Chapter 1: Denial.

I don’t know why but my eyes kept following Doojoon’s every move. The way he scribbled down notes, twirled his pen around boredly, how his eyes glanced around, how he fixed his hair sometimes and how he replied nonchalantly to whatever Seungho, who sat next to him, asked.

“Why are you staring at him like that..” Kikwang chuckled as I felt myself blush. I turned away from Doojoon, making sure to avoid Kikwang’s eyes. “Aniyo! I wasn’t staring at him! I was staring at the girl in front of him!” I answered quickly but Kikwang shook his head making me turn to him.

“There are no girls sitting in front of him.”

I frowned: “I don’t like him!” Kikwang’s eyebrows rose in amusement as I pouted. “I didn’t say that..” He said in a teasing tone.

“Oh..” Kikwang chuckled as my face heated up. He turned away from me keeping silent, letting out chuckles once in a while.

“Kikwang stop!” I cried out and he burst out laughed and automatically the class, including Doojoon, turned to us. This is so embarrassing!

I shook my head trying to hide my face with my arms. “Kikwang, want to share the class why you’re laughing?” “Yoseob, ahahahahaha~” My eyes widened and I shook my head; “Shut up, Kikwang!” I hissed and kicked him from under the table. “He did something funny~ Yoseob you’re just so cute!” He pat my head staring at me with his smiling eyes and I just replied with my fiercest glare.

“Sorry miss, continue class please!” Kikwang turned to the teacher smiling. And which female doesn’t fall for that.. I rolled my eyes slightly moving away from Kikwang.

At lunch I sat down outside with my ‘clique’ which consisted off; ME, Kikwang, Hyunseung, Junhyung, Joon and Mir.

Junhyung and Hyunseung are a couple. Junhyung confessed to Hyunseung. Hyunseung was scared but Junhyung won him over at the end and now they’re a couple. But they look like best friends, ahem they don’t like to show off their relationship(HYUNSEUNG).

Kikwang is just annoying but he’s my best friend..

Joon and Mir are best friends but enemies as well. I think they like each other though. They argue all the time..

But anyways.

Doojoon walked by with Dongwoon. I stared at him. He looked so good. Faded blue jeans and a simple white t-shirt.. And my god.. those eyes. Ew, wait what! I like girls! I’m just jealous he’s so pretty.. I mean handsome.

“So Yoseob likes someone.” I turned my head to Kikwang who was chuckling. “I don’t like him alright! Stop it! I’m not gay!” I whined as Kikwang just smiled at me. He smiles way too much.

“So Yoseob is gay? For who!” Mir said excitedly. It was a bit too loud though. “I’M NOT GAY.” I yelled angrily but Joon just chuckled. “I wouldn’t be surprised. You’re so prettty.” Joon pat my head. “I’m not pretty! I’m y!” They all started laughing as I pouted. “Fine, handsome.” “What does being pretty have to do with being gay.” Junhyung mumbled annoyed. “You’re bi-ual that’s different. So you can be pretty or handsome and I guess you’re slightly handsome.” Joon chuckled and Junhyung rolled his eyes about to reply.

“Junhyung just shut up and ignore him.” Junhyung’s jaw dropped slightly as Hyunseung just shook his head. “Listen to your wife.” “I’m the man in this relationship.” “Oh, no you’re not.” “Yes I am.” Junhyung glared at Hyunseung. “I’m older, I decide.” Hyunseung said childishly sticking his tongue out. I sighed turning away from them and in front of me was Doojoon.

Well he wasn’t in front of me. He was quite faraway but let just say the first person I saw was him.

He was talking with his friends. I glanced at his y jaw line. It’s so.. Yoseob stop! I shook my head and turned away but my eyes just kept going back to him. His pretty eyes.. If only he looked at me right now. I want to drown—

“See he’s staring!”

I was snapped back to reality by Kikwang’s yell. I glared at him angrily as those other 4 boys stared at me in surprise. “Wow, he really does seem gay.”

“Aniyo! I only admire him!” I pouted once again. Today everyone is against me..

“Of course you admire him.” Hyunseung ‘giggled’ and I turned away from them. “You are all just so mean!” I whined and started to walk away.

Omg! Why am I walking straight to Doojoon? STOP STOP STOP. I panicked but my feet kept walking. I stopped. I sighed in relief.

“What’s wrong blonde-kid.” I looked up in surprise. “Byunghee-sshi!” He stared at me and I stared at his mustache. I wonder why—

“Because it’s manly. Anyways blonde-kid, your hair is blinding me. Get the hell out of my sight.” My jaw dropped in shock. This ahjusshi! I want to just—

“G.O-yah. Why are you so mean to him?” I turned to Doojoon in surprise. Knight in shinin— cough..

“Kids with bright hair annoy me.” “Seungho-hyung had blonde hair.” I think I’m floating—NO I’M NOT FLOATING. I shook my head quickly and bowed a few times: “I’m sorry!” “Don’t apologize, Yoseob-ah.”

I froze.

He knows my name? HE KNOWS MY NAME.

I looked up and saw Doojoon staring at me with a smile. “He’s acting like a girl.” G.O. interrupted. “Are you gay?” “I am not gay! Goddamnit!” I cried out and then I froze, again. I covered my mouth with my hand as they laughed.

“You must get that a lot.” Doojoon smiled at me. Why am I meltiiing. This is wrong!

I nodded smiling. “I should go.” I bowed quickly running away from them.

I found a quiet place with no one around and sat down on the ground leaning against a wall. My face feels so warm.. I touched my face and I noticed my hands were trembling slightly.

Yoseob you’re acting like a girl~!

I shook my head again. I feel so weird!

I can’t be gay, right? I just admire Doojoon a lot. I wish I had manly features like him. Sharp charismatic eyes, y jaw line, manly built. But Kikwang got that too.. oh, but he’s my friend that changes everything.

Yeah, I’m not gay. Doojoon is just a perfect rolemodel. Yeah that’s it.
