Too Demanding Authors
FG Guide To: Apply FicsToo Demanding Authors
*This is when taken to an extreme
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ugh my biggest nightmare (I'm serious this time). There are too many to count when it comes to this and I seriously hate all demanding authors. Now are all authors that ask for specific requirements demanding?
No.
Only if they go on and on about very specific things and than when they even ask for originiality they said they don't like it and don't fully address what you can change (ex. Foreign Languages).
What Makes An Author Demanding?
They critisize one thing and go on and on about it.
Don't let you use certain Ulzzangs.
Ask for more than two Ulzzangs.
Don't let you use any parts from past apply fics (I like reusing personalities thank you very much).
Tell you to have a min of 3, or more, paragraphs for personality/background/etc. (If they do ask for a min of 3 for personality but have no background that's fine it evens it out)
Tell you not to touch the format AT ALL and flip if you do by accident.
The author complains they don't like something not necessarily because it doesn't make sense but because they personally don't (ex. your character likes ice cream and the author hates ice cream).
Are looking for specific types of OC's (you can tell in their reviews).
Keep asking for a specific type of OC (typically gender).
Are plain rude.
Have tons of rules (that half of them don't really make sense).
Want you to comment EVERY chapter.
More will be added
If You Are Writing: If you are being super picky about characters clearly you know what you want and don't. Write your own story that isn't an apply fic. It isn't fair to the applyers or you.
If You Are Applying: Truthfully if someone is too demanding (as I said before in How To Pick An Ulzzang) don't apply, they will get on your nerves and they will become bias even if your app is good or not. It's not worth it in the long run and there are authors out there that know what their doing and are actually nice.
