A NEW DAWN
Description
For the nine survivors it was a battle to live, a battle to stay alive after a virus spread that turned the entire population a living dead . Their hopes were high; they knew that aside from them there were still other survivors striving to live and and killing to survive.
The question was.....Will they survive? Or will they end up just like the sea of creatures walking aimlessly on the street. Safety was too farfetched.

A NEW DAWN: SAFETY IS TOO FARFETCHED
“I’m thirsty….” Dara muttered weakly as she leaned on my shoulder. I pulled her closer to me rubbing her cheeks to ease her anxiety.
We’ve been trapped on the rooftop for a week already with little water and food.
We don’t know how long we’re going to last here. But one thing is for sure. Sooner or later we have to go down there to and face the sea of living dead creatures that are itching to dig their teeth on our flesh.
I pull out the almost empty bottle of mineral water from my coat pocket and opened it.
“We only have a few drops of water left…” I said as raise the bottle to her dry lips.
She smiled to me before she sipped enough to wet her lips and quench her thirst.
“Drink more…” I urge her.
She shook her head and smiled weakly, “You need it too…”
“I’m fi…”
“No you’re not, don’t be stubborn and drink too…”
“Really I’m…”
“Ji….” she stared sternly at me. “I can’t afford to lose you….I already lost so much.. if I lose you I don’t know if I can still survive…”
“You won’t lose me.” I assured her squeezing her hand gently.
“Then drink and stay strong…” she held my hand and clasps it close to her chest.
“We will survive together…” she said.
I pulled her closer to me and hugged her tight.
“I know we will…” I mumble kissing her head and staring straight ahead unsure of our future.
Safety is too farfetched. But I don’t care. As long as Dara’s beside me, I’ll never get tired of fighting and hoping that there still a better tomorrow for us.
A/N: I know my crazy twisted brain is creating a disaster here.. I just want to try it… I’m a big fan of zombie movies. I think I have watched most if not all the zombie movies available out there. Who’s watchig the American series THE WALKING DEAD? That’s the greatest zombie series I have watched. I’m crazy over Steven Yeun (Glen) I think have this thing for Asian guys. >0< COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE
