Chapter 9

 

Yoona and Yuri went back to Yuri’s room after hanging out with other Kwons in the bonfire event. Yoona had been warmly welcomed in their family. Their relationship was accepted and no one intervened.

 

Yoona pushed Yuri inside her room as she shut the door behind her and locked it. yuri laughed, for she knows what the latter will do to her.

 

“Impatient, are we?”

“A bit…”

 

Yoona grabbed her nape and kissed her fiercely. Their lips crashed and Yuri shut her eyes the moment Yoona started moving. She parted her lips, letting Yoona do her job. Yuri wrapped her hands around Yoona’s waist and pulled her closer. The moment their bodies touched, Yoona pulled back and looked into her eyes.

 

Yuri kissed her chin and whispered to her.

 

“Make love to me…”

 

The moment she uttered those words, Yoona didn’t let a second pass them by anymore. She pushed Yuri on the bed and positioned on top of her. She slowly ed Yuri’s polo, exposing the older girl’s evenly toned abs.

 

“I like your abs.”

“Shut up.”

 

Yuri pulled her for a kiss. Yoona intertwined her fingers with her and put it on top of her head. She felt the hunger in Yuri’s kiss. This time, it was Yuri dictating their kiss with Yoona’s other hand roaming her body.

 

Yoona’s hand reached Yuri’s belt. She grinned and raised a brow at her.

 

“May I, miss?”

“Pleasure is mine babe.”

 

 

[YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT. HAHAHA]

 

The next morning…

 

Yoona was staring proudly at the girl in front of her. Yuri was putting on her clothes, which were left scattered on the sides of the bed.

 

“You’re good huh.”

 

Yuri laughed at her compliment.

 

“Not common for first timers?”

“Well… maybe…”

“You’re wild last night. I’ll kill you if I’ll limp later.”

 

Yoona kissed her neck.

 

“Yoona, get dressed now.”

 

Yoona smiled and kissed the back of her ear.

 

“Yoong please…”

“ again?”

“Nope, I’m not that aggressive.”

 

Yoona pulled back and sighed.

 

“Fine, I’ll get dressed Madame.”

“Good girl.”

 

Yuri ruffled her hair as she stood up and headed to the door.

 

“I’ll go down and make us breakfast. Follow afterwards okay?”

“Yeah, I know.”

 

 

Sunday afternoon. Choi’s Residence.

 

Tiffany was sitting across Sooyoung. Sooyoung was looking at her like an investigator.

 

“Soo? What’s with that stare huh?”

“You fell for her right?”

 

Tiffany was about to eat a cookie but after hearing that, she put it down.

 

“What do you mean?”

“You already love Sica, don’t you?”

 

Tiffany started to wonder. She knows she loves Jessica, but admitting it in front of Sooyoung was quite uncomfortable for her.

 

“I’m right.”

 

Sooyoung stood up.

 

“I told you already Ppanyang. What you did from the start was wrong.”

“I know—“

“You know. You claim you know.”

 

Tiffany’s eyes narrowed.

 

“And what’s the matter with that now?”

“The matter? Oh my God Tiffany, what if she’ll know about it?”

“About what?”

“About your even plan of getting revenge on her for stealing Donghae away from you? What would you do about that huh?”

“Nothing.”

 

Sooyoung scoffed.

 

“You’re kidding, aren’t you?”

“Sooyoung, nothing wrong will happen if we both keep our mouth shut.”

 

When she said those words, she suddenly remembered Hyorin.

 

“Damn it.”, she murmured.

“Hyorin knows about it right?”

 

She slowly nodded at her. Sooyoung rolled her eyes.

 

“Then that’s the major problem here. You have nothing to worry about me shutting that ty secret of yours but… Hyorin the devil is there.”

 

Tiffany bit her lip.

 

“Tiff, you know what? You better tell Jessica yourself.”

“I can’t do that.”

“You can. I know you can.”

“Then what about her?”

“You worry she might get mad at you?”

 

Tiffany shut her eyes closed, not knowing what she would do.

 

“I don’t want to hurt Jessica.”

“You might hurt her if you tell her yourself. But imagine if Hyorin will be the one to tell her. She might live up her life hating you Tiff.”

“But—“

“I’m close to Jessica for three years already. She’s not that kind of person who doesn’t know how to forgive. She’ll still accept you no matter what Tiff. I tell you.”

 

Tiffany looked down. Sooyoung sat beside her and rubbed her back.

 

“Jessica loves you.”

“and I love her… so much.”

 

Sooyoung sighed at her regretful friend.

 

“I’m scared Soo… that the moment I say to her the truth, she might hate me.”

“She won’t, unless it’ll come out of other people’s mouth.”

“I never thought I’ll fall for her.”

“I told you already right? She’s close to perfection. See? Even Kwon Yuri fell for her before.”

“….”

“See how playful life is? To tell you honestly… I like Jessica back then…”

 

Tiffany glared at her. Sooyoung laughed as she raised both her hands to surrender.

 

“I said back then, okay? Relax.”

“….”

“So… what will you do?”

 

Tiffany held her hand.

 

“Will you help me get through this?”

 

Sooyoung smiled and nodded at her.

 

“Of course… I’m here for you.”

“…”

“Why don’t you talk to Yoona first? Or to Yuri? Maybe you can get help from them.”

“In what way?”

“They’ll help you. Yuri’s a nice girl, so as Yoona.”

“Wouldn’t it be awkward—“

“Nope. Trust me girl.”

 

 

Monday, 3:25pm

 

Jessica looked at her wristwatch. It has been 15 minutes since she started waiting for Hyorin, who told her just yesterday that they have to talk.

 

Later on, she saw Hyorin walking to her. Hyorin sat across her.

 

“What took you so long?”

“Donghae called…”

 

Jessica hissed.

 

“So what should we talk about?”

 

She saw Hyorin grin at her.

 

“It’s about… how people can be so cruel when it comes to love. You know what I mean? They only love for a purpose, not because they really loved the person—“

“Just go straight to the point.”

 

Hyorin laughed sarcastically.

 

“I’m not sure if this will make you mad…”

“…”

“Or… worse… curse your girlfriend.”

 

Jessica raised a brow at her.

 

“What do you mean?”

“This has something to do with… Tiffany…”

 

Jessica gulped. She suddenly felt something weird about this.

 

“What if… you’ll know that Tiffany was just playing around with you?”

“She’s not.”

 

Hyorin smirked.

 

“Well… sad to say Sica… but Tiffany just loved you for revenge.”

“What?”

 

Hyorin handed an envelope to her. When she opened it, it contained pictures of Donghae and Tiffany together.

 

“What are these?”

“Tiffany is Donghae’s ex-girlfriend.”

 

Jessica’s eyes widened.

 

“Wh-what?”

“The reason why they broke up… was you. You remember this?”

 

Hyorin showed a picture of Donghae and Jessica hugging each other.

 

“At that time, Donghae was still with Tiffany. Just the next day after that, Donghae broke up with her.”

“But he said—“

“You think he was single? For Pete’s sake Jessica! My brother is a player!”

 

Jessica pushed away the pictures.

 

“No, you’re lying.”

“I’m not.”

“She’s not… she didn’t love me for revenge. I don’t care if she’s Donghae’s past. I love her and she—“

“And she loves you? Oh My Jessica… you’re such a cheesy idiot, aren’t you?”

 

Hyorin hissed when she saw her tearing up.

 

“You have no proofs for that Hyorin.”

“Well I have…”

 

Choi Jonghun, Sooyoung’s older brother, slowly approached them.

 

“Jonghun oppa?”

“What she said was true Sica. Yesterday, Tiffany went to the house. I heard them talking about plans and stuffs. And that includes the revenge thing.”

“That’s not true—“

 

Jonghun put a recorder on top of the table and played it.

 

“And what’s the matter with that now?”

“The matter? Oh my God Tiffany, what if she’ll know about it?”

“About what?”

“Nothing.”

The recorder stopped and Jessica was left dumbfounded.

 

“So… what would you do now, huh Sica?”

 

Jonghun got the recorder and ran away. On his way, he bumped into Tiffany, who was looking for Jessica.

 

“Jonghun-ah? Have you seen—“

 

Jonghun ran away as fast as he could. Tiffany shrugged and continued to the canteen.

 

She stopped when she saw Hyorin talking to Jessica who was crying like mad. She hid into the side of the canteen. There were only a few students there and no one seemed to notice her.

 

“You loved a Jess—“

 

Jessica grabbed her collar and punched her face. Tiffany rushed to her and held her arm to stop her.

 

“Sica!”

 

Jessica looked at her. Right at that time, Yoona and Yuri entered the canteen to buy something. But they heard Tiffany’s scream and their attention were diverted to them.

 

“Tell me it’s not true.”, Jessica said.

“What do you mean?”

 

Tiffany’s hand started to tremble.

 

Yoona and Yuri were both stuck looking at them, also the other students inside.

 

“Tell me it’s not true!”

 

Jessica’s tears flowed out continuously.

 

“Tell her the truth Fany-ah. There’s no point in denying because she saw all of these already.”, Hyorin said as she wiped off the blood from her lips.

 

Tiffany stared at the pictures of her and Donghae on the table. She held Jessica tighter and wiped off her tears. Jessica held her hand and put it down.

 

“Is it true? Is this all just a scene huh?”

 

Tiffany doesn’t know how to answer her.

 

“You loved me just for revenge Tiff?”

 

Yuri’s eyes widened as she heard those words from Jessica, even Yoona’s.

 

“And you think I stole Donghae away from you?”

 

Tiffany looked away, unable to make an eye contact.

 

“Tell me!—“

“It’s true.”

 

Tiffany finally spoke, and right at that moment, Jessica’s world crashed. Jessica scoffed as she looked down.

 

Yoona and Yuri were both stunned of what they heard.

 

“You made me look like a fool Tiff. You made me believe that this… that all of these are true!”

“Sica—“

“Shut up, coz I might just believe you again.”

“I love you! I really do Jess—“

“I said shut up!”

 

Jessica slightly pushed Tiffany away. She walked away slowly, but before she exited, she looked at Tiffany.

 

“Don’t ever look for me anymore, nor talk to me. Act like you never knew me, like you never loved me.”

“…”

“The question is… did you?”

 

Jessica forced a laugh.

 

Tiffany clenched her fist, cursing herself for what she has done.

 

“Do what I said… coz I’ll do the same Tiffany Hwang.”

“….”

“And last thing Tiff… do it for us okay? If there’s really an ‘us’, do it. I’ll make your…”

 

Jessica scoffed.

 

“I’ll make your revenge much easier for you.”

 

Jessica shut the behind her after she stepped out of the canteen. Whispers covered the whole canteen. Taeyeon entered the canteen and they all stopped after seeing the SC president.

 

Hyorin slowly walked out of the canteen. Taeyeon walked to Tiffany and patted her shoulder.

 

“Go with me to the SC office, now…”, she said softly.

 

Yuri just looked at the two as they both walked towards the exit. Whispers again started and it irritated Yoona.

 

“Can you guys just shut it all up?!”

 

The students were startled. They shut up when they heard her. Yuri held her hand and looked at her.

 

“Babe calm down…”

“What happened to those two huh?”

 

Yuri shrugged.

 

“Jessica was Donghae’s ex. And I know you have heard when Sica said Tiffany thought she stole Hae from her. Maybe Tiffany was also his ex.”

 

Yoona hissed.

 

“You’re worried about Fany?”

 

Yoona looked at her with a questioning face.

 

“What?”

 

Yuri dragged her to the exit.

 

“Nothing…”

 

 

The next morning…

 

Jessica felt her head cracking the moment she opened her eyes. She was so drunk last night and now she’s experiencing the aftermath of the drink.

 

She checked her phone and saw that it’s already 9am in the morning. There was also a message from Taeyeon.

 

[Taeyeon]

I know you’re still asleep now Sica. Don’t go to class today. I asked the professors to excuse you. I told them you’re sick. I know you need rest and to work out things. Don’t overwork yourself buddy. Sunny and I, even other students are concerned about you. Don’t do anything reckless. Keep safe, love you~~ ^_^

 

Jessica hissed at her message.

 

[Jessica]

I’m up now. Work things out? Like what?

 

She stood up and headed to the bathroom. She found herself wanting to puke because of the headache she was experiencing. She hurried and freshened up herself.

 

When she went out, she saw a reply from Taeyeon.

 

 

[Taeyeon]

DumbSica. That name fits you.

 

[Jessica]

So, so.

 

[Taeyeon]

Talk to Tiffany.

 

Jessica scoffed at her message.

 

Why should I?

 

[Jessica]

And why?

 

[Taeyeon]

She loved you… for real Jess.

 

[Jessica]

She didn’t. it was all just a scene.

 

[Taeyeon]

But the plan didn’t go out as what it should be. She fell for you buddy.

 

[Jessica]

Are you teaming up with her huh?

 

[Taeyeon]

I’m not. Nor in your side.

 

[Jessica]

We have nothing to talk about. It’s over Taeng. It’s clear that it’s over.

 

[Taeyeon]

But for her it’s not… I tell you.

 

 

Jessica was left repeating to read her last message.

 

But for her it’s not… I tell you.

 

She closed her eyes, trying to ask her mind what she should do.

 

“Damn it… damn you Tiff…”

 

How could you?.....
