The Silent War

As my body shivers to the bones,

I walk silently on this endless path;

I gaze upon the stars; they’re like bright stones–

Then, I wondered, “Could I end this wrath?”

The feeling of longing for you–

Vague, uneasy,and blurry;

Yet to my heart, I know it’s true;

And to you, is nothing to worry.

But, hear me out; my voice and my all,

My battle cry – ‘surge over the seas;

And lunge to the deepest mountains’; I call,

For certainly, I don’t want to miss this.

So I continued on this path of forever,

But– with the strong emotions and; Ardor,

‘Tis I have decided to go on and ever,

That I’ll fight ‘til the end, and say, “I’ll love you more.”
