6 Years Later

December 15^th, 2006.

                “Lee Eun Jae!”

                She heard Sang Hyun’s footsteps getting louder from behind.

                “Lee Eun Jae! Slow down!”

                She slowed down but kept walking.

                “Yahh, where are you rushing to?”

                Park Sang Hyun a.k.a Thunder, or to be exact, her only friend finally caught up with her and his panting breath makes her feels a little sorry towards him. After all, he is her only friend.

                “Library,” she answered.

                Her words always are short and simple. She rarely smiles, and the sound of her laughing is almost non-existent.

                “You’re going to the library? I thought you’re working today?”

                “I quit,” again she answered him without much words or explanation.

                “Why? You told me you like it there? It’s quite and there’s not many visitors coming. It’s perfect right?” Thunder asked.

                She kept on walking ignoring his questions.

                “Yahh, what’s wrong? Talk to me okay?”

                “It’s nothing.”

                Thunder sighed as he kept his eyes fixed on Eun Jae.

                Sometimes, even he can’t understand that girl. They’re actually the complete opposite. Ji Eun is anti-social while he is the college’s most popular boy. But, he met her years before and from the first day he met her, he had sworn that he’ll protect that girl no matter what.

                But nobody, not even he would be able to predict that a week after that, everything would change.
