It was a typographical error. She was pathetic really. She thought of how stupid it was to fangirl over a mistake but she couldn’t help it. Kristal sounded so nice and perfect and wonderful and did she say perfect? Kristal. Kristal, Kristal, Kristal.

Krystal beamed, stifling the incoming giggles she knew she would have if she kept repeating that name over and over again. She stared at the most wonderful error in the world.

Kristal reminded her of the Kris+Krystal doodles on her diary she used to do when she was younger. It was the ship sailing and the fan fictions she writes about in her head all the time. It reminded her of the time when she tried to match her outfit with his so they could look like a couple. Or the time she purposely sprained her ankle in front of him so he could carry her on his back. Or when she accidentally spilled hot water on him because she saw him with another girl… it was really an accident. Sort of. Seeing Kristal made her remember of all the stupid things she had ever done for love.

“What’s that?” Kris peered over Krystal’s shoulder. He tried to snatch the paper away from her hands but she was too fast. She smirked at him, while she tore the paper into pieces.

“It’s nothing.”
