You woke up with a headache, but you were reluctant to join exo-k for dinner. You plan to escape from this horrible place. You open your window panels and jumped out of it. You quickly picked yourself up and started running. You didn't care where you were heading to, you just dash into the dark forest. There were noises coming from the rustling of the leaves. You stepped onto leaches and fell flat onto the ground but you didn't care at all. You continued running until an old lady blocked your way. You froze. Her were burning red and you can sense danger but you put your guards down. The old lady handed you a drink and claim that you will return to where you are once you drink it. Little did you know that the drink the old lady gave you was poisonous. Without suspecting the lady, you drank it in one gulp. In a split second, you fell onto the ground

(Back in the palace)

Exo-k gathered at the dining table, waiting to be served. Everything was normal except for One Thing. Emptiness. They all felt empty for some reasons. It was because of you. They can no longer hear your heartbeat. That is when Suho asked Kai to go and look for you. As the rest waited for you with heavy hearts.

Kai then went into the dark forest to look for you. He concentrated only on your heartbeat, nothing else. He followed the way where your heartbeats can be heard clearly as he was getting closer, your heartbeat gets louder. He teleported himself to the place where you might be. He was right, he had a mini heart attack when he saw an old lady reaching out for your neck with fangs that contains venom in it. Kai sprinted towards the old lady and throw cold daggers at her. He then growl in his deep and husky voice. ''DON'T. YOU. DARE. LAY. A. HAND. ON. HER." His voice was intimidating yet demanding. When the odl lady recognize Kai as the prince of vampire realm, she took a step back and scurried off.

Kai immediately rush to you and place his ever so protective hands on your shoulders and gently shook you, praying that you will be alright. Then he stood up, he place his hands below your knees and back and lifted you up in bridal style. He teleported back into the palace and placed you gently on the couch in the living room. Exo-k then surrounded you with worried expressions. Without a choice, Kai inserted his fangs into your wrist and out the poison in you. Once the poison was removed from your body, kai found out that he was addicted to the taste of your blood. He couldn't stop himself from drinking your blood. Sehun then placed his hand on Kai's shoulders and gently patted it, ''Stop feeding on her blood otherwise she is not gonna see the sunlight tomorrow.'' Kai immediately pulled out his fangs that were inserted into your wrist earlier. He felt guilty for drinking too much of your blood.
