"Yes."

"No. I won't do it."

Tao glares furiously at the santa suit lying on the sofa, hoping it might spontaneously combust before someone forces it upon his personage.

He wouldn't be caught dead or alive wearing something as un-chic as that... thing.

Kris sighs wearily, in no mood to put up with any of Tao's shenanigans this early in the morning. He needed to get back to sleep, for the love of skincare and no dark circles.

"I wore it last year, Tao-er. You wanna be like ge, right?"

"You're a pompous ," Tao sniffs, but Kris can see the cogs working in his brain, and he knows his wallet is going to get a sorry beating after this, but there's no ing way he's going to wear that cursed suit two years in a row.

"Fine," Tao finally mutters, and Kris breathes a loud sigh of relief.

"But--" Tao continues, and Kris' sigh becomes a moan of despair, because there's always a but when it comes to Tao.

"You better get me something really nice for Christmas. Or I'm gonna make you wear this in the middle of Myeongdong."

Tao scoops up the costume and stomps off to his room in a huff, and Kris can't help but wonder if maybe he got himself into a worse mess than he would have been if he'd have just worn the damn thing.

"Santao Claus is coming to town," Kris sang grimly as he made his way back to his room, slipping back under his blankets and closing his eyes.
