Every day after school Taemin would show up in the facility where Minho resided. He figured the sooner he got this over with the better.

He wanted to be a free man to be able to be able to smoke on the rooftop and watch the sun set the way he always did. Being with Minho, he wasn’t allowed to go home till it got dark.

Minho had his own home, but preferred to sleep in the facility. It was just easier and he couldn’t stand the thought of being a burden on anyone.

Every day was the same. Taemin would show up run small errands for Minho. Not that Minho was incapable of doing, but kept his word to keep Taemin busy before it was time for Taemin to leave.

Taemin watched silently making sure not to bother Minho as he worked on new math formulas. After seeing how Minho had solved that rubix cube he didn’t question the elder’s abilities. Although he was starting to question if he was really blind.

Taemin shoved his ear buds in and listened to music to drown out Minho’s talking computer that was spitting out numbers and worked on his own homework, observing the taller boy more than he should.

He carefully examined Minho’s masculine features. From his long ragged black hair down to his plush pink lips. From his dorky black sweater vests down to his black converse that matched quite nicely. He’d look away when ever Minho would turn his head in the other’s direction.

He felt stupid knowing Minho couldn’t see, but didn’t want to take any risks in getting caught.

Minho could feel Taemin’s heavy gazes and purposely look in his direction only to smile when he sensed Taemin pretending to look somewhere else.  

After about 4 days of this routine, Taemin finally spilled about how he was caught spray painting the building.

Minho asked why.

Taemin said he was bored.

Minho chuckled.

Taemin smiled.
