-3^rd Person Pov-

-KSSA Agents-

Youngjae frowned looking at his laptop.

‘Youngjae why are you frowning? Did it show up?’ Himchan questioned, looking at Youngjae from his seat.

Since from yesterday Youngjae had being waiting for the results to show up on his laptop…and it did.

File Deleted.

‘It’s deleted.’ Youngjae said, causing the agents to stop what they are doing.

‘W-What do you mean deleted?’ Hyosung questioned

‘As in, that information that once was in the government’s data system is now gone. Wiped clean.’ Youngjae explained

‘But that’s impossible…The Government’s system is highly guarded and coded to prevent anything to be eased.’ Yongguk said amused

Youngjae let out a sigh ‘well you can believe it or not. But like I said. It’s deleted. We don’t know anything about this guy besides his appearance.’ He said

Daehyun growled not liking how things are coming along for them. It surely isn’t their luck these days.

‘I know that we all hate this question, but…what now? What are we going to do now?’ Jieun questioned ‘we’ve lost possible ways to find Byul. We’re practically back to square one.’

It really did annoyed and frustrates them all right now, that they no longer know where else to start.

‘Ani…there’s still another way.’ Daehyun said

The agents looked at him, waiting to hear of another plan.

‘But not here. Let’s go’ Daehyun said and walked out.

- Byul-

 Byul currently now was plotting out ideas and methods for her strategy, there was still lots more details she needed to include in order for the strategy to succeed. Jaejoong entered the computer room, carrying a try of snacks and drinks.

‘Take a break for a bit’ he said, while placing the tray beside Byul.

Byul stopped for a bit and looked at the tray of snacks.

‘Thanks’ she said, taking a sandwich.

Jaejoong seated himself beside her and looked at the papers in front of her.

‘How is it coming together?’ he questioned

‘Still a lot more to do. Like I said it would take about 3 or 4 days.’ Byul answered

Jaejoong nod and took a sip of his coffee. There was silence between the two, but it wasn’t the awkward kind…it was comfortable, but either way, Jaejoong broke the silence.

‘Can I ask you a question?’ Jaejoong suddenly asked

Byul looked at Jaejoong and nod ‘sure.’ She answered

‘Hopefully it’s not personal or anything, but since KSSA is an unknown organization and all…how did you hear of it and ended up joining them.?’ He asked

Byul stared at Jaejoong for a moment, surprised that he asked her that. Jaejoong on the other hand mistake the short silence that he might of worded the question wrong and offended her….it worried him.

‘Not that your not capable of joining and not smart enough, because you are really!’ Jaejoong rambling

Byul could see the misunderstanding and laughed a little. ‘Ani, it’s not personal and no, I am not offended or anything. I was just surprised that you would ask me that question.’ She said

Jaejoong let out a relieved sigh ‘ I’m curious.’ He said

Byul smiled ‘I don’t mind telling. It’s a pretty long story though’ she said

‘I don’t mind. I have nothing to do anyways’ Jaejoong said

Personally Jaejoong really wanted to know more about Byul.

‘Well…actually, I never knew anything about KSSA, I’ll admit. It wasn’t even me who joined or the government that had found me or made me join.’ Byul explained.

Jaejoong gave her a confused look

Byul smiled ‘It was our leader that found me and asked the government to allow me to join, Daehyun.’ She continued

-Flash Back-

[This flash back is not in Byul’s view but she is telling Jaejoong about it. It’s like an extra story, so it may be a little confusing, but please bear along. The extra story is before Byul joined KSSA. By the way Byul was the last person to have join KSSA]

-KSSA-

The agents had received a mission. It was reported that groups of various drug dealers are meeting up in Changwon Park to trade their goods. Their mission, is to capture all drug dealers, bring the leaders of the drug dealer back to KSSA  Cooperation, as for the minions let the police handle them. With a straight forward and bold plan…well it was actually not called a plan because there is none, beside to just go and capture. So as perusal Daehyun, Jieun, Hana, Zelo and Jongup, the mission set off to Changwon Park. Whilst Himchan, Hyosung, Yongguk, Youngjae and Sunhwa, the base team remained back at KSSA hideout, to instruct and guide the mission team.

- Mission Team-  -Changwon Park-

‘South, is clear and I’m in place.’ Daehyun reported to Himchan thought his earpiece.

Good. Now just wait for the others to be in position. – Himchan

Daehyun stayed hidden in the tree, observing everything that was in sight from the height he was in.

East side is clear. Zelo and Jongup are in place. – Zelo

West side clear. Jieun is in position.- Jieun

I’m in Position. North side is clear. – Hana

Good. Everyone is set. Now stay in position, till the dealers come – Himchan

Wait till their all gathered in one place and from there, you guys ambush them from all directions. – Sunwha

Neh – Hana, Jieun, Zelo and Jongup

‘How long till they get here?’ Daehyun questioned

Probably another 30 minutes. – Youngjae

‘Okay’ Daehyun said

While waiting for the dealers to arrive, Daehyun took out the park’s map, that had being marked where the other agents position are. Although there was no plan from the start, Daehyun felt there should be a backup plan if anything backfired…but that’s the problem…Even as a Leader his strategizing was limited.

‘Aishi…the government needs to hire us a strategist. Going to every mission without a plan, is just feeding us to the lions.’ Daehyun thought

-30 minutes Later-

A group of dealers arrived, On north side. – Hana

Stay in position. Wait till they’re further in. – Himchan

2 more groups are coming from the east – Jongup

From the mission files, there should be 4 groups together. So wait for the last group and then ambush them. – Youngjae.

Leader, the last group should be coming from your side. – Sunhwa

‘Alright.’ Daehyun replied

-Byul-

Walking late at night, in Changwon…was Byul. After a long day of job searching, she was left disappointed and unlucky.

‘Maybe my luck will be better tomorrow’ Byul said, talking to herself

Although she thought and told herself thinking positively…it was hard considering that the jobs that are hiring wanted either male workers or someone that required physical strength…something that she was not capable of. It was not easy finding a job in an office or something that required the mind more then strength in Changwon.

‘Maybe I should move to Nampo or Seoul.’ She thought

While deep in her thoughts, it was unknowing to her that she was walking in one direction…approaching a dangerous looking group of 4 males. She was only snapped back into reality, when she had accidently bumped into one of the male.

‘YAH!’ The male shouted in anger

Byul bowed respectively and apologized ‘Sorry, I’m sorry! I wasn’t watching my way.’ She apologized

The males did a double take and looked at Byul again.

‘She’s cute.’ One of the males spoke bluntly

Byul who heard this, ignored it and stood back upright ‘I’m sorry once again. I’ll take my leave’ she said continue to walk

However, once the group of males did a double take and seeing that the female before them was young and beautiful…they will not let their prey escape.

With no shame or hesitation, one of the male grabbed onto her shoulder, stopping her and turning her around to face them again.

‘It was rude of you to leave without a repayment for bumping into us.’ One of the male said smirking ‘Why don’t you treat us to a drink?’

In any girl’s right mind, they would be scared and shaking…of course Byul was like that. But knowing that if she was to show any sign that she was intimidated, they would only take further advantage of her. So she stood firmly and her face cool.

‘It’s not rude, when an apology is been said.’ Byul resorted ‘ What’s rude is to take advantage of the situation and making a selfish benefit out of it.’

The group stared at her in amusement and astounded, but that disappeared when they realized that she had rejected and spoke back to them, making them angry.

‘That’s smart mouth you have there, Young lady.’ A male taunted her ‘But you better watch your words with who your specking with…or you might just get killed’

Byul started to play and act confident and snobby.

Byul smirked ‘Who I’m speaking with? A group of lowly drug dealers correct?’ she stated rather then questioning

The group gasped and stared at Byul in shock. They were surprised that someone could easily tell what they were. But that’s only because they didn’t know that Byul had a sharp eye and mind, making her observant a personal key skill. Seeing the shocked expressions and also noticing the panic and worry, Byul took it to her advantage.

‘In the streets of Changwon, you really think it’s safe to be walking around like that? Police are on tight patrol around here…’ Byul said, but every word was a lie. ‘Especially in this area. See there’s a cop right there.’

The groups eyes and attention averted to the direction Byul had pointed to. With the chance and opening…Byul ran.

-Daehyun Pov-

‘What’s keeping them?’ Daehyun thought

Waiting for a total of 20 minutes, the last group of dealers still haven’t came yet. Youngjae and reported to him, that the other groups were not getting patient, which could leave to an early disbandment and that would be a mission fail.

If the final group of dealers doesn’t come soon…we’ll just have to ambush whatever is there. – Himchan

Agree. It’s better then bringing nothing back to the government. – Sunhwa

So wait for another 10 minutes. If they still haven’t shown up, then you guys take action – Youngjae

Neh – Jongup, Hana, Zelo And Jieun

‘Okay.’ Daehyun replied.

Daehyun remained in his place and kept an eye out for any sign of the dealer’s arrival. His head turned instantly and alarmed towards a direction, which he heard running footsteps came from. He hid himself further behind the benches of leaves of the tree and watched from above, when in his sight, he saw a girl running on the path towards the tree he was in. The girl…was Byul.

Byul came to a stop and leaned onto the tree Daehyun was hidden in. Observing how heavily she was breathing and panting…Daehyun guess she must of ran a long distance.

‘How am I going to get home now?!’ Byul said annoyed and tiredly

Daehyun watched amazingly, when the girl started to kick and gave weak punches to the tree he was in.

‘Stupid dealers. Why the hell were they even here!!’ Byul said distastefully.

The word ‘dealer’ caught Daehyun’s attention. ‘Did she ran into them?’ he thought

Daehyun continuing to watch Byul abusing and say insulting words to the tree, after while she seemed more relaxed and calm. But that relaxation and calmness vanished when, voices of angry males were cussing loudly…she panicked and looked scared

‘What to do, what to do…what should I do???!!’ Byul muttered panicking

Daehyun not able to handle watching her looking so scared and helpless any more, using his quick reflexes. Daehyun bent down while still remaining in the tree, grabbed Byul’s arm and pulled her up…settling her on his lap and covered with his left hand while the other remained on her waist to secure her from falling. He could feel her body tensed in his hold, from shock of his sudden actions.

 ‘Keep quite.’ Daehyun whispered

Byul stiffly nodded. Daehyun averted his eyes from the girl to spy on the group of dealers who came in sight just a few meters away from the tree he and the girl were in.

‘F*** we lost that chick.’ A dealer cussed angrily

‘That B**** better never let us see her again or we’ll rip that mouth of hers apart for tricking us.’ Another dealer added just as angry.

Hearing the threat, Byul tensed more and gulped, Daehyun could feel and heard her, causing him to unconsciously smile.

‘hahaha she’s cute.’ Daehyun thought

‘Well forget about it. We’re late. The other dealers aren’t going to be happy’ said the leader of the dealers.

They nod and entered the park. Once they walked out of sight and at a safe distance, Daehyun removed his left hand from the Byul’s mouth and pressed on to his earpiece.

‘The last group of dealers just entered’ Daehyun reported

Good. Okay guys get ready, for the ambush. – Himchan

Neh! – Hana, Jieun, Zelo and Jongup

Daehyun gave his replied, before turning his attention back to the girl who was still tensed sitting in his lap, with his other arm still securing her.

‘Um…are you alright?’ Daehyun asked

‘i…guess?’ Byul responded unsurely

‘Stay still. I’ll get you get down.’ Daehyun said

Byul nod. Daehyun carefully removed her from his lap and placed her on the branch before  jumping down landing swiftly on his feet at ease.

‘Okay. Now jump.’ Daehyun said.

Byul turned to face him and gave him a look which said ‘are you being serious?’

‘Yes. I am serious. Now hurry up.’ Daehyun said

Byul let out a sigh of defeat, shifting her body so she was sitting sideways on the branch…to jump easier…however…She lacked balanced…and fell off. With fast instincts and reflexes, Daehyun quickly ran and caught her in the nick of time.

Daehyun let out a chuckle and place her down on her feet.

‘There Your safe now.’ Daehyun said

Byul looked at Daehyun and smiled gratefully at him, but before she could thank him, many voices went frantic talking through his earpiece…that could also be heard by the girl.

LEADER! HANA AND JIEUN ARE CAUGHT! – Sunhwa

! – Zelo

F***, Leader what are your orders?! - Jongup

Daehyun eyes widen hearing the news, he quickly took out the map and placed it on the ground.

‘Youngjae! Sunwha! Tell me the layout and numbers of dealers.’ Daehyun ordered

Jieun and Hana are being brought to the east side of the park – Sunhwa

Number of Dealers are of a total of 15.– Youngjae.

Jieun and Hana are being held at a knife point. - Zelo

Me and Zelo are right behind them, in our position. But with any slight movement they’ll spot us for sure– Jongup

‘You guys just stay in place. Don’t make any movements.’ Daehyun ordered

Neh – Jongup and Zelo

Daehyun hasty marked on the map, with the information he was given. But in such a sudden situation, with little and dangerous time…Daehyun’s mind went chaotic and blank.

Byul blinked a couple of times and watched the strange guy who had help her, looking very panic. Voices that were coming out form his earpiece, she could hear them clearly.

‘Is he like s policeman or a secret agent of some sort?’ Byul wondered

But her thoughts were cut short, when Daehyun in front of her, seemed stressed and worried.

‘He helped me. So I should only return the favor…right?’ Byul thought

Byul walked up behind him and looked over his shoulder, analyzing the map. On the map there were marks of circles and crosses, from the information Byul had heard, 15 were dealers and on the map there were 15 crosses. Which meant that the 5 circles were Daehyun’s teammate including himself.

The circles were marked closely to each other, there were 2 crosses that were marked on two circles…which are the two teammates of his being held captive. There were 2 more circles marked just behind and pretty close to the captive, which means that the other 2 team members of his were hiding somewhere really close and just behind the dealers who were holding the captives. And last there was a marked circle pretty far and on the south end of the map, which Byul guess was where the guy who had save her is now.

Zelo can’t you just shot the two who are holding Jieun and Hana? – Himchan

That might work. – Sunhwa

What do you think Leader? Should we go with it? – Youngjae

Daehyun’s mind was thinking quickly, the plan to him sounded decent and it was the only plan they had, so he was about to agree with then plan…when…

‘No.’ Byul stated, causing Daehyun to look at her.

Daehyun looked at her with a confused and questioning glaze.

‘They are holding 2 of your members captive. If that member shoot, I’m certain that after the first shot is sounded, one will be saved but the other captive will be killed.’ Byul said, while keeping her eye on the map.

Daehyun looked amazed and impressed at Byul before reporting back to his team.

‘No. don’t do that. Zelo, Jongup just stay in your position. Wait for my next order.’ Daehyun said

Neh – Jongup and Zelo

‘Then what should we do?’ Daehyun asked

‘the 2 captive members of yours…how fast are they?’ Byul questioned

Daehyun gave Byul a confused look ‘what do you mean?’ he asked

‘How fast is their reflects and their movement.’ Byul said

‘Their fast.’ Daehyun answered

‘Is 3 seconds enough for them to get out?’ Byul asked

Daehyun nod.

‘Are they equipped?’ Byul questioned

Daehyun nod again

Byul smiled ‘Here’s the plan.’ She start explain

- 3 minutes Later -

Alright I’m in place – Zelo

Me too – Jongup

So…your just going to go with a plan, that a random stranger just suggested to you?! – Himchan

‘Well there’s no other plan.’ Daehyun replied

The strategy that they are going to do…did sound a little dangerous…especially when…the girl herself…is going to be bait.

Um…Are you sure this is going to work leader? – Youngjae

‘Like I said…there’s no other choice.’ Daehyun said

Isn’t it dangerous for the girl though? - Sunhwa

‘Well her strategy sounds reasonable and stabilize enough.’ Daehyun said

SHE DOESN’T EVEN BLOODLY KNOW IF THEY HAVE GUNS OR NOT!!!- Youngjae, Sunhwa and Himchan

‘Aishi. Well it’s too late anyways, everyone is in position.’ Daehyun said

Daehyun was hiding in a bush with Byul, in a distance he could see the groups of dealers in front of him, they all had their backs facing him. From where he was he could spot Zelo and Jongup who have moved from their previous hiding place, which was behind the 2 dealer that were holding Jieun and Hana captive, to each side of the group. If you connected the lines, where they and Jieun and Hana were, it was like a square and the dealers were right in the middle of it. It was another ambush attack.

‘Everyone’s already in place…’ Daehyun whispered to Byul ‘are you sure you want to go along with this?’

‘That’s the 10^th time you’ve asked. And my answer is yes.’ Byul said

Daehyun let out a sigh before looking at the girl next to him in worry ‘Be careful.’ He whispered

Byul smiled and nod, before getting up and walked out in the open towards the group. She stopped at a fair distance away from the large group.

‘YAH! YOUR ALL DRUG DEALERS AREN’T YOU!!!’ Byul shouted loudly, getting all of the dealers attention.

As on queue, the dealers that held Jieun and Hana captive lost their focus and had their attention on Byul, Jieun and Hana grabbed a hand onto the dealers’ arm and twisted earning loud shout of pain. Pushing the dealers away from them, Jieun and Hana took out their guns and pointed at the group. At the same time when the other dealers turned their attention to the shouts of pain, Zelo and Jongup came out of their position and pulled out their guns and pointed at the group also. Daehyun followed and stood in front of Byul, pointing his gun at the group.

 ‘DROP YOUR WEAPONS!’ Zelo shouted

‘MOVE A MUSCLE AND YOUR BLOWN IN THE HEAD!’ Jongup announced

‘Your all under arrest.’ Daehyun stated

Just like that…it was a Mission success. The Dealers listened well to the agents instruction, since they feared that they might get shot as to how Jongup had threatened them.

Byul smiled, she was glad to have helped someone and did a good for the streets of Changwon.

‘My queue to leave now.’ Byul thought, odd reasons for feeling disappointed.

Byul turned away…but never managed to took a step…Because Daehyun had stopped her.

‘Yah. Where do you think your going?’ Daehyun questioned, hint of teasing in his tone.

Byul turn to face Daehyun with a confused look ‘Going home?’ she said unsurely

Daehyun chuckled and shook his head. ‘So your gonna play hero and just leave’ he said

Byul raised a brow at him ‘I’m sure I’m no hero….and what else do you expect me to do aside from going home?’ she said

‘Your coming with us.’ He stated

Byul gave him a funny look. ‘Why would I do that?’ she questioned

Daehyun smiled ‘Because, your…Our KSSA Strategist.’ He said ‘And I’m your leader. Jung Daehyun.’

-End Flash Back-

‘And from then…I am apart of KSSA.’ Byul said

Jaejoong looked at Byul amazed and impressed

‘Basically you saved their asses on your first meeting?’ he questioned

Byul chuckled at how Jaejoong said it ‘I guess you can put it that way.’ She said

Jaejoong blinked a couple of times and processed the story

‘Wow.’ Jaejoong uttered

Byul laughed ‘well, I’m getting back to work now.’ She said and turned back to the computer and start writing again.

-Agents-

The agents followed Daehyun, who had lead them to their secret hideout…which that haven’t used in a long time, due to the amount of work they have been receiving from both the government and police department.

‘Daehyun why are we going to the hideout?’ Youngjae questioned.

‘Well staying back at the police department, wouldn’t be of any help. And besides, we have more necessary equipment that will help us here.’ Daehyun reasoned and went into the hideout

None of the other agents said anything and just followed Daehyun in.

The Hideout, was created for the agents by the government. It appearance was a small house, but underground were spacious floors of everything an agent need. Sparing rooms, Shooting rooms, a huge library, 2 Laboratories, recovery/rehab room, infirmary, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, research room and a huge computer room with over 100 computers and screens.

Once the agents were in the hideout, they couldn’t help but to smile, there were many memories and the fact that they missed the hideout. Daehyun continued walking until he reached the computer room, with the others behind him.

‘So what’s the plan now?’ Yongguk asked

‘We’re going to track down that kidnaper through the security cameras.’ Daehyun stated

All the agent mouth dropped and stared shockingly at Daehyun ‘WHAT?!’ the agents exclaimed

Daehyun ignored them and went turning on the computers ‘you guys heard me.’ He stated

‘YAH! DAEHYUN! ARE YOU INSANE?!!!’ Youngjae shouted, first one to recovered ‘There are millions, billions and many more cameras! How do you expect us to be able to search through all of them for traces of Byul and the kidnapper?!’

‘That’s the last way we’ve got.’ Daehyun said ‘There are no traces of them beside for the cameras that might of caught them.’

‘This will at least take us a week or more…’ Jieun said

‘Doesn’t matter. I’m going with this. And it’s up to you guys if your in or out.’ Daehyun stated

The agents gave looks to each other.

Youngjae let out a sigh ‘what kind of statement is that. You know we’ll do whatever it takes to get Byul back.’ He said and helped Daehyun turning on the monitors.

‘There’s no other solution is there…might as well do something.’ Hana said

The Agents didn’t complain or were against the idea…they were willing to do what ever it takes to get their strategist back…even if it’s the hard and long way.

‘In week’s time. We will definitely get you back safe. Byul.’ Daehyun thought determined
