- sean paul is a rapper. his mother is part chinese, so in this fic, sean paul's mom is kris's mom's sister, and that's how kai meets sean.
- ttk=trigga trey kim, based off trigga trey songz. kai is trey's protégé.
- canadian grass= from canada.
- island: an actual island in canada. I have no idea if they grow weed there, but please pretend that they do
- this is a rasta cap. they can or can not have dreads attached. in this fic, chanyeol has one with rainbow dreads.
- I have no idea how reggae people(?) usually behave, but since chanyeol's a weirdo I think it's okay LOL

now, onto the fic!

It's three in the morning when Chanyeol slips out of the dorm on a Sunday morning, rasta cap planted firmly upon his head, guitar strapped to his back, tin can in hand, and makes his way over to his favorite street corner. He sits down on the sidewalk (because sitting on cardboard is for losers, and no true hobo uses a chair), s his guitar case, settles it on his lap, and begins to strum the chords to his favorite Bob Marley song.

"Terrrrrrrrrrrn ya lights down looooooow," he rumbles (he still can't sing, no matter how many times Baekhyun's tried to teach him), and the few people on the street at three in the morning give him strange looks, but he closes his eyes and plays on, rocking his body to the beat.

Around six, Chanyeol decides that he needs a little something to keep him going, so he decides to call up his best homie, Duizhang Kevin Kris Jiaheng Wufan Yifan Ben Ben Li Wu, for a special delivery of Canadian grass.
