Chapter 2

Undying Love

 

~~No it is not what you are thinking!... He is not my real brother.

He is my stepbrother.

My mother and his father decided to get married when we were young. I guess I was 13 at that time and my older brother was 14. Of course at first I’ am a bit shocked but when I learned that I would have an older brother, I somehow rejoiced. I know my mother would be happy with his new husband, besides, I have always wanted to have an older brother. I have read many stories wherein the older brother always guide and protect his sister. I want to experienced that feeling…

 

...And then my older brother came to my view, he hugged me tight… Tears began to fall from my eyes. I missed this feeling… But he suddenly disappeared again.

I shouted, “Niichan… Where are you? Are you still mad at me? I want to see you… I want to see you again… And I promised that I will never make the same mistake again”

 

“Nina! Hey! Wake up!” ---my bestfriend Nica is pushing me hard.

 

“Huh? Was I asleep again?” --- I really love to sleep

 

“Yes, Wait… Are you crying? Did you dream of your older brother again?” ---how did she know?

 

“No! Why do you always insert my older brother to our conversation? I’m just sleepy, that’s all” --- I just need to change the topic

 

“Yeah, Yeah... I know you are just changing the topic.”

 

“So, is sensei already here?”

 

“Oh… he just left. Don’t worry, he’s not angry that you are asleep, besides your grades are good in this Japanese Class”

 

“Yakatta… Let’s go home!”

 

As we are walking home I kept thinking about my niichan. I hope dreams do come true. But I don’t want him to suddenly disappear like that. Anyway, I looked at Nica and saw that she is watching her favorite idol group again.

I think it was called Hop? Or Jump? I don’t really care, I’m not interested in those kind of things.

But when I take a look, One of the member did an amazing backflip, something that I always saw 5 years before. A nostalgic scenery…

 

I saw him... I saw him at last… but how? Why? Can it be?

 

“Niichan??? What is going on? Yuri-niichan? Why is he there??”

Chapter 29: what a nice story...!!!!! i soooooo love this nak...!! this is just perfect...! though it is a bit tragic to the part of nina since all her relatives died but still, love find its way to tend her broken heart...and yuri(the stepbro) was right, they were just inside that heart and watching and loving you...
