’m done playing, so stop pretending to be dumb. “

He held up his fist and punched me across the face.

No One’s POV

Hee Young woke up because of her throbbing cheek. She stood up and looked at her mirror.

There was nothing. No bruise. No scar. Nothing. There was just…pain.

She wondered why, but she heard someone shouting outside. She hurriedly opened the door. She saw Junhyung punch Hyunseung in the gut.

She wrapped her arms around her navel. It hurt so much, the pain was excruciating.. She screamed and all of them stopped whatever they were doing. All of them looked at her with shocked eyes.

Hyunseung was the one who was most surprised. Even though Junhyung’s punches hurt, he can’t help but feel stupid. “ ARE YOU REALLY PREGNANT?! “

Hee Young, though pained, managed to shout. “ WHAT?! “

Junhyung, on the other hand, was pissed. He punched Hyunseung in the stomach. “ How could you not know?! You’re the father! “

Hee Youn and Hyunseung were in the same position. Both were hurt. Hyunseung didn’t know why Hee Young was like that…

Maybe she’s really pregnant…

He looked at her. “ Hyunseung…it hurts…tell him…to stop… “

The moment she said that, he quickly understood. “ Junhyung! Stop punching me! “

Junhyung got angry. “ She’s in pain yet you’re only thinking about yourself?! Look at her, we should bring her to the hospital- “

Hyunseung cut him off. “ She’s not pregnant, dammit. “ He went to Hee Young and helped her stand.

Doojoon went to Hyunseung and asked, “ Then why is she acting like that? “

Hyunseung was about to answer when the door burst open.

Yoseob looked at each of them and was surprised to see Hyunseung. “ Hyunseung? You’re alive? “

Hyunseung threw up his hands. “ I GIVE UP! Can someone please tell me where all these nonsense are coming from?! “

Yoseob scratched his head. “ Don’t you know? You were on the news. It said you were there when a gang tried to steal from a café. One of the members threw a knife at one of the guards, but missed. Instead, it went inside which caused a commotion. “

All of our eyes widened.

He continued. “ Since people were in a panic, they started running away. The gang was about to continue their theft, but a lady saw you. That’s how it became crowded again and the gang just went away. The one’s who were chasing you, saw you being taken away by a van together with a girl. “

He looked at Hee Young. “ The girl was you? “

She nodded.

“ And so, they said that the kidnappers were the gang from the café. They thought that you were killed by them. But even though, you were considered a hero for saving the café. “

All of their faces were filled with confusion. Hyunseung scratched his head. “ That’s stupid. That wasn’t even exactly what happened. Our kidnappers were Dongwoon and Gikwang. “

Yoseob’s eyes widened. “ Why did you get kidnapped by them?! “

Doojoon held up his hand. “ Guys, enough. Yoseob, ask for the story later. “ He turned to Hyunseung. “ You have a lot of explaining to do. “

Hyunseung didn’t know how to explain everything, so Hee Young did. She told him about the connection, that some random lady put a curse on them. Everything.

Doojoon was about to ask her something but Junhyung cut him off. “ You know what each of you feels? “

I nodded.

Gikwang opened his mouth but Junhyung asked again, “Being far away from each other, you’ll eventually die? “

Hyunseung was about to go beside me but he pushed him away. “ You’re gonna kiss him every 12 days?! “

Doojoon, finally seeing the situation, punched Junhyung’s shoulder. “Can’t you give others the chance to ask? “

They stayed quiet for a moment until Hee Young and Dongwoon yawned at the same time.

The other members frowned.” It’s late already. As the leader, I declare sleeping time! “

All of them yawned while Junhyung grumbled. “ Who said you can proclaim sleeping time? “

All of them started to say goodbye to Hee Young. She smiled at each of them. Junhyung kept looking at her. But when Hyunseung said goodbye, she grabbed his arm.

“ How about the trip to Japan? We still haven’t solved that problem. “

He smiled. “ Don’t worry, we will. Just get some more rest. Today has been very tiring. “

Beast went inside the van, one by one. As the van sped off, Hee Young waved at it. She turned her back and was about to go inside but someone was in front of her.

“ God! Jin Ae, you scared me. “

“ So, all of a sudden, you’re close to Beast, huh? “

“ Jin Ae, there was just a lot happening today.. “

She sighed. “ It’s okay… “

I sighed in relief.

“ But, you aren’t falling for Junhyung all over again, right? “

I thought first before nodding slowly.

“ Good, because you never know what secrets he may keep. “

I am soooooo sorry, I won’t be able to update next week!!!!!

Two weeks from now, it would be our exams already…and I need to concentrate!

Hopefully I’ll be able to balance this fic and an upcoming fic…wish me luck!!!!!! :D
