Rant 11: I LIKE PICTURES & GIFFIES.

And then Jieun wore that ^^.
But she decided to change her outfit to this.
I see this with many writers, especially the ones that are extremely popular *cough cough*.
Whenever I see the author had inserted a picture, I assume they are either:
1. Too lazy to describe the outfit.
2. Likes pictures.
3. Wants to give a more visual appearance.
4. Retarded. (Which I commonly assume.)
I mean, how hard is it to describe your character's outfit? You could simply say: Jieun wore a long olive coat, dark skinnies, and brown boots. SIMPLE. You don't have to go overboard by describing everything your character is wearing because that wastes time and it's also very unnecessary.
However, if you're the type that like pictures, then there's nothing I could say but..
YOU'RE SERIOUSLY CAUSING POOR READERS LIKE ME.. LAG.
The gifs. or poster sized pictures really slow down my laptop and whenever I'm on my IpodTouch, it freezes a lot. So please, try to not include pictures and gifs. A fanfic is all about the writing, and writing is all about-- well writing. Pictures & gifs are not trivial.
If you're the type of author that want to give your readers the exact image, then..
STAHP.
It really depends on how much of a good author you are to give a very good visual picture, and it also depends on your reader's imagination.
Lastly, some readers are (no offense) retarded. They include pictures of EVERYTHING. Like the character's room, bathroom, house, etc.
