There are stories about beautiful princesses and the princes that could tear castles apart for them. There are stories about love and what they do to sane people. There are stories about soldiers returning from war, some of them complete, some of them devoid of souls. There are stories about time travellers and the wives they leave behind. 

However, there are also stories about loss, and love, and grief, and what it means to rip your heart out and give it to someone who might not want it. These aren't stories. These are battle cries from the romantic souls who believed, believes, and would always believe in love and other crazy things.
