Finally Together.... Well... Almost...

Blue Moon

Chen was tired. He only made it to the center of the city when he felt the ground rumble. He frowned at this rate he wouldn’t be able to make it out of the city much less to find his friends. He was growing tired and the eerie growl of earth made him feel nervous.
He stopped taking a deep breath. He needed to get out of here. He was tired of staring at destroyed building, shattered crystals, and worse than that, blood splatters from the people who couldn’t find safety in time. Chen tired to ignore it as best he could and continued on his way. He glanced up at the night sky trying to see when the almighty tree once stood. He frowned there was nothing. Even the sky seemed sad. The only thing was the glowing blue moon that beat down onto the land illuminating it with a ghostly glow.
Again, out of hope, he looked up where the precious tree once stood. It wasn’t there, it would never be again, but something caught his eye. Something was moving up near the stars. He couldn’t make it out, but if anything it could help.
He took his stance and got ready, only to fall over as the ground shook violently again. He knew that he only had one chance and he had to be fast before the ground beneath him vanished. He took all he had charged up and shot an electric shock into the air, causing a loud crack to sound.
He hunched over breathing heavily. He tried to keep it eye on the object as best as he could, but it seemed to be gone. He frowned, knowing that was probably his last chance. He collapsed on to the ground face first breathing deeply and tiredness began to over come him. He last thing he could see was darkness as his eyes shut closed.

Kris had his dragon land on a clear patch of dirty near the center of the city where the shot came from. The dragon proceeded to curl up to relax while Luhan continued his nap. Kris and Xuimin leapt off the dragon and began their hunt for the owner of the lightening bolt.
“It came from around here.” Kris noted.
“Right!” Xuimin confirmed, “He can’t be far let’s go.”
The walked over the cement blocks and tree branch fragments, being careful as they walked. Xuimin focused on the left side while Kris on the right, as the distance between them increased in order to find their friend. Xuimin constantly looked behind his back to make sure that Kris was at least an ear shot away, in case of an emergency.
Xuimin continued to search when he heard heavy breathing. “Kris?” He called out to make sure it wasn’t him.
“What?!” Kris seemed to be getting impatient.
“Do you hear that?” Xuimin asked as he began to look around removing rocks that were in the way of his view. Kris joined him; it wasn’t long till they saw Chen, lying on the ground, breathing heavily.
“CHEN!” Xuimin shouted and he kneeled down where his friend lay. Xuimin turned him over looking at his body. It seemed fine. Xuimin let out a loud breath.
Kris walked over taking the other side of Chen.  “He’s alright?” He wanted to make sure.
“Seems it.” Xuimin smiled, he seemed to relax a bit after finding a friend.
“Well, waking him up.” Kris ordered not quite sure how to handle the situation at hand.
Xuimin lightly shook Chen’s body. Chen groaned but did not wake up. Xuimin glanced at Kris. “He must be really tired.”
Kris grumbled. Not only was Luhan out, but Chen as well. Kris stood up grabbing Chen’s body and slowly dragging him back towards where his dragon was resting.
“We have to get out of here. It’s not safe.” Was all Kris could say, as Xuimin followed slowly behind him, watching his friend’s limp boy sway like a rag doll as Kris walked.

When they got back to Kris’ dragon, they were met with a surprise. Luhan was gone. He wasn’t lying on the dragon anymore, he actually didn’t seem like he was anywhere.
Kris placed Chen down to look around. “LUHAN!” He yelled. If Luhan woke up and began to wander he couldn’t have gotten far. “LUHAN!” He began to scream with urgency.
“I’m over here. Quiet down.” Luhan ordered his younger member. Kris ran over to where the voice was, while Xuimin accompanied Chen.
Kris turned the corner of a big boulder to see Luhan sitting up and Lay examining Luhan’s body.
“I’m fine.” Luhan clarified as Kris took a seat exhausted. He took a moment before looking at Lay.
“When did you get here?” Kris asked out of confusion.
Lay looked at him. “Suho and I saw a flash of light and thought it might be Chen, but we found Luhan instead.” He noted.
“Well, Chen’s with us now, Xuimin is watching over him by the dragon. Where’s Suho?” Kris asked looking around but couldn’t see the other leader.
“He’s still searching for people, I guess he figured you guys would be near by.” Kris nodded, standing up looking for the leader.
“I’ll be back.” He told Luhan and Lay before venturing out again.

Kris walked over the rubble with ease. He was looking for Suho, now that everyone was in one place; there was no need to separate. They all would be able to leave together.
It wasn’t long until Kris caught glimpse of him.
“SUHO!” He shouted towards him. Suho immediately turn around with a smile on his face. He seemed more relax as he came in contact with more and more members.
“Kris!” He waved back to his senior.
“Come on! We have to head back, everyone’s waiting by the dragon, you can show us the way to safety.”
Suho nodded. “Who’s everyone?” He couldn’t help but ask.
“Me, Lay, Luhan, Xuimin, and Chen” Suho relaxed after hearing Chen’s name.
“You found him?” Suho asked.
“Yea, he was passed out, he’s lucky he caught our attention.” Kris sighed not daring to think what would have happened if he didn’t notice the flashing light.
“You haven’t seen Tao at all have you?” Suho couldn’t help but ask.
“He wasn’t with you?” Kris asked wearily.
Suho shook his head in despair. “No, he never showed and no one’s seen him.”
Suho frowned while Kris looked at the sky.
“Try not to worry to much about him.” Kris began to speak. “He wouldn’t like that. Besides,” He continued, “He’s a strong kid, out of everyone, right now, he’s probably the safest as long as he doesn’t over use his powers.” Kris noted.
Suho nodded. Kris was right and he had other things to focus on. Now that he found almost all the members, it was really time to leave.

They were almost at the meeting place when the ground growled again. It shook more violently than ever before. There was a loud cracking noise as the ground began to rip a part.
“Kris!” Suho shouted, pushing him out of the way of one of the newly forming rifts.
Suho and Kris were now on opposite sides looking at each other.
“Hold on, I’ll come get you Suho.” Kris began.
“N-NO!” Suho stopped. “The others need you more.”
Kris was taken back a little. “Wh-what?”
“You have to leave with the others now. They can’t use your dragon only you can. They don’t have much time left. Go!” Suho ordered.
Kris was about to argue back. “I’m fine on my own. I have to make it back to the camp, but you guys have to leave now!” Suho continued to order. “You can take them to safety.” The rift began to increase as the space between Suho and Kris grew greater. “You can get them away from here.” Suho looked Kris in the eye with all seriousness. “It’ll be easier on Kai, the less people the better.” He tried to give Kris reasoning. Kris started to back down. He slowly backed up not liking the decision but under the circumstances it had be done. “Get them out of here!” Suho continued. “They’ll be fine as longer as you're with them.” He added.
“But what if…” Kris tried to talk back.
“Get them to safety Kris!” Suho yelled, “As long as you have Luhan, we’ll see each other again. I promise.” Suho stared Kris down as the earth ripped apparent further. It was now or never.  “Go.” Suho whispered the order.
In a flash, Kris was gone and Suho quickly turned running away towards the camp, wondering when they would see each other again.
