"You two are so perfect for each other."

People have told you that since you started training (“Both of you match so well. It’s perfect!”) and it was made known that he found you beautiful. You laugh the first time you heard it, blushing prettily and teasing him with a waggling finger. “So, we’re perfect together, eh?” you’d say and he’d reply with a smile and shrug. Your heart would flutter every time someone would bring it up and he’d respond the same as the first time. But then—

"You two are so perfect for each other."

That one line, repeated so many times makes you feel like it’s eating away at your soul as you force on a smile and keep on laughing it off. Sure, you know you're perfect for him, but you also know – that even though he smiles and shrugs and plays along - he doesn't see it that way.

Changmin's always been… different. Reserved was a word used most often to describe his demeanor. Like a silent sea, calm and deep – shrouded in mystery. God knows you’ve tried to get him out of his shell more – everyone’s tried but he’s always been able to pull away.
