Throughout English and Math, I try to avoid Daesung and his friends. My friends don't know what's going on in my brain, but they know me enough to not mention Daesung. Or any of his friends.

When the school bell rings, I sigh in relief. I pick up my backpack and walk with my girls to my locker.

"Watch it, ." a female voice says behind my locker. I bet I know who it is. I close my locker and sure enough, that voice belongs to Amy the . "You stole my Daesung, and you will regret that."

I stole her Daesung? She wasn't even with him in the first place.

"I never stole him away from you," I retort back. "He doesn't even like me."

"And how do you know that?" That caught me off guard.

"Well, how do you know he rejected you because of me?" That earned me a glare from that .

"You won this round, Eun Parkye. But it won't be so easy next time." She pushes me onto the ground, hard and she walks away.

I won the first round? And was I supposed to be offended by the name 'Eun Parkye'?


"Hey Eun!" Sohee calls out for me. I find her in the crowded hallway with the girls and I rush up to them.

"What took you so long?" Yubin unnie.

"Yeah. We were really hungry so we started eating." Sunmi.

"Sorry guys, I had some business to take care of." Me.

"What sort of business?" Sunmi.

Then Yubin unnie suddenly leans in towards me. "Don't tell me, it's that Daesung guy, isn't it?"

I sigh. "It was related to him."

"Yeeun!" Dear God, can't I have some peace? I sure am in love with Daesung, but that doesn't mean I want him behind my back all the time!

I turn around and face him. "Hi, Daesung."

"Sorry for this morning," he apologizes. Don't be sorry, fool. I should be the one who's sorry. "Earlier, before the bell rang, as I was saying.. " He trails off, looking nervous.

"The person that I like is.. "

"Daesungie!" Oh lord, that is always behind my back. People, why can't you be kind to a freshman?

"Hi Amy.." Well the good thing is that Daesung sounds annoyed. He probably is, with Amy hanging off his back all the time. I mean, who wouldn't be?

"Daesuuuung! I have a surprise for you! Come on!" she turns Daesung and the guys the other way. Before walking off, she turns and gives me a glare.

I'm not intimidated though. Not anymore. I glare back.

Yubin unnie raises a brow. "Why did that glare at you? Did you do something to her?"

"No, nothing." I silently say and eat my food.

Why is it so hard for me to say "I Love You"?

Is it so hard? Just to say three words?
