Boundless Hope

I was afraid to be lost in the deep waters of dreams,

Atrociously it seems, I was right;

Pierced my heart as the darkness beams,

It left me freezing in the unending night.

I was nearly losing;nearly dying,

Worse was there to unseat Badness,

Both argued who to be herald as king,

Of my unwritten obscure success.

Never aware that the gush of tears is drifting,

Found myself in the middle of somewhere–

Somewhere peculiar yet fitting,

Yetagain, I will defy; I will dare.

I hankered for these thoughts,

For these feelings; they should be mine.

Still– I can’t fathom these cloths,

That over-dressed and stole time.

Light used the pre-existing fading life,

Sprung back to existence; but undead.

What it needed was an embrace;a strife,

An actuality never to vow and end.

Running and shouting,then running again,

At last! Heaven was here to stay,

‘Cause you are he; may I say,

Eternity, life; Words will never wilt until then.
