It might have been romantic, now that she thinks about it... if only he had met her under the pouring rain and an umbrella on hand, shielding her from wet drops falling from the sky. He might have said nothing for a moment, walking alongside her in silence and enjoying the company before slowly taking her wet hand within his.

She would say "Thank you" once he dropped her off the waiting shed for the bus. She would blush just as her hand dropped from his touch and she would turn away... only to stop by voice ringing out, "Wait, what's your name?"

"Tiffany," she would reply with a smile, "You?"

"Kris." The grin on his handsome face would be small, but magnificent all the same - making her heart go pit, pat, pit, pat.

It might have been romantic if it had gone that way but she doesn't think she minds how things turned out as well. She doesn't mind that it's at a gym where he meets her, and the wet drops rolling down her face are anything but sweet. She doesn't mind that it's her who holds her hand up first, and how his hand weighs heavy but warm upon touch... she doesn't mind because when he smiled back and said his name, things began and turned out all the better.
